Connie Fox in a big spot!
Got the Pats ML at +300. I know im biased as a Pats fan, but ive got a feeling about this one.
Honestly, I’d feel really good about a 1 score loss that felt like a close game, especially if we aren’t blaming turnovers or penalties for the L.
Buffalo *should* win this game. They are the superior team. But they are dealing with a few injuries and honestly haven’t looked untouchable.
This is the first time in a long time where you could make a case for the Patriots to win in a clean game. It should be a close game. A turnover or Maye turning into full Tom Brady and I could see a win.
I can’t argue with this prediction board.
I think we can have a good game, it’s going to be closer than what people some think imo. Divisional games are almost always competitive in our division. Gonzo made a great impact on the D and the offense looks like they are pulling it together. I think it’s going to be within 7 and if we are somehow going to eeek out a win it’s by three. This is all pulled out of my ass but I’ve been liking the grit not to sound too stereotypical.
Hope she’s right. A win like this could be the tide turner for how people view the Pats and Drake within the NFL.
The Bills goofed off vs the Saints and got away with it, if they aren’t on their game this week no doubt the Pats can pull this one out. Either way should be a close competitive divisional game.
Buffalo is obviously a great team, but they are still a very beatable team. Mayo and Covington actually coached a really good game in their first matchup last season and held Allen and the offense to just 17 points after multiple weeks of scoring 30+ at will, it was those 3 consecutive turnovers that killed them.
The Saints had a chance to win last week. If only they hadn’t tried a trick play only to have Olave throw an interception…
I dont know even know who half these people including Colleen are but I do like that everyone but Bucky has them scoring at least 20 points. I dont expect a Patriots upset but I want them to at least be competitive.
Depends heavily on the availability of Matt Milano and Ed Oliver, those two guys completely transform the Bills defense.
That being said, anything is on the table. I’d actually feel more comfortable if we were in a better spot, instead of coming off a massive blowout victory.
My heart says Patriots, my head says 30-21 Bills or something like that, but again, a lot of that comes down to the availability of Milano and Oliver. If both of those guys are out, we have a chance.
I always find these so funny. If you look at the spread, or FPI, or DVOA, or any other prediction system, it’s going to give NE about 1/3 chance to win. But then the predictions by humans are 90% to the favorite. I wonder how these guys do lifetime, because they’re almost certainly not picking enough upsets.
The situation for Pats games is pretty simple, especially given their reluctance to explore downfield explosive plays: if they don’t turn it over they win, if they turn it over they lose.
So, if they can play mistake-free football I really do think they can pull off the upset, and the upshot is Buffalo has been middle of the pack in forcing turnovers so far.
Who’s ready to see Craig Woodson and Jalynn Hawkins give up a combined five TD?
Buffalo has played 4 teams who have a combined total of 2 wins. And one of those wins is only because the dolphins and jets played each other last week and someone had to win.
They’re better than the Pats right now, I think. But they haven’t played real competition except the ravens…who are 1-3 and might have a truly terrible defense.
Nobody believes in us. Hell, I don’t believe in us. I just hope we are competitive.
This defense can’t get off to a slow start. They need to set the tone early. Spy Josh with Mapu.
I think this is a very winnable game for the Pats. Bills are literally just Allen and Cook right now.
The fact that no one has us getting blown out shows some huge gains in public perception around the team. You usually don’t see huge swings like that, but people still temper those super bowls I guess
