Probably makes more sense to have one of the other Abby guys (Karlsson/Sasson/Bains) on that 4th line instead of Lekki, but otherwise I like those lines.

I really liked the Kane – Cootes – Lekkerimaki line. Would rather see a 4th line of O’Connor – Blueger – Sherwood line. But that leaves Raty out. Lekk probably starting in Abby and called up for injury.

I dont know about putting Raty on the wing, hes a much better FO guy than Cootes.

Wait! Is aman really playing d today? I know it’s just bottom of the line stuff but I find players who can pull that off interesting. I assume, correct me if I’m wrong, but such a player must provide some in game versatility in case of injury. I’d like to see it.

O’Connor on the 3rd line instead of lekk would be very strange to me and doesn’t seem to play to Lekk’s strengths at all especially given his apparent chemistry with Cootes so far

I’m actually very confused how our team is so deep. Wish we could run 5 FWD lines and 4 D Pairs every night.
Most things here are well and good enough. That being said I do not want to see Lekki on a 4th line. If he isn’t playing with Chytil and Kane don’t bother having him up yet because he obviously won’t look good with Blueger as a center. He’s a top 6 skillset and needs to be used as such, especially with how he’s played so far.
Lekk down to fourth line. Not thrilled about that, he should get a top 6 shot with Hoglander out imo.

I wonder if they give a good look at that Bains/Sasson/Karlsson line for the last games in the preseason as it was so good in the AHL playoffs

Doc Cootes Sherwood is a real thing again and I am excited

Centre position is a huge issue
Lekkerimaki, Sherwood and Garland are all interchangeable on the right side there. Same with Bains, O’Connor and Raty.
Will be interesting to see open night roster and how we cycle through players.
