1. He got so much crap on this sub most of the year, much of which was unwarranted. A majority of it came when the team as a whole stunk, so the fanbase was in a bad mood to begin with. He turned it on at the end, and at age 42 was throwing near 100mph. I hope he comes back actually.

7. Why? I get recognizing career merit, sure, he’s a hall of famer, no doubt.

   But I think most of us won’t remember him as a Giant, hell no. I don’t think he should’ve come to the bay in the first place. Absolutely not.

8. I really liked the addition of JV for the sake of having that level of veteran/future HOF for the younger arms to learn from.

9. Bring him back. Pay him more to finish his career out in SF and transition him to the coaching staff.
