Why is Perez batting 3rd? I’m not trying to shit talk. I’m confused
I don’t understand playing Wenceel still, let alone batting him 3rd

Is it crazy that I would rather have Baez batting 3rd over Perez? He’s been our only hitter coming up with clutch hits for the last 2 weeks
Seems like moving Baez into the 3 spot makes logical sense at least with his play in this series… but what do I know lol

i am confused how one of the better hitters on this team has had 1 AB in 2 games when offensive production has been so shit.

Wenceel is like 5 for his last 56 or something like that. He shouldn’t be batting above 6th
It sure is a cushion job being AJ. He can do stuff like bat Perez third and if Perez has a couple hits then….aj is playing chess. If Perez adds an 0-4 to his last 5-60 while hitting third, it’s the players.
If these are the guys you’re riding with, I think I’d bat McKinstry first. At least he works the count and has speed if he gets on. Gleyber-Carp means you probably need three hits or a homer to score early. There is no chance of scrapping out a run.
Here’s the benefit: either way this game goes – we won’t have to play that god forsaken team again until May 18th, 2026.
Guys, look on the bright side. Lions play Sunday, and the Wings&Pistons seasons are starting soon.
