Don’t his last 9 healthy games include 5 from last season?
I wonder how he’s been in the comeback, he is still great from what I’ve seen just curious on stats
You realize that includes the 5 games last season before he got hurt, right?
Im as big an Aidan stan as there is, but show me his 4 games this year…and I’ll bite
he was looking slow first 2 weeks. I think the sack week 2 re unleashed the monster
Intentionally misleading? I think so, I love Aiden but gotta downvote this
This post is dumb because it includes 5 games from last year…. The early gripe about Hutch was he wasn’t playing great THIS year, after his injury. And he did look a little slow weeks 1 & 2. I figured he was probably going 70%, easing in after the injury. He has looked like a complete animal since… same old Hutch. Stud. But this post doesn’t paint the correct picture to correspond to the ‘haters’ narrative
Lol including games pre-injury is just stupid. He looked slow the first two weeks but he’s turning it back around. I’m all about the Lions but blind faith and cherry picking stats is low-level-packers-fan behavior.
I want everyone to play better every week so they can win a Super Bowl. Even Dan Campbell’s locker room speech said to celebrate the win all week, but that their performance was not good enough.
This is cherry picking the number of back up tackles he’s feasted on. I’d rather see the last 9 healthy games he’s played against starting tackles. If it’s similar, I’ll happily tell you “You were right.”
I don’t think he’s healthy now, so the last 2-3 games shouldn’t be included. He was limping pretty considerably last Sunday on the sideline.
Hutch is good enough we don’t need to cherry pick stats and use useless ones from previous seasons. His play shows he’s elite
Nobody said that. Stupid post and what’s wrong with reddit in general.
Against backup tackles. He needs to do this against a pro bowl level tackle literally just once, and this narrative will end. We’ll see what happens
I think the haters are calling him a “1st trick pony”
4 sacks and two forced fumbles after 4 games, what an absolute SLUMP
Lol
Hutch is awesome and this post is trash
Cmon OP, it’s pretty clear he’s not QUITE to where he was in 2024. Including those games is cheating.
Hutch does not get a sack on every play so he is obviously a bust.
Are the weirdos in the room with us right now?
I love Hutch, but posting a cherry picked stat like this is just fucking silly and does nothing to strengthen OP’s implied argument.
More than half the sample size being from before his leg snapped in two is dumb as fuck.
People weren’t questioning him before the injury. It’s a question of how he can bounce back after the fact.
And I think he’s done well enough for us to not stupidly inflate it with stuff like this.
Dude, the shit I read on the game thread was infuriating. Bunch of dummies saying “where’s hutch?”
If you don’t know ball, shut the fuck up.
He’s been playing great but I don’t think we’ve seen his ceiling.
If you are trying to push back against “Hutch needs to be better” including any numbers before this season makes it look like you are purposefully manipulating the data. Just look at what he has done this season for the same stat categories.
Last season is history. He got off to a slow start this season after being hyped into oblivion during the offseason. I have never doubted him but it wasn’t unreasonable to expect more out of him prior to week 3.
DAWG.
“Strawman” – Whatever this argument you are making is
This can’t be true, all the national broadcast announcers say he isn’t anything to fear now. Tom Brady says the guys from Baltimore are better.
