Australian Pelicans fans react to open practice | NBA x NBL Melbourne Series 10/2/2025
It’s awesome. First time they’ve touched Australian soil, so would never want to miss a chance on seeing them live. I just come and watch the Pelicans. I’ve been a big fan of them ever since I was leaders. Uh, by now I think they can go far. I think they can go far in the playoffs with the team they got now. They’ve really built up their team in the offseason. So, I feel like they can go far. Yeah, I’m a huge Pelicans fan. It’s always been my dream to see them in real life. I’ve been a Pel fan since 2015 and man, just been through so much, but I just can’t imagine myself with another team. You know what I’m saying? So, I love it, man. It’s my pels, man. I’m hoping I can catch someone’s attention on the team. Low key, it’s a dream come true seeing these guys, man. Honestly, I’m a huge Pelicans fan. I was a fan when they were the Hornets on this team right now. Well, I love Derek Queen. I love the I love the upside Demarcus Cousins vibes is what I’m getting from him. Um, yeah, but I love the championship pedigree we got now with Kevon and JP. It’s really cool. I want to I want to see Eve go at it. He was touching balls on top of the backboard just before. So, I want to see how how he gets up in real life. It’s going to be really cool. But I just met Jordan P. And I reckon I’m a Pelicans fan now. I love Jordan P, bro. He was so nice. He’s so tough, bro. He’s so shifty. Like, if there’s girls in the sands, you know, he’s going to go off. Love San Zion every week. Love seeing him dunk. Went to New Orleans in 2016 and saw about three or four games at the Smoothie King Center and ever since then, we’ve been watching him. Not him. He’s the youngest obviously followed him before over the last 10 years. See the team change a lot and evolve over the years. It’s been been a good team to watch and it’s just awesome to have an NBA team finally come out to Melbourne and I can finally watch some big players like Zion and JP. I’m a big fan of Jeremiah Fears actually. Really excited to see him play, see how he goes. I don’t know. I’ve got to go between Herb Jones or Trey Murphy. They’re both great players. I love Trey’s um shooting and Herb’s defense is just incredible.
