I have been a big Mikkola fan since he broke into the league and thought we really made a mistake letting him go, but never in my wildest dreams did I think he’d ever seen something like an 8×5.0M. Good on him.
Glad to see he’s getting a payday. I’ll always root for former Blues in the show.
Good for him. When he was on the Blues he legitimately couldn’t handle/pass the puck and I’ll admit I wanted him gone. He’s since fixed those issues and has turned into a huge contributor to the Panthers success. Hope he keeps it up
Broberg and Holloway are gonna command a lot of cap space. I hope the blues will have enough to get it done when that time comes.
I dunno why people are using this as a comparable for Holloway. McTavish is a closer one, except he’s younger and plays a more valuable position at Center. Plus this is buying all UFA years and Broberg is still RFA. I think their contracts will be a bit more reasonable than people are expecting. I’m not saying they’ll be steals, but I think they’ll be lower than this sub’s expectations
