*The whole team any time they see a high fastball on any count
Earlier in the year any comments on his wild-ass swings were downvoted to hell. He’s not facing bums now
Javy reincarnate.
Hey now, sometimes he pops out to right or hits to the right infielder for an easy out.
I love the kid, but his flaws are so obvious and easily exploited. I hope he can figure it out.
If PCA was a tall as Ohtani, then go right ahead. He’s not, so stop going after high fast balls. Force them to pitch you in the strike zone.
Highest swing rate in the majors. Might be something to work on.
Don’t forget a 55 foot breaking ball down and in!
I truly believe PCA will grow beyond this approach at the plate. Next year he will walk more, he will have more mlb experience. He’s time and time again show he can make adjustments and put in the work. I’m not worried.
Or a pitch about to hit his right foot
Or one in the dirt.
Or a slider in the dirt….
He looks clueless out there right now.
And then like clockwork followed by the cocked back bat throw at the dish. Sometimes not even on an inning ending strikeout
It was pretty bad when they walked Kelly intentionally to put 2 men on in a 1 run game because they knew they’d get PCA out
Why are we making fun of him? He’s like 23.
Can I just remind y’all that he’s the first Cub to get 30-30-30? Quit hating on the kid who is making major contributions.
Pitchers definitely figured him out at the AS break.

Or any first pitch, to be honest
He does that in ANY count and always has.
