Minnesota Vikings vs Cleveland Browns | Week 5 London Game Preview
The dog pound should feel right at home in London, England this week. Finally, another city that shares in their love for the Bulldog. Appropriate then, the Cleveland Browns are the home team taking on a Minnesota Vikings bunch on the second leg of their European vacation. Never got better for the Griswalds. So hopefully the second half of Skoles does. When stepping up over the middle, it’s broken up. Got two teams trying to do a big Shawn bounce back. The key for the Vikings, their beat up O line. Minnesota’s offense starts with this stat. They gave up six sacks to Pittsburgh. They lost two offensive linemen and they started the game without one of their starters is drilled by a blitzing queen. They just leave him completely unblocked. Minnesota went from an offense good for 34 week three points to 21 last week, just four for 14 on third down. Bringing pressure here on third and long and getting to WZ. Carson Wentz went from a 129 rate in his first start to an 85 rate throwing two INTs. And so the third down totals today, three sacks and two interceptions. So keep an eye on who they will and won’t have on that line as the week rolls along. Hit the comment section with updates. Let those who might not know so they can sing along to Biggie and get it. If they have a backup at tackle, then Miles Garrett’s a bigger problem than he already was supposed to be. He wasn’t a problem for the Lions, though. Cleveland didn’t sack Jared Goff once on 27 pass attempts a week ago with its offense once again working against it. The Browns defense allowed 27 points. You kind of feel bad for them. That is going to be the challenge with Miles Garrett. They’re getting the pressure, but the back seven, they have to hold up the big butt. Cleveland held Goff to a sub90 rate. Picked him off. Held him to 168 yds, just 6.2 yds per attempt. Goff picked off by Denzel Ward. And that’s what the Browns needed. That Cleveland secondary also still looking at a dude coming in off a 350 yd day. Wentz two TDs. It wasn’t all bad by any means. Jaylen Naylor scored. Just that 2-y TD though. Adam Thielen just 11 yardds. TJ Hawinson 39. got Jordan Addison back. Got behind the secondary for an 81 yder to finish with 114 in his first showing of 2025. Splone coverage and it’s Addison. He’s down the sideline. I’m going to guess he caught some heat for getting caught by a linebacker. Still, his return restores what many believe is the best one two WR punch. Justin Jefferson also went for 100 plus versus Pittsburgh. 75 plus in three straight. Gwen steps up and whips one to a wide open JJ. 30 more for Jefferson. Cleveland’s D also can’t lose track of rookie running back Xavier Scott who caught six passes for 43 yards. Scored his first NFL TD. Wentz will step up and throw to the end zone. It’s a touchdown. No issues for the Browns when it came to containing Jir Gibbs, the pass catcher in their most recent loss. The back went hands off to most often. Jordan Mason hoping to rebound from a subpar outing was a 100 plus yard two TD guy week three then 57 yds just 3.6 six a carry behind that backup heavy O line toss Mason head in the back field lost a few yards Browns held David Montgomery to 1.3 a carry on nine attempts but Gibbs the runner was a problem as they gave up a touchdown and 91 yds on 6.1 a pop to him this is Gibbs inside the five to the end zone touchdown now to Cleveland’s offense versus Minnesota’s defense Vikings gave up 24 points to Pittsburgh let DK have his way on an 80 yd TD. Linebacker Eric Wilson got tagged for it. Gave up a rate close to 120 to Aaron Rogers. No picks. And it’s TK Metaf. He’s in the loose inside the five into the end zone. That one big play was kind of it though. The Browns aren’t looking at what you’d call a rattle defense. On third and six, Rogers retreating, floating to the sideline, incomplete. Their own offense having to punt so much had them working overtime. Still, they held Rogers to 200 yd. No one else on Pittsburgh had even 36 receiving yards. Jaylen Redmond buried Rogers twice on just 22 pass attempts. Second and five. Rogers gets thrown down. It’s the second sack of the game from Jaylen Redmond. Now they go after a rookie making his first NFL start. Dylan Gabriel takes over a Browns offense that has yet to score a meager 18 points after only finding 10 versus Detroit. Few points they’ve scored the last two games were gifts by their defense or special teams too. Three for 14 on third down last week. Flaco under pressure and it is picked off. Gabriel getting the start after Flaco put together another clunker. Only 5.4 yds per attempt. No TVs, two INTs, a 39 rate. Flaco wrapped up down he goes. Flaco has been sacked twice in a game minimum each game. smelled the grass three times last week. He got there so fast he didn’t even try to hit Flaco. He just took the ball, swatted at it. DK the only Pittsburgh pass catcher to ding Minnesota secondary. And again, it was that linebacker. Cleveland’s tight end David and Jooku working off the wrong kind of a cold one just 11 yardds. Jerry Judy 48 yds versus Detroit saw the most targets. Flackole connects with Judy. Jerry Judy gain of 33 yds. Brown’s warmest receiver, Isaiah Bond, who went for 59 yards versus the Lions. Flock fires down and it is caught by the rookie Isaiah Bond. Running back Quinnshan Judkins, 33 receiving yards, plus 82 rush yards and a ground TD. He’s been the best thing about their offense since taking over two weeks ago. Fourth and goal. Judkins is in. Touchdown. Maybe he keeps it rolling. Vikings would like to clean up their play versus the run. hadn’t been an issue till last week when they gave up 99 yards on 5.2 a carry to Kenneth Gainwell. His long was just 15 yards, too. Let him punch it in twice. Gainwell left side and in for his second touchdown, 12 to five in favor of the Vikings in this series. Know that these two played one playoff game together. Cleveland won the Century Division in 1969. Minnesota won the Central. met to see who would play the Chiefs in the Super Bowl. For the Vikings and their fireb breathing quarterback, there was to be one more magic day against Cleveland in the NFL Championship game. After the first seven minutes, the Vikings were being acclaimed as the new NFL champions. It was a magic day that belonged in great part to a unique quarterback. It was a magic day that belonged most of all to 40 men competing as one. Heat. [Music] Heat. [Music]

Browns should’ve started Shedeur so Shedeur Stan hopefully stop whining and crying about how NFL has been mean to him. 😂🙏
Vikings 31
Browns 24
24-21 Browns
No hate to Vikings but browns win 24-10 sorry Wyatt world but yurr browns winning
The Vikings should win this one if they can get the offense going.
Browns winning by a FG 19-16
Cleveland is the worst team in football.
As long as it’s close, I’ll take it
Vikings over Browns 24-17
Vikings 31 Browns 19
Vikings on a euro trip
34-20 Browns
A rookie is going to have problems against that Brian Flores defense.
😂 The rookie not coming in and balling out against the Vikings. Wishful thinking.
Vikings-20
Browns-17
Nice to see Dillon Gabriel make his debut in London, but I'm picking the Vikings to bounce back in this one. Although I am concerned about their O-line after last week. Myles Garrett is no easier to stop than TJ Watt. Trust me, I know. Bengalsforever❤
This is going to be a close and defensive game. The deciding factor will be on if the browns continue to give up free points again. Against the lions, 24 of the lions points came off of 40 total yards due to turnovers and special teams. If browns play complimentary football, it should be a one score game
Well, gotta be honest as a Vikings fan. Its gonna be a tough game if we don't block Myles Garrett (If he plays) and if we can stop the run on defense. The bye week can't come soon enough. Lets just get into the bye 3-2 and get healthy. SKOL!
0:28 "last night took a L but tonight I bounce back"
CLEVELAND HAS A ROCK SOLID DEFENSE, PUTTIING AN OFFENSE ON THE FIELD THAT CAN SCORE SHOULDN'T BE THAT HARD TO DO WITH DILLION 💯💯💯💯💯!!
Browns by a million
7:01 looks like 82 from the Browns got knocked out!
Gabriel cook please🙏
0:48 😮😮😮😮😮
Give me 6-5 Vikings
Vikes win, statistics and there team has proven that browns defense will be matched with ours, including that our offense is worse meaning the vikes have an upper hand on this win.
Browns 21
Vikings 16
The Minnesota Vikings London Game
We could end up with a zero score game
Browns 45-21 vikings
(CLE on FOX again)
Flacco got benched.
Browns will win 21-10
As a bears fan do us this favor and deliver the vikings a loss
this probably will be a low scoring game. imagine both defenses out scoring their team’s offenses
As a Vikings fan, I would be surprised if we can win. Rodgers is gonna have to be the difference maker
Looking at the wentz throw to end the game from that different angle it almost looks like it was just a really bad throw. It seems like if he could have gotten the ball to addison a bit earlier/made him sit down in the space a few steps before it would have been on point.
Is the voiceover AI? Some of it sounds so unnatural.
I hope Vikings win
Wonder if the Browns offense will be at the game. If they are will they have the leak through effect on other areas?
27-17 vikings
This may be like the Raiders game in 2023. With our already depleted O-Line that Browns defense will Feast. But They’re starting a Rookie so idk if he will play good especially against Flores defense.
Idk. Minnesota I guess.
Hock is back to being a blocker again…
Really looking forward to seeing DG start! This guy has vision, a fast release, and can scramble. Add judkins and our suffocating defense and… The vikings won't know what hit them!
If the steelers could manage to beat these guys just a week ago, we better win.
Can someone explain how and why the Vikings got stuck playing in Europe two weeks in a row?
