Yeah, I thought we worked really hard tonight. Um, we had a good game plan going into it and uh we talked about our effort level and and reloading hard and being aggressive and I thought we did that well tonight. Two goals on the power play, six penalties killed and even a short-handed goal tonight. What did you see from special teams? Yeah, on the power play I think uh we’re we’re getting in uh pretty good and uh we’re snapping it around and moving the puck quick. I think that’s key and and then getting pucks to the net. So, I think that’s a positive and something to build on. And then on the PK uh I think we’re we’re staying aggressive. we’re staying in our structure and systems and working together and communicating. So, it’s uh worked well tonight, but we got to keep it going. What does a win like this do in terms of just confidence as you head towards that regular season? It should give us a lot of confidence. I think uh it shows that when we put the effort in and the and the determination, I think it uh really shows what we can do and uh the chances we can create out there. So, um you know, I think it was a step in the right direction and we got to build off it now. And I got to ask Kevin Lan in that behind you. I mean, the confidence you must have in him. Yeah, you know, I think there’s a couple times that he made some big saves where they could have maybe snuck back into the game, but um you know, he’s been awesome for us and uh no surprise there. Well, it seemed like you guys had control of this game from the beginning. What did you see from the guys in front of you tonight? Yeah, really a really fun game. I think we played excellent in many different areas like our straight line rushes and our Dzone, our penalty kill, everything was on point. So, it was a it was a good night for the boys. You were just locked in Lanken in tonight as well. 20 29 saves for yourself. Where’s your performance at as we kind of inch closer to that regular season? Yeah, I feel good. I feel confident. I put in the work. I feel better than ever, stronger than ever. And uh we’ve we had plenty of time with our goalie coach and uh and Demer to work our game and and I feel like we’re we’re in a good spot and it’s it’s nice to get these preseason games to get the get the feeling, but at the same time, you know, we’re still aiming for that home opener and and getting ready for that. I had to ask Garland this when he came back after having a kid. So, I got to ask you, do you have a little bit of that new dad power when you step out onto the ice after having a newborn? Yeah, 100%. You know, it’s it’s the best thing in the world. I’m I’m so proud of my wife how how she handled it all and and uh it’s been quite a quite a week at home. Uh just learning and adapting and getting to know the little little guy. But I couldn’t be happier. Well, congratulations on both the win and the new board. Thank you very much. Well, that’s got to be a fun one. Your thoughts on the team’s performance in the big win? Thought it was great. We came out ready to play. played with speed and uh we got contributions from everybody. Uh our D were up in the play. We got, you know, goals from three of our defenseman and uh thought we managed the game pretty well. You know, always some slip ups when you have a a decentsized lead, but uh we were very happy with it. Like you said, you got some spread out scoring there. Six different guys getting goals tonight. What does that say about the depth of this team as you inch towards that regular season? I I think it’s been it’s good. It’s uh you know we’ve we’ve got some young guys that have really stepped up. Obviously the guys that that went through the whole Abbottzford run last year. Uh their game has so far looked like it’s gone to another level which we were really hoping for. So uh hopefully that continues. You guys are obviously fine tuning right now. So how pleasing is it to see the the special teams perform like that especially the penalty kill on a night like tonight? You know the special teams has been really good. Our coaches have done a great job with that. Um we’ve looked in sync. We look like we have chemistry. Uh in practice it’s been really good. So we’re really not too surprised to see that tonight because in practice it’s been excellent. So uh yeah, good to see it continued. You talked about some of the young guys. What about Achu Rachu tonight, especially in the faceoff circle? Oh, he was really he was so good in the faceoff circle and we got some good chances off it. You know, a couple we we missed nets on or or maybe we passed up a shot, but uh the opportunities were there. really strong in the circle. Cassan, that line uh has huge chemistry from last year playing right to the, you know, to the championship. So, uh, yeah, they’re they’re all performing very
