I absolutely do not understand those that are upset at him. Horford was such a key part to some many great teams, and it just didn’t make sense for him to be in Boston anymore.
Great player, great teammate, all time great guy. I’ll be rooting for him, and I hope Boston forever shows him love because he deserves it

I’m just gonna go watch the dunk of Giannis/elbow to his face replay a couple dozen times.
As someone who grew up watching 95% of their games from maybe 1997 and on, I never thought anyone would come close to Pierce as my favorite Celtic. Al definitely challenged that and may have surpassed.
The move absolutely makes sense considering in all likelihood this is last year and he doesn’t want to do it on what is essentially a rebuild year but man it hurts.
Let’s bring him back for a third stint

I’m so glad we finally won a championship with him.
Wish he could retire with the team but unfortunately just not how things are.
His contract with GSW is 1+1, maybe Celtics can take him back in the next offseason
