The Hornets’ Rebuild Makes ZERO Sense
The Hornets rebuild doesn’t make any sense because last season LaMelo Ball led the entire NBA at over 11 three-point attempts a game and Brandon Miller wasn’t far behind, ranking third at just under 11 attempts. Then their big move of the offseason was to draft maybe the best outside shooter in the class. Between Coniple’s size and insane shooting touch, he could turn in one of the games premier three-point weapons. He’s also a crafty inside the arc scorer, quick decision maker, and good passer. So he might just be an elite offball weapon from day one, creating a really intriguing jumpshot heavy trio alongside LaMelo and Miller. Then they also brought in Colin Ston and Spencer Denwy as veterans to diversify the offense. But unless second round pick Ryan Kulkber pans out or Musa Diabate proves to be a legitimate rotation player, this is a team with absolutely nothing to look forward to in the front court or on the defensive side of the ball. So, while they’ll be a fun watch with a high octane running gun offense, they’re still missing a few pieces to get them to that next

Between a surplus of injuries, lack of a true direction, yet weirdly talented young roster, the Charlotte Hornets are maybe the NBA’s most interesting rebuild. But what can we make of their future?

It looks like they’re just trying to punish what has always been charlottes weakness, pressuring lamelo to make a bad decision or pass to a teammate who can’t convert an open look. Get as much pressure off ball #3 so he can make the right plays and stay healthy during the season
They will be one of the worst teams again
I just don’t like how they have like 5 guards and not a single good defender on the team with no bigs it’s a organization issue more than anything that front office is horrible
