Translation our defense sucks! Scratch that we suck

No one is claiming morale victories but the dumbasses complaining about morale victories
This can also means our defense is allowing more than 90 points through 4 games
Bills, Steelers, Bucs all likely gonna win their division. We haven’t won in Miami in over a decade
Our next 5 games is a bad cowboys team, a burrow-less bengals team, a bad browns, a bad panthers team, and a London game and those games are always weird
The narrative could change quickly by November 13
as bad as the self inflicted wounds are, the offensive and qb play has been the best it has been in awhile. as a jets fan who is always down bad on the jets (lol), i am less discouraged about the miami game as eveyrbody else seems to be. we’ve been in 3 of the 4 games that we lost. and i mean big time in them. it will take time for glenn to really sink his teeth into the culture.
If our defense wasn’t trash we’d probably be 3-1. The penalties and secondary need to be addressed ASAP. A second receiver to free up GW would be amazing as well.
Teams against us average 30, against them its 20. But also:
Teams we’ve faced: 1-3, 3-1, 3-1, 4-0
Teams they’ve faced: 1-3, 1-3, 2-2, 2-2
Jets fans hate context if it shits on the team. The Chargers 1 loss is against the 1-3 Giants as well. I think we’d struggle to say we wouldn’t be doing better with their schedule. In fact, half our games we lost by last minute drives and by only 2 points (Buccs and Steelers)
The offense minus the penalty’s is doing enough to win games. The defense just hasn’t been it this season. Even if we just fix the penalty’s we would be looking ok even with the below average defense.
2 fumbles away from 2-2. On the other hand the 3-1 Steelers are 2 turnovers away from 1-3.
This team’s problem is the defense, but Jets fans arent used to that being the thing so they are still focused on the offense (which is playing fine)
Reduce turnovers by half and get a mediocre defense and we’re easily 3-1
Fire Steve wilks
Doesn’t matter now. We need to lose the rest and secure that #1 pick finally. The ONLY way to end this misery is to find our franchise QB. Building a great team around a journeyman QB = constant 8 win seasons and first round playoff exits. Which we haven’t even gotten that far yet!

Defense is a glaring issue on this team. Is it scheme or talent or dare I say Steve Wilks.
It’s the brutal turnovers and lack of getting any back that’s the difference.

sadly we are 0-3 this season in 1 score games with 4 games played
2 of those 3 games we lost to a late field goal
also if you think this is bad the Texans have only given up 51 points on defense
they are 1-3 …………
so yea they have the Number 1 Defense across the opening 4 games but the 3rd worst Offense
we need better lbs and safeties
Our defensive guru is not very guruish.
The Jets defense is bad. That is the story. We probably should have hired a defensive minded HC to take over…oh, wait.

Almost as if defense is ≈50% of the game 🤯🤯🤯🤯

When you turn the ball over 2-3x a game nothing else matters especially not at the spots we turned it over. Of course the defense is trash as well.
