FIRST Vikings-Browns Injury Report: Michael Jurgens and Myles Garrett DNP

[Music] What’s going on, Jeromes? Missile Divine Vikings will take on the Cleveland Browns Sunday. Well, morning for us at Tottenham Stadium. Vikings already over in London. Uh the Cleveland Browns leaving this evening. Uh going to land for Thursday, Friday practice over there. Uh so the their their first practice of the week on Wednesday was in Berea Scenic Berea, Cleveland, Ohio. And the story of their practice is of course superstar edge rusher Miles Garrett DNP with the ankle. So I think that this is whatever this is probably just more veteran maintenance plus you know Wednesday always take with a grain of salt. So I I could see Garrett being even if he’s limited limited on Thursday, Friday, he’ll play and he’ll still be a monster and a menace. So there you go. Uh the rest a couple limited but again mainly veteran uh issues. Joel Batonio, the great guard, Malik Collins, uh having himself a nice renaissance season. Uh both uh not injury related rest day. Same thing with tackle Cornelius Lucas. Also, you look at Jack Conklin, the veteran. So Conklin’s going to be important because Conklin is, you know, the former Tennessee Titan Michigan State, right? Yeah. Uh so he’s the Browns right tackle and remember a new starting quarterback, Dylan Gabriel’s left-handed, so Conklin is going to be watching his blind side. Also, uh Grant Delpit. Oh, Grant Telp, who had the interception of Jordan Love that led to the the Browns win and for that we thank you. Uh limited with a back issue, he’ll be fine. Uh same thing with Michael Hall Jr. the second round defensive tackle as well as uh tight end David and Jooku. I think Ajoku is going to get traded probably. Free Fannon. There you go. And for the Vikings. So there there’s a lot to sort through. Now, this is m there there’s a lot of players who aren’t going to play against the Browns, but they’re listed on the injury report because they have to be because they’re not on injured reserve where ideally they’re going to be back after the buy against Philly. Perhaps maybe later in that, who knows, man. But the So, full participants, let’s go over that first. Tyler Batty, CJ Ham on their 21-day return to practice window off injured reserve. Uh they do not count against the 53 until they’re activated. I feel like they actually both could play uh on Sunday. So, they have to be activated and then roster shuffling on Saturday. Xavier Scott also full participant with a knee. So, listen with a knee. Uh the the pride of Maine, that’s Maine, baby, coming off of his uh first career uh touchdown in the NFL, which is great. Remember, he had an ankle at the end of training camp. Now he’s listed with a knee, but full participant, good to go. And then DNP’s Darasaw got his scheduled day off, which is good. Uh, and also not note that Harrison Smith hasn’t been listed on the injury report for two weeks in a row, which is fantastic. Jackson, who we know is going to be out with the wrist surgery, ideally going to be back week seven against the Eagles. Uh, Jurgens with a hamstring. So, yet another offensive line issue. Now, Kevin Okonnell did say that he hoped to get Jurgens uh back at practice at some point this week, probably Friday. I feel like if Jurgens is even limited on Friday with a hamstring did have a sleeve on it today, I think that he would go. If not, Blake Brandle, who has zero career snaps at center, either regular season, preseason, or college, could be center. I don’t know at this point, man. Uh JJ McCarthy or excuse me, Ryan Kelly, a DMP with a concussion. Don’t expect him this week. Maybe not even after the buy. Uh JJ McCarthy. Uh so Kevin McConnell had said that they’re ramping up him in practice. Uh ideally going to be seeing the field on Thursday or Friday. Would love to see that. Brian O’Neal uh with the MCL sprain. Not going to play this week. Uh but of course not on injured reserve which is good. Hopefully have him back. Eagles game. Maybe Chargers game. Yeah. Andrew Venko dealing with a neck. Uh he DMPD. He’s already been ruled out for Sunday. Isn’t going to practice this week. Ends up on IR. Maybe, maybe not. Who knows? Uh Ben Urisk. uh who missed last week with a knee issue. DNP again on Wednesday. Something to monitor. And that’s it. Like so many injuries so early in the season, but ideally knocking on all the wood. This team will get healthy and start making a run. That’s what we have to bank on right now. And you can’t enjoy sweetness without the sour. I think Confucious said that or something. I don’t know. Anyways, that’s it. That’s a Vikings Browns first injury report. Let us know your thoughts comment section. You guys are the best. You know what to do. Skull production value.

  1. And another thang! How did The Ginger Giant connect with Addison for an Immaculate Connection and then have WHITEY chase him down like a damn Cheetah! C’mong Meng!! Dat a fast white boy.

  2. Geez, is it just overly cautious decisions on these players? The injuries are crazy this year, we have a hard ass schedule coming up, going to have to play through some of these minor injuries. Where's the toughness on this team?

  3. Thanks for the update Andy! 👍BTW, what's up with Rouse? He couldn't play on Sunday in support of a seriously depleted O-line, but he has no injury designation on Wednesday?🤔
