  2. Local Chicago news in shambles about how the Cubs couldn’t get anything going at all yesterday and frankly most of game 1. They keep showing Manny almost blasting it out and Miller painting 104 since there are literaly no Cubs highlights lol.

  3. Welp, we’ve made it a series which is great. We’ve had plenty of dropped game 1 only to win the series all season, so this isn’t new to us.

    Hope Yu has his good stuff. Cubs hitters do NOT have good numbers against him, but of course anything is possible in the playoffs. We need excellence from the pitchers (which have already been excellent), and the hitters really need to have a strong showing today. They’ve been milquetoast at best the last two games. Really need them showing out tonight.

    Excited either way. We’ve had a great season, and I’d hate for it to end already but I can honestly say I’m happy with where we are at considering all the injuries we’ve had to deal with this year. The next few years are still bright.

    That being said.. since we are already here in October, we might as well just keep fucking winning. For Peter.

  4. Let’s get this W, let’s prove the media and the masses wrong. Game 1 was the “shake off the jitters and juju from last post season off” game, today we go. We will be playing the brew crew and we will win that too. LFGSD

  5. Taillon’s last 3 games have been deep and dominant (19 innings 2 total runs). Meaning today will be a great test for our boys. Beat this guy and they’ll send a strong message. LFGSD!! Crush the Cubbies!

  7. Well this is it guys. One team is going to Milwaukee and the other is headed to Cancun. Bats gotta come out swinging and Darvish needs to lock tf in. This team really doesn’t want to go home and that’s at least pretty encouraging.

  8. The dream would be for the bats to show up today and rest Miller and Morejon. These guys can’t be driven into the ground or they will burn out before we even reach the NLDS lol.
