Got prime time football. Ladies and gentlemen, this is Griffin Murphy from docsports.com coming at you with a free Thursday Night Football matchup. This game is between the San Francisco 49ers and the Los Angeles Rams. Let’s jump right into this breakdown before we get any further. So, we’ve got the San Francisco Ners coming off 49ers coming off a very interesting, I will say, loss to Jacksonville in their most recent matchup outright. And that matchup was at home in San Fran. Now, we’ve got the LA Rams currently 3-1 on the season at home in this one. current uh line in this matchup is at five and a half which is very interesting. So Brock Pury will be getting the start once again. He does look healthy. He is playing better I will say now in his most recent matchup after that dealing with Jacksonville. Looking at this game though right now I’m just going to say this. This LA Rams team, they’re one of the best football teams when it comes to covering the spread, let alone and competitiveness. This team is just very good. Very good spot at the quarterback spot with Matthew Stafford. This guy just leads this charge. Very competitive, physical guy. When he gets banged up, doesn’t matter. keeps rolling with it. Very good offense from this uh Los Angeles Rams team, I will say. But again, looking at this game, the San Francisco 49ers, they rely heavily on the defensive side, and I know Jacksonville was able to take it to him offensively, but they have a very different run game than this 49ers offense does. I know McCaffrey’s in the back, but ETN for Jacksonville, he’s a different back. He’s more a little bit more explosive, fast, little speedy, agility type of guy where McAffrey is kind of in that same boat, but at the same time, he’s not. He just hasn’t really exceeded yet this season. McCaffry’s only got 225 yards on the ground this year with 3.25 average per carry, which is not good whatsoever. So, looking at this game right now, it’s an interesting one because that line spread currently sitting at 5 and a half. This is a prime time speculated game. We have to go strictly off the number. Do I believe the Rams are a touchdown better than this team? Absolutely. But due to this number, I can’t back them at home in this game. Got a 49ers team coming off a revenge spot. bad game in their most recent matchup. So, you know, they’re going to come into this one pissed off. It’s not a far travel for them, obviously, in California for both of these teams. So, ladies and gentlemen, we’re going to go back door on this one. We’re going to take the San Francisco 49ers as I believe they get the cover just based off of this spread rolling into SoFi playing one of the best covering teams in all of football. I’m just not buying it here. I’m going the other way. I like the Niners here. And I think Pertie gets it done with this offense. And I think McCaffrey has himself one of these explosive games that we’ve been waiting for all season long. So, we’re going to take the plus five and a half.
