Here’s Reasonz and Neil. What is good, Finn Nation? What’s good? It’s your boy Reasonz and we are back here for another one. Appreciate all of y’all for coming through. Just a quick programming note. Yes, yesterday when I was live doing the all 22 stream got suspended, then it got terminated. Then I got a copyright strike from the NFL. Well, warning. So, um, if I get a first strike, I literally can’t post for like a week. So, um, all 22 videos are now going to be static videos that are going to release on Tuesday. those will no longer be live just to avoid that situation at least for the next 90 days. All right, so just a heads up on a little bit of a programming change thanks to what happened yesterday. But um Neil, that just continued a bad week after a win that started off with the Dolphins losing Tyreek Hill for the season. and he probably played his last snap as a Miami Dolphin unless he’s willing to come back for pennies on the dollar next year. Um, man, how you feeling after the Jets first, sorry, the first win of the season for the Dolphins where they forced their first defensive turnovers of the season, but again, it came at a massive cost. Yeah. No, look, I I I Tyreek off the field. I’m not a big fan of Tyreek the football player. He’s one of the best that’s put on our uniform in a very long time. Uh, you know, and to be honest, he was being a pretty good soldier this year. Uh, despite some adversity. So, horrific injury. Um, I do think Tyreek’s probably played his final snap in Miami because that contract is an albatross that gives them the most cap flexibility next year. I think it’s 38 million in savings. you know, potentially maybe if he’s willing to work on a one-year cheap pro tape deal, you know, I I wouldn’t close that door. I mean, but I I think you need a contingency plan, but you know, they they say the old thing, you know, next man up. I’m actually really excited to see what Jaylen Wadd can do now that he’s been thrusted into that position because I think a lot of us think he’s been held back in Miami maybe because he’s been the robin to Tyreek’s Batman and uh I think you know that’s a good opportunity for Wald to go out there and sees sees you know the number one spot on this team but it did suck but I’ll say beating the Jets is always fun. Uh it you know it’s nice to get a win under our belt. Uh, you know, it’s funny though, me being negative, I would the first thing I thought of is like, damn, if we would have just won that damn New England game, we would have been two and two with the Carolina Panthers neck on the docket, you know? So, that that Patriots late loss still stings. But yeah, man, prayers to Tyreek though. I do think it’s pretty amazing like how he handled it, how he’s yelling at the team to go get a win. Like, you know, I whatever drug he was on, I need some of that in my life. thought they picked me up because man, him clapping like that going out after that injury was kind of cool to see. But you know, look, you don’t have to like Tyreek. He’s a badass dude. He’s tough as [ __ ] Tyreek’s always been a badass. That’s who he is. And you know, he made the catch, moved the chains, and I’ll tell you what, man, he was running some really nice routes in that game, too. So, we’re definitely going to miss him on the back half of the season. And you know, if that is his last snap, I do think a thank you is in order for everything that he did here because man, he’s been electric here. Um, but isn’t that so Dolphins? George Rabber asks, “Do you think we could still trade Tyreek Hill?” That’s clearly off the table, but that was something that was on the table. You know, if things went south before the trade deadline, that’s now off the table. Um, and now the Dolphins have, you know, one of the top wide receiver assets in the NFL and that has gone by the wayside. I mean, isn’t it just so Dolphins right now that just, you know, even when they win, they can’t catch a break? It is because I I I think if if the trade deadline, the Dolphins weren’t where where they wanted to be, a departure with Tyreek made a lot of sense for everybody. And you know, I think there’s probably a lot of Kansas City Chief personnel right now that aren’t happy about what happened there, right? So, it’s like it it is so Dolphins because you know, if he’s on your team, you want him out there because Tyreek Hill at one of your receiver positions put you in a better chance to win when he’s than he’s not. But in the bad scenario that the Dolphins don’t win any games now, you know, you just potentially took a a third round pick off the table potentially. Uh so, you know, I do think it’s a big loss uh in more ways than one. It is. So, dolphins, you know, Indian burial ground, whatever that curse is, man, it does seem to like always strike us. Uh, even in good moments, there’s a huge cloud hanging over us. Um, do you see this team making any trades? Because I don’t see them making any trades in, but do you think this could be a thing where over the next couple weeks, because the trade deadines at the beginning of November, over the next couple weeks, if things go a little south that they could be shipping bodies out of here? I I think they should be prepared to do it. They won’t do it until they know that they’re done. And they’re not done just yet, right? Like, you know, I I don’t think they’re going to make a big run, but look, they’re going to they’re going to win Sunday. They’re going to be two and three come next Monday. They’re not losing to that Carolina team. So, they’re not I I think at the deadline, I’d watch one of the pass rushers. I think Phillips is a name that I would circle and star where, you know, he’s on his fifth year option. He needs money. I I I think the Dolphins could move him, but we’ll see because like they tend to think they have better odds than a lot of us do. And then the other name I’d watch is Ma Fitzpatrick. I just don’t know. You know, they guaranteed his money to keep him content for this year. They don’t have a lot of guarantee money with him in the future. You know, could you fetch a third round pick for a for a Minka Fitzpatrick? I mean, he’s been good, not great here. Um, it doesn’t, you know, that dark cloud that’s been kind of hanging over us for the last few weeks. I don’t think one thing I haven’t got felt like I really got a chance to appreciate Mick Fitzpatrick much even though he recovered a fumble the other night. Right. It just it doesn’t have I guess the same magnitude of him being here the first time to me right now. But I could see it I could see him being a guy on the outs. Yeah, I think Jaylen Phillips makes a lot of sense to people because clearly at this rate you’re not going to pay the guy. All right. No chance. No chance. You shouldn’t you shouldn’t pay him. It’s the same so Holland Wilkins situation all over again. Like I I like Jaylen Phillips and I actually thought at one point we had the verge of having like our next JT guy. Like not to the level of Jason Taylor, but like we had him then we had Cam Wakeake. I thought he was going to be that like next guy. He just he couldn’t stay healthy and he never reached that potential. He’s kind of like the quote the great Jesse Body the Ventura for you wrestling fans. Close but no cigar. That’s what I always thought about Jaylen Phillips. It was always close but he didn’t get there. And then another name man to keep an eye on was Bradley Chub. I mean he’s the second biggest cap savings we get from moving on from a contract after this year uh behind um Tyreek. He’s got three sacks on the season. You know, those sacks kind of tell half the story. don’t think he’s necessarily played great in other downs, but teams like the Eagles, the Ravens, they they need pass rushers and if you could get a fifth round pick for a Bradley job, it might be a move worth making if you are at the deadline, you know, their buy is after the deadline, right? So, it’s like they’ll know where they stay. They they’ll have, you know, what’s that, eight, nine games under their belt. We’ll know where they stand. So, I just hope Chris Greer, you know, Chris Greer does seem stubborn sometimes to make moves to give up players for picks. He doesn’t have problem giving up picks for players, but it seems like the other way sometimes he’s hesitant to do so. Let me ask you this. So, we’re talking about the all this trade talk and them beating Carolina this week. Are they kind of at a crossroads right now in terms of, you know, you got to figure out whether you’re going to be all in and make a push or you got to figure out whether you are going to back out and you you’re going to play for the draft kind of and I don’t want to use the word tanking, but I mean you got a month until the trade deadline. You’re one and three already four games in. Expectations haven’t been anywhere close to what they were. you just coming off beating a bad team. You’re going to face another bad team. Are two bad teams making this team two and three potentially going to make them go down the wrong path when it comes to those crossroads we’re talking about? Is it going to give them a false sense of hope that oh my god, we got a chance here when reality is after you’re done with the Carolina Panthers with how this front seven looks. You got the Los Angeles Chargers who are Mario and Hampton is doing really good right now. You got the Cleveland Browns with Quan Judkins. You got Atlanta with Tyler Algier and Bjan Robinson. You got Baltimore with Derrick Henry. And then you got Buffalo with James Cook. Um, you know, and we’ve seen how bad this run defense is. You know, uh, like I’ve been saying, this these six games are really they’re either going to sink or they’re going to learn to play good, consistent football and they’re going to swim. But do you think they’re kind of at a crossroads right now? Yeah. And the GM is pro and coach could potentially be coaching for their jobs, right? So if you do go and give up all these assets, like if you traded Philips, Chub, and Minka to a defense that’s already disappointed, you know, to magnificent levels, I I mean, you know, you could be co you could be transacting your way out of a position. So like I feel like they’re going to be hesitant to do so. They’re the team last year that could have had an extra fourth round pick in the draft, but they said, “Let’s keep Kas Gamble if we don’t remember.” So like I I think that, you know, they don’t see it the way I see it. at least. And I don’t know if I see it like most, I think the Dolphins are a team that they need a new identity. They need big change and they need to develop everything going forward through the draft. I think that they view themselves as a team that could still sneak sneak in as the seven seed in the playoffs. And you know what I’ll say to counter my own thinking is if we see the team that we saw against Buffalo, they have some more wins coming on the schedule, right? But to your point, man, this defense, what a lot of people said the Dolphins had a top 10 defensive line. Jack Jones and Russul Douglas have been better than anybody that’s playing defensive on our defensive front. Our crappy corners that were paying Jason Sanders more than both of them combined to be on this football team right now are outplaying that pass rush trio of Chop, Phillips, and Chub. And and I’ll I’ll say this though, like you know, and everyone jumps to massive conclusions like you know, Chop’s a bust again. Man, if that guy’s not paying majority of your snaps on defense, shame on the defensive coordinator. 68 over the first four games. Yeah. Robinson playing 68 snaps over the first four games is malpractice. Where I thought Phillips and Chub coming back was going to be what enhanced them. our front office and our personnel decisions are that Chub and Phillips give us a better chance to win. And it’s just it scratches my head. You got to let the young guys play. But they think they know, man. You know, they they quite whenever we question anything the offensive line, we’re wrong. We’re wrong. We’ll see. They’re going to either sink or swim. But man, that defense, we’re lucky that the Jets are an undisiplined mess, that they’re an absolute dumpster fire of a franchise because Brilin Allen was taking that ball in for a touchdown and fumbled, but good teams could probably have found a way to fight back in that game. The Jets just don’t know what they’re doing. they they’re yeah they’re at a crossroads because what’s the right decision is the decision that doesn’t benefit the people in the building the most and that leads to that decision not happening. So yeah, I think they are at a crossroads and it’s going to be interesting to see how it plays out. You know, we were chopping up a little bit before like what what happens in the future here, right? Like I I’ll say this. I want change, but I’m not ignorant enough to know that the head coaching candidate list out there, the way it stands right now, we could talk about Harbaugh and the Ravens and Tom and Steelers, but the way it looks right now, it’s not pretty, right? Like there’s not it’s not pretty. And the list of quarterbacks that are available in free agency is null and void. Daniel Jones seems like he came down to earth, right? And I like a lot of the quarterback prospects, but I don’t love them. And the goal is to upgrade at quarterback, not make a lateral move. I love Lenor Celler’s traits. Your guy Dante Moore was a cold-blooded assassin late against Penn State. I do like Mendoza’s big arm. Those are really the only three were Edmmond. Yeah, I’m not sure that any of them are going to be a better pro than to a tongue, man. And I’m just being honest. And like that might not be popular and you got to take the chance and swing, but what I do know is in 2027 the quarterback class looks a lot better. Yeah. In 2028 it looks a lot better. Class 202 looking like the So like I hate to say it and everyone’s like, “No, you’re an idiot. You got to do things right away.” You got to make decisions based off what’s in front of you when it’s time to make the decision. You can’t just move off of a quarterback or a coach because you want to. Like I like Tua’s going to be on this team next year. he’s going to be on this team as a starter or so let me ask you this because to his contract is going to keep him on this team. I’ve been vocal. If you’re not going back, I want Thano or Moy Goa. I want a right tackle. But if you have a shot at him, wouldn’t that kind of be an ideal situation for Lenor Sellers to at least have him sit for a year behind a guy like Tu? Especially a guy who ball placement, timing throws, accuracy are his strengths and his pocket presence is a strength. That’s where Lenor Sers needs to grow a little bit as a passer. Obviously, wouldn’t that kind of be an ideal situation? Not for two, but for the team. Well, I think in the worst or the best case scenario, the highest I see the Dolphins be able to select is four, right? And if everything goes wrong, you know, the Jets are not going to win more games than the Dolphins. The Saints are going to do it. And the Tennessee Titans, I don’t want to write anyone’s care. Cam Ward and the Titans look awful. They look awful. They look like they’re going to be either selecting Ruben Bane with the first overall pick or be a trade partner for someone trying to move up for a quarterback. I I do think that there’s a strong chance though that the emergence of a Dante Moore might, you know, I I had heard privately that he was leaning towards the Oregon, but this is before he got maybe potential top five hype, right? Like he’s getting that type of love. Mendoza is skyrocketing based off of some of his performances. He’s got big games coming up against Ohio State, Penn State, Maryland that he could really cement himself as a top prospect. I think the guy that’s going to be there is actually Lenor Sellers. The more I think about it, I’m worried that he might go back to school, but I I he he’s the quarterback. If I could have my pick of the litter today, I’d take because I love his skill set. Now, there’s a lot of poaching that needs to be done there. It is not It is like Tayen Green. Same with Gary Nusmeire. Same with a lot of this class. 100% man. Like, like I I I am frustrated with Tua Tong Aloa and his injuries. Let’s not get crazy and act like two is a shitty quarterback, right? Like let’s let’s say that he’s probably fallen to that 16 to 20 range versus where he was a couple years ago. Yeah. But but we’ve had Jay Feler leading this team. We’ve had a lot worse. Like it it’s one of those things. I want a new quarterback. I am saying that. But I’m not doing it just to do it. And I thought I thought Tua played very efficient. And if he’s going to be nothing more than a highlevel game manager, you can win football games with that, but your expectations need to follow. We’re going to see what I think is the theory that I’ve been pushing for over a year and a half. I think the Miami Dolphins are a better football team uh as a complete football team, not just an offense, when Tyreek Hill’s not on that roster for this reason. I think Tua is going to spread the ball around more. I think you’re going to see young players like Malik Washington get a chance. Dude, kudos to Darren Waller for I was gonna ask you, give me your thoughts on Darren Waller in his debut. And I think you’re kind of right here. I think didn’t you notice McDaniel actually called a pretty good game without Tyreek and two executed three games in a row, right? Like McDaniel has been much better. He he’s been a better coach. Give me your thoughts on Waller. I was going to ask you this, so you segueed into it. So we talk about Odell Beckham and we all a lot of people thought that. I was pretty excited when we traded for him and I got a lot of push back on it and I’m not trying to take a victory left because I think I gotta see take it bro because I had my doubts. I want to see it on a consistent basis but like what he did in this game is exactly what I thought he could do is bring red zone presence. Like one thing that people do not give Tua enough leeway on is that we fundamentally lack red zone targets here. like our touchdowns and Wadd and and and Hill scored a lot of touchdowns when our offense is flying, but it’s nice for a quarterback to have a target that can go up get it. That was on Sauce Gardner, right? Like I know I don’t think Sauce is as good as people think he is, but I still think he’s a 10 to 15 best corner in football. Waller, that was beautiful getting his foot down. I as much as I like the two touchdowns early in that game that on that third down when he caught that ball and moved the chains, what a great route, dude. like he’s a little he’s physical with Yeah. He’s physical with those DBs. He uses his size and frame really really well. Yeah. And I’ll be honest, I think Darren Waller, what do we got? I think he’s going to get up to seven or eight touchdowns this year because I think he’s the guy who’s going to blossom if he can stay healthy. If he can stay healthy. Yes. But he’s he’s the guy that blossoms in the absence of Tua Tongabaloa. Isn’t it kind of amazing to you, Tyreek? Isn’t it kind of amazing to you how quickly he showed chemistry with Tua compared to we’re still looking for Nick Westbrook Aune to show anything with Tua 100 percent and for us when we were on our Brock Bower trade up agenda we look good and I’ll say this I love Kenny Grant still I’m not jumping all that bandwagon but for the guys that say like the Tyler Waring crown like crowd you you got validity because I think Tua has never had a good go-to tight end like I J Smith’s good right look at Pittsburgh they’re barely using Like I think I dare say that Jono was good because of our offense. I I you know like and good for Darren Waller man. Good to see a guy that like it’s a move that the Dolphins don’t look like idiots making. He’s already accomplished more in his career here than Odell Beckham. Everyone thought he was Odell. I I actually think the the best player on this football team right now reason you just bought got his jersey. It’s Devon A. Yeah. That is what this offense should go through whether it’s on the ground or through the air. Waller, a chain, Malik Washington, and Jaylen Wadd is still a very good set of weapons for this offense. And I guess OG31 pounding the rock. And I don’t love our offensive line. And I’m upset that our right side’s missing, but Will McDonald and Quinn Williams did not get a sack against this Miami Dolphin team this week. I’ll say I I dare say kudos to them. Like I think they’re playing pretty damn good football considering I mean Cole Strange off the street in the right guard like Yeah, he had some rough snaps but Oh, he did. It was okay for sure. Yeah, but like they like I if they can play at that level as a pass protecting unit. What I need them to do is play some violence in the running game though. I want them to go take keep people out the next level. Isn’t that amazing how Achan right now the effort he’s showing in the red zone and the power he’s actually shown this year? cuz I mean whether it’s been a swing pass or whatever the case I mean look at his rushing touchdown that nine yard rush touchdown this week he had to break a tackle right with Engle Engled made a block but then there was a free man he had to break that tackle then he had to basically run through three defenders inside the three to get into the end zone and that wasn’t the first time we’ve seen him have to do that like achan’s contact balance and the power he’s added this season have actually been quite noticeable Saquon Barkley Derek Henry John Robinson. Who? Who else? Who’s better than Devon A? Jonathan Taylor. Taylor. I think he’s on the same level as Jir Gibbs, right? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Like like I just like Devon Achain has taken that except James Cook’s very good for Buffalo. Yeah, he is. You could make an argument for Cook. Yeah. But Devon Aane, when you factor in him as a weapon, as a passer, and he didn’t have to catch a lot of balls this week, but man, he he he is awesome. He’s electric to watch. I like I you better I don’t care who’s coaching this team and who’s the GM next year. Priority number one might be finding the quarterback. Priority number two is get Devon A locked up. Yeah. If he goes, I’m gonna be I’ll be like how I was with Machado and the Orioles, man. I will [ __ ] lose it. I got a bad idea. I I got a bad feeling with that because I don’t think they’re going to pay him the 14 to 15 million it’s gonna minimum cost to keep him which is crazy because it’s not about the cost of the running back. It’s it’s the cost of the weapon. And man, like I I’ll say this, I’ve seen like some dumb notions that the Dolphins might trade somebody. It wouldn’t surprise me in the least that they [ __ ] traded Devon Achain, man. And I hate to say it, but like I they don’t but man, Achain’s awesome, man. Like he’s he’s he’s so fun to watch. I mean, what’s the best part about watching the Dolphins? It’s Devon Achain. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. And you got to find a way to get him 20 25 touches. You know what I mean? Like every game you got to give him the 12 to 15 carries and then you got to give him another 10 to 12, you know, touches in the pass game. Like it’s just he’s the be I’m going to say this. He’s the best player on our team right now. 100%. Even Even when Tyreek was healthy, you play better than him. Y I would agree. And we started to see remember we started talking about that last year. You start the conversation started last year that he was our best player on the team, right? You know, like on offense at least. And I think Han right now is our best player on Man, I’m going to give myself a Barry Harowitz on that one because he’s the best player on the team. But he he really is. You know, like I I I’m going to tell you this right now. I’m going to be like you. if they don’t resign him, I’m going to throw a I’m going to have a conipion on air. Like I’m he’s my favorite player on the team right now. Um you know, Steeler’s still right up there, too. But you know, Achen, I’ll have a connection because you found an absolute diamond. You know what I mean? Like you just name the two names. MVP of the team is Don Hen. Biggest disappointment for me has been Zack Cer. That’s the truth. Because he’s played the worst football of his career, arguably. He he looked he woke up a little bit late in the game with those two run stops to force the fourth down. That was pretty good. I think there’s something fundamentally wrong with the defense. I don’t know what exactly it is. But a lot a lot of good a lot of good players are playing bad football and that tells me in a lot of times they’re not being used to their strengths and it’s too much of a merrygoround. Like I I I was an Anthony Weaver guy. I am still. One of the things the Ravens did was rotate people effectively, right? This isn’t the Baltimore Ravens. We don’t have that level of depth yet. We’re two drafts away from even sniffing that, right? Like the Ravens legitimately paid Washington, who was their fifth defensive lineman, to an extension, right? Like they they have depth. You can’t run this Dolphins defense like the Baltimore Ravens defense. Keep your best players on the football field. If it’s Jaylen Phillips sitting out, then go trade his ass. It should be Chop Robinson on the field at all times. Zack Cer on the field at all times. Kenny Grant on the field at all times. Bonito’s been bad, eh? Put I was just going to say Bonito can be backing up Jordan Phillips. Get Jordan Phillips some more meaningful snaps. Let the young guys play. Rotate Phillips and Chub on the edge. Let the best version play because Jordan Brooks has been very good. Dodson was awful, but he had a very good game this week. I don’t understand why Willie Gay can’t get more snaps. Another conundrum that shakes itches my head here. Minka’s been okay. He’s been good. He hasn’t been the Minka that we thought he probably was, but I also think that he’s also covering for a lot of bad reflection of the bad defense. Right. Right. But I think Jack Jones has been freaking good here, man. I I like He has been and so has Roswell Douglas. Douglas signing has been very very good man. So I do have to correct myself with something though. Chop Robinson has had 68 snaps over the last three games. Three games. Three. Yeah. Yeah. Um and he had 37 in week one. So look at his snap count from week one has gone 24 and then 22 in backtoback weeks. So, um it hasn’t been I don’t know what’s going on in terms of the usage right now with um with Chop Robinson. I I I I don’t get it um at all. You know what I mean? So, um all right, let’s talk about this though. Uh Neil, I wanted to ask you this. You’re kind of you’re kind of segueing me into another the main topic of the show here. Are Miami Dolphin coaches pointing fingers at Chris Greer? I want to read a few things to you and I want to get your thoughts, okay? Because I think there’s actually a legitimate conversation to have here. So, let’s start off with um Anthony Weaver. Anthony Weaver said um what about seven days ago, he said, “My job is to cook the dinner with whatever ingredients are bought.” Okay. Today, um on Zack Cer, he said maybe not playing both rookies with him will take some of the stress off of him. And then um he also mentioned that you know KG has tremendous Kenneth Grant has tremendous talent but until we match that talent with technique and fundamentals the potential will not be reached. And then you know it didn’t stop there. Um, an interesting thing that happened today was, um, you know, because they were talking with all the, um, positional coaches and what happened today was what the quarterback coach said also caught me a little bit off guard. He’s he basically noted how none of the three quarterbacks who played Monday, right, Jack Jones, Razula Douglas, and Cornell Armstrong were on the roster to start training training camp, right? So you you you say you see Anthony Weaver saying, “Hey, I’m just working with the ingredients that were brought to me. I’m just cooking with what was given to me and or trying to cook.” And you got your DB coach basically highlighting that none of these guys were here through training camp. Are you getting the sense that the defensive coaches are starting to point the finger a little bit at what they have to work with on the defensive side at the general manager and that’s why we’re having issues stopping the run. And I mean cuz he basically you know Anthony Weaver saying about not playing the rookies with Zack Cer in so much that’s basically saying hey Greer’s forced us to roll with rookies and Zack Cer’s game is suffering because of it right. No I what are your thoughts? Yeah, there’s definitely some digs there, right? Like you could feel them, right, when when he’s talking like there’s obviously some frustration in what’s going on there. And you know, the stuff with Kenneth Grant, that’s kind of coach speak to rookies. You hear that a lot. They got to get better. Got to get stronger. Got to get more time in this filming room, right? You hear that all the time. Yeah. But the the the ingredients comment to me has some weight to it. Like you don’t say that if you’re not if you’re not happy with something that’s going there. And you know, I think a lot of it is is that you look at look at how they put together the defense, it it it’s a lot of patchwork, right? It is a lot of patchwork and that especially in the secondary, but you know, as much as we like Jordan Phillips, he’s a fifth round rookie, right? Like as much as we like Kenneth Grant, he’s a rookie. As much as you know, we like a guy like Zeke Biggers, he’s a seventh round pick from Georgia Tech, right? Like like you should have a good balance of rookies. like they didn’t really want to keep Bonito Jones, right? That’s why they that he got him back on a one-year cheap NFL minimum deal, right? Like he just didn’t have a lot of suitors. He’s played some good football here. But at the end of the day, Bonito Jones is who you want as your fifth or sixth defensive lineman on your roster, not your number two, right? And I think when you look at it, a lot of people dubbed how good the Dolphins defensive front was coming into the season, including us. Including us. And when you don’t see those results, you know, Anthony Weaver is, you know, pretty much saying, “Hey, man, I’m trying to make chicken salad out of chicken [ __ ] It is what it is.” Like that, you know, that’s that’s how I read it. And um, you know, like I I think one thing as fans that we do too often is think that every rookie comes in and is instantly going to be like a superstar. And the odds of that happening are very slim in a lot of cases, right? Like Dexter Lawrence didn’t go to the Giants and become Dexter Lawrence in year one. Josh Allen didn’t go to Buffalo and become Josh Allen. Yeah. Like it’s it’s it’s it’s a long game with prospects. Like like I think people or or maybe many fans think that the purpose of the draft is to go find your savior at a position. And I don’t think that that’s the purpose. I think the purpose is to add somebody that you think has immense talent that could contribute immediately, but contribute is a word that has a lot of definitions and you don’t have to start all the time, right? Like there’s been a lot of instances of people that start slow that become great pros and vice versa, right? So I I think people too often want this instant gratification that there’s a patience element of drafting young players. your drafting traits, your drafting player. Like I I heard someone on the RA or someone in today talking about the quarterbacks in the draft and they were like talking about someone’s statline being a reason that a quarterback wouldn’t go in the first round. And I’m like, you really think that someone who’s an NFL GM is saying, “Oh, Dante Moore only threw for 268.” Let me let me touch this for a second. This goes back to 2019. EM Dolphin fans in the chat right now, Neil. I Okay, you you might remember I wanted Burrow, Tua, or Jordan Love. And I remember I on the Tuesday night panel every week, I’d be in an argument with the Dolphins chat. You know why? Because they didn’t want Jordan Love. You know why they didn’t want Jordan Love? All of them, including the person who hosted the Tuesday night panel, did not want Jordan Love. You know why? Because they box scorewatched him and he had thrown more interceptions than touchdowns. And you know what I said to them? If that’s the case, you wouldn’t have drafted Marino out of pit. What do you think happened in his last year? He had more interceptions than touchdowns. This is why you can’t box score watch. This is why you have to actually watch the film and see what these kids offer to understand what their ceiling, their potential, etc. could be like. And you talk about instant gratification and you know, I know you talked about earlier people with the Tyler Warren. Well, you know, we had been telling people, we’re not drafting a tight end in the first round. It’s not happening. So, people can sit there and stress about the Tyler Warren, but are we the Bears? They drafted Colts and Love Lovelin. They wanted a tight end when they already had Cole KT. They’re the ones that should be catching the flack for not drafting Tyler Warren. And you make another great point. These people microwave society. They expect you to show that you’re a gold jacket player within the first five snaps of your career. And yet all of these same people were probably massive fans of Christian Wilkins, but they don’t remember what Christian Wilkins was in year one. Let me put it in context for you right now. Guess what? Mason Graham, who everyone’s been hypering the pressure rate up over, he only has three more pressures, right, than Kenneth Grant right now, and one of those just happens to be a sack. They have the same amount of run stops up until this point. Mason Graham and him, they have the same amount of run stops. So, a guy who was drafted in the top 10 compared to a guy who was drafted at 13, he’s not really worlds beyond him out producing right now. And I don’t think people realize with certain positions, we talked about this before we went live, Neil, you need time with certain positions. This isn’t an edge rusher where you’re going to get constant opportunities in passing situations to to rush the passer. And like you mentioned before we get live, that’s not even Kenneth Grant’s game, right? But you see stuff like there were a couple reps this week, okay? Um where dude Kenneth Grant had Meyers the center right in the lap right in the lap of Justin Fields. You know what I mean? Like there there were there were there were there was another rep earlier in the game on a Breece Hall run stop where this man took on three defenders and if it wasn’t for a sorry three blockers and if it wasn’t for the third blocker picking him up and sealing him off he bulldozed the tight end coming across the backside put him on his ass after getting right through the line instantly off the snap. I mean you’re seeing stuff on film you’re seeing the power in college at film. The problem is it’s against NFL level talent and you got a third blocker sealing it off where in college that third blocker is probably not going to the NFL probably not aware enough to seal them off and Kenneth Grant is blowing the run play up. You know what I mean? Like just seeing stuff you saw on film. It’s just people no patience. And I get it because it goes back to what Weaver said. And our topic here, Neil, some of the ingredients they were expected to cook with out of the gate was Kenneth Grant needs to produce right away. Jason Marshall needs to produce right away. Dante Trader needs to produce right away. Jonas of INI. There was zero margin for error and really zero margin for growing pains with some of these rookies because of how Greers constructed this roster. Right. And where the Dolphins are because of a bad roster is they’re drafting to fill immediate needs versus drafting to find talent that they can develop. And that’s a big problem. And that’s why they’re at a crossroads. And you know, like look again to the box score stuff. Uh if you’re going to give me a box score, give it to me on a Tuesday cuz my recycling goes out on Wednesday. I don’t care. I don’t care that Lenor Sellers doesn’t throw for 300 yards a week. Like like I don’t care. Like Lamar Jackson is pretty good. He never won, I think, at Louisville. The last game he ever played, he threw four interceptions. Like I there there’s there’s if with Google and AI, we can find a uh counterpoint to any point that’s made, right? At the end of the day, it takes time to develop talent. Kyle Hamilton was awful in Baltimore year one. When we lit them up for that comeback, where were we going after Kyle Hamilton with Wadd and Hill? Now, I’ll give you anyone on our football team for Kyle Hamilton to be on our team, right? So, it’s like, you know what I mean? It’s like you you got to give young players, even elite talent, time to develop and mold. And like I’ll be honest, it’s like one of the things that have become hard with social media. Like you’re saturated by a lot of opinions whether they’re good, bad, or in the middle. Unfortunately, like everyone has access to have the same conversations. Like you hear a lot of very bad like football takes, you know, we call them the football takes, right? But like I don’t know, man. Everybody thinks that like somebody’s going to get drafted and Jonah Savana is going to be Allan Fanaka. And look, I don’t I’ve been disappointed with his play, but I’m not naive enough to think that like because of four games in the NFL, he’s a bust or he’s not living up to his potential. But you also understand the context. Tell these people what you were saying about Jonas Sai at left guard. Tell these people what you were saying about the Miami Dolphins. Yeah. Every time they get a good young player, they mess it up by playing I’ll put them in a position where I think they should go versus the position we’ve seen them be successful in. Jonas Havana should be your right starting right guard right now and it should have been like that from the jump like you’re you’re and there is a difference playing on the left side and the right side. And I think it’s one of those things that like you know at the end of the day they’re doing it with Chop Robinson. They’re doing it with Kenneth Grant to an extent. They’re doing it with our young players that we expect immediate gratification and it’s a different sport. But I remember last year in baseball, everybody in the world hated Jackson Holiday and called him a bust. Then this year he outside of Trevor Rogers pitching amazing. He should have been the team MVP. Like it takes time for young athletes to develop into what they’re going to be. And then when they get that thing, it’s like a snowball going down the hill. Like it’s like I I just think like I I I keep saying this. My whole motto of the Dolphins season is it’s not them, it’s us. It’s it is the Miami Dolphins that are the problem. It’s not Jonah Savana. It’s not Chop Robinson. It’s not Reason. It’s not Neil Driscoll. It is the Miami Dolphins that consistently have the problem. That’s why Anthony Capanelli go to Jacksonville and lead a fierce defense, right? That’s why Vic Fanjo goes to Philadelphia and goes and wins the Super Bowl. That’s why Jaylen Ramsey goes to Pittsburgh and damn Jaylen Ramsey looks good again. Like the problem is us. Like that is the problem. And anybody who’s been in that building for a very long time, Chris Greer, and I like Chris Greer, but you got to go buddy. Anybody that is part of the freaking foundation that has failed, you need to get them out the door. You don’t have to be bad to lose your job. Everything reach re reaches an expiration date. Change is needed from the top down. Recycling a brand and shore into the mold does nothing to fix this organization. You need fresh ideas and it doesn’t mean that it has to be inexperienced. You need fresh ideas from the outside from proven winners that know how to fix a broken ship and get it sailing again. That’s what you need. And the same ingredients going out and trying to find new masses and new sales for their boat. We can’t do it. It’s the same damn cycle. And I don’t care who the next head coach is. If it’s a firstear head coach with Chris Greer tied to them, in two to three years, we’re going to go through the cycle all over again. It’s not them, it’s us. Wouldn’t that be insane if they gave a guy who a GM who’s never won a playoff game a four a shot at a fourth head coach? And I talked about this and you’ve heard me talk about this, you know, I mean, you’re out there in Ravens country. This is an organizational issue and it’s gone back to the Marinos days. We we couldn’t get like look at everyone can agree we had one of the most talented quarterbacks ever. Why did we never win? Why did we never go to the Super Bowl in the 90s? Um, you look at since he’s left, you know, I I’ve talked about this. The problem is since he’s left, at least with Marino, we had an identity. Since he’s left, we’ve had no identity. We have no identity. I mean, we had a great defense in the 2000s, but our offense was just never up to snuff. I mean, we had to run Ricky Williams in the ground to even give that defense a chance to win games, you know, on Sundays. I mean, and you look at this, I I’ll use the Ravens as an example, you know, I use the Steelers as an example. I use the Packers as an example. Look at these teams and how many head coaches they’ve gone over they’ve gone through over the last 25 years. Look at it. And then go even further than that. Look at how they draft, right? You look at the Baltimore Ravens. I always use them. They have set the example. The the Steelers do it too. Look at how they’re always drafting offensive linemen inside out. Inside out everything. They’ve always have identities with no matter who the quarterback is, whether it’s a statue like Flaco or whether it’s an extreme athlete like Lamar Jackson, they’ve always been able to run the ball with even guys like Gus Edwards and Justice Hill. You know what I mean? They’ve always had that identity of you better be ready to play the Ravens on Sunday because they’re going to be tough to beat in the trenches and they’re going to play hard-nosed football. And this is why I say you need a coach from that environment, preferably from a cold that has experience winning in cold weather situations because everyone wants to hold Tua and our current, you know, team to those cold weather standards. Uh, Neil, are me and you the only people who have been fans here since the 80s and 90s, right? Do we remember how bad we were under Marino in cold weather? We were not good. Hell, we would have problem handling cold weather teams like the Bills in the early 90s when they came to our house in the playoffs because they were built for that cold weather. They were built for the playoffs and we weren’t. People don’t realize, Neil, since Marino, haven’t we always kind of been a finesse team passing the football even like, let’s be real here. You know what I mean? So, I think the problem is Neil, it’s bigger than losing Marino. We haven’t been able to establish an organizational identity for the last 25 years. We have no blueprints in terms of I talked about it, the Ravens and the Steelers and the blueprint they have of drafting offensive linemen. I mean, look it, they draft Brick Jones one year, then the next year they turn around and they draft Troy F. They draft Fatanu. Next round they draft Zack Frasier. Then they take Mason. What? They took Mason McCormack in that draft too, right? You know what I mean? Like look at the Eagles. Exactly. They just turn on. And look at everyone’s giving Howie Roseman the credit, Neil. And rightfully so. But they’ve had an identity since Andy Reid’s been there. Right. Andy Reid instilled that offensive line identity. And look at their offensive line since Andy Reid’s been there. No matter who the coach has been and who the quarterback has been, whether it’s Vic, Wentz, Fos, whoever, they’ve always had one of the better offensive lines in football. It’s same with the Dallas Cowboys. They established in 90 running the football with EMTT Smith and that offensive line. What can we say through the 2000s into the 2010s, I know it started to fall apart a little bit, but for the last 20 plus years, they’ve had a great offensive line in Dallas, right? And you know, Zeke didn’t work out, but they were trying to replicate what they had with EMTT. And for the first couple years it was working. But you see where I’m going here. These teams have identities and formulas and we have like and this is what I always hold against Greer Neil. He was in the building in 2016 when he saw the unicorn line. He was right there when he saw Pouncy Brandon Albert you know what I mean? When he saw Lar towns left guard when he saw that solid offensive line he saw Tanahill’s game jump. He saw us finally having the first what? best running back since Ricky Williams in Jai. You know what I mean? Like he saw all these things, but what did he do, Neil? Well, the offer is too good for Larons, so let’s ship them away. And he’s treated the offensive line like the running back position. Go cheap, get injuryprone players that are really high talented that maybe you can get a deal on and it never works out, bro. Yeah. And it’s funny, dude. So, like if you remember after we had the draft, when we drafted Patrick Paul, I was pretty high on Paul compared to most and we were on the show. So, you know, it was one of those things for me, man. Like, I had heard verbatim that the Dolphins were trying to trade back up in the end of the first round with the Ravens to get Tyler Gay in that draft. And I heard the reason the Ravens were willing to do it is that they wanted to get Patrick Paul. So, I kind of cheated. I kind of took an open book test when I said I like Patrick Paul. I did like his tape, but when I heard that the Ravens were on him, I I I jumped up. Same with Robert Hunt. Remember, they wanted Robert Hunt and that’s why they took JK Dobbins in front of us because they knew we wanted Dobbins and they kind of got us back for taking Robert Hunt, right? So, like I like I thought like the Ravens identifying that kind of offensive tackle. I was like, “Okay, like this guy’s going to be a good player.” So, like that’s the that’s the mold. Like I want that toughness that the Eagles, the Packers, like you said, the Steelers, the Bills, the Chief, like everyone looks at Mahomes, the Chiefs are a tough football team, man. Like and and it started inside out. Creed Humphrey, Chris Jones. Like that is how you have to draft your football organization. Like I like that’s why like if if there’s a way that this guy stakes free and I like Aaron Brewer, I’ll play this guy at guard. Go get me Tyler Linderbomb and put him at left guard because he can do it. Like I you need to get the trenches better. You gota the offensive line, but they’d rather draft Hunter Long than Quinn Miners. Yeah, it’s horrible. And and then when you are drafting a guy like Tua Tong Aloa, you know his size. The number one thing you you want to [ __ ] build a wall and they did anything but it. And I’m not making excuses for Tua, but like you don’t have to. There’s no synergy in their decision- making. There’s no plan. It’s just all over the place. Like it’s it’s like if I play my son in Madden, he always gets mad cuz I beat him cuz I just know he all he’s going to do is pass the whole time. So I can blitz and sack them, play my DBs and pick him off. Like I’m like, “Buddy, you got to run the ball a little bit here. You got to control the clock. I know exactly what you’re doing.” Like that’s how the Dolphins operate. They’re all over the damn place. They don’t have a good fundamental plan. I think Chris Greer can evaluate talent. I don’t think he can build a roster. And that is a big difference between a good GM and a great GM. And I think he’s made a lot of moves to acquire talent. But when you put that in a blender, that smoothie sucks. And I like that is where I think they need somebody. A change is a win. A change is a win. Yeah. Sometimes you just need a new set of eyes on the product and in the building. And you know, we actually that culture shift they’re talking about, we needed to start from the top down. Well, look, and I have a lot of respect for Chris Greer. I think it’s awful that he just lost his father. I think he’s been nothing but a great man in that community. I think Chris Greer is a standup dude. Like, I I think he’s a great guy. That’s okay. I still think you need he’s made a lot of money. He ain’t going to be hurting. It’s not going to be ramen on his table every night. He’ll be okay. Like, you have to change the course. And if you gonna do move him to another position, I I I and I’m okay as long as he doesn’t touch the Somebody has to come into that boardroom and say, “Take all your little tags of players and throw them in the trash cuz I’m putting mine up.” Yeah. And this is how we’re going to clean out and clean out that scouting department and say, “Nope, I’m bringing them.” Because I think you nailed it. Greer can Greer can evaluate talent, but when it comes to constructing the proper roster, he’s not there yet. And some of that does fall on him too for letting the coaches have way too many too much influence on how you build that roster. So, um, let’s get into the Panthers, though. Um, so you think the Miami Dolphins are going to handle business? I would agree with you. I They Let’s put it this way. They should handle business. All right. And you said something earlier, Neil, uh, that really I’ve gone even a step further than you. You said that New England game they should be they could be two and two right now. I’ll go a step further. Tua doesn’t blow it in the last two drives of those two games. We could be three and one right now heading into Carolina. And I mean we’ve seen a lot of teams that we expected to be good this year. Neil are underperforming. And this has really been a league of you know this year this year has been a year of inches and close games. you know what I mean? And um now the Carolina Panthers um Bryce Young um he you know the end of last season when he got benched he started looking real good this year. Uh you know three interceptions already on the season. Um he’s only averaging about 188.3 yards per game. He’s accounted for about six total touchdowns if you include his rushing touchdown. Um, you know, T McMillan, I mean, you know, he’s already got 276 yards. Um, he’s a good he’s a good player. Good player. That one-handed catch he made in week one was ridiculous. Yeah, he’s he’s a good player, man. Um, they got a guy like Chubb Chuba Hubard, shout out to Canada, that can pound the ball, but um, you know, they drafted Trevor Etienne. Xavier Legette hasn’t really got the targets out there. I mean, you look at this team that nothing really stands out at you. Um, what are your what are your thoughts on this game? They’re another 1 and3 team. They beat Atlanta 30 to nothing. They got smoked by New England 4213 last week. Played a tough game with Arizona. They lost by 16 points to open the season to Jacksonville. Um, they haven’t had a 100 yard rusher yet this year. Um, what what are your thoughts on this weekend’s matchup in Carolina? I I I don’t see enough people when I see a mock draft that’s way too early right now have the Panthers in the quarterback market. They were willing at a point to move on from Bryce Young last year. He got himself back in the lineup, right? They went, didn’t they go to Andy Dalton last year and start him for a minute? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. And then Bryce Young came back and played admirably and kept his position, but he’s right back to being the player he was before he got benched. Uh I don’t know of all the circumstances there, but Ecuano, their left tackle, who they have from NC State, never really blossomed into the player they thought. Robert Hunts down for the count. Taylor Mo on right tackle is good pro. Um but like I Mc M Leg has not taken off, I don’t think, to the magnitude that people thought. T uh McMillan’s a good player and he’ll probably get some catches on us, but you know, their quarterback the last time he was on the field with Tua tongue of low, it was embarrassing how much better Tua was than him. And you know, I think this is could be a get right game for Tua and that offense. Um, you know, you don’t want to take anyone for granted, but I think Carolina is as bad as anyone in football. Um, and their coach there. I I I wouldn’t be buying maybe rent for a while because you might not be there long. That that that team, they just lack direction. I mean, JC Horn’s a good corner and I’m sure that he’s going to be trying to lock up on Wadd for a lot of the game. They did get Trevan Murik from uh the Raiders, the safety. He’s a decent player. Derek Brown, he’s a guy you got to block, but like I’ll be honest, like where where what scares you on either side of the ball really? I mean, here comes a Javon Sanders breakout game again. And they might even be without Chubba Hover. He’s not He hasn’t practiced this week because of a calf. Yeah, he’s dinged up. Yeah. Like so. But like I just think the Dolphins should eat on them, man. And I actually think it could be a good win, a comfortable win. But like it’s like to you say that crossroads. It’s that fine line because like the draft pick thing like I’m not sweating. It’s going to work out. Do I want a higher draft pick? Sure. But I’m not going to complain at my team’s winning football games. It is what it is. You know, Lamar Jackson was a 32nd pick in a draft, so go find him. Like, you know, it does don’t make it easy on yourself. The best quarterbacks in football aren’t the number one overall picks. They’re the ones that leave a lot to be desired. Trevor Lawrence, right? Yeah. Um, but but like they could probably they they could probably give the Atlanta Falcons a loss. The next test for me is going to be that Chargers game. And that’s for a lot of reasons. That’s the coach we should have had. That’s the quarterback that everyone’s saying better than ours. That’s a team that we’re one and one against during the Tua Herbert era, right? He’s two and one. Oh, we’re two and one. Let let like to me that game means something. And I think the Chargers are a good football team that is well coached and I think they’re probably a playoff team. You beat them and you that would move you to three and three at that point. Then we can have conversations about maybe I’m too down on the Dolphins. But Carolina, man, I I I think I actually think it might be a get right game for our defensive line, to be honest, which which could not come at a better time. So, um, let’s hit Bryce Young and I’d like to see a Chop Robinson deciding though, man. I want to see him. I just can’t believe you missed that open shot of just I know, man. I know. What’s your prediction? I think we’re going to score a little bit. So, two field goals, three touchdown 27. So, we put up like similar points to what we did against the Jets. Yeah. Yeah. I I mean, listen, because I don’t think we’re going to go for the juggler. I I think we’re going to play smarter football when we have leads. I know you called it a two a get-ri game, but he looked really good on the move last week. I mean, he did. And and let’s be honest, before the interception on the second last drive against New England and before the interception on the final drive against the Bills, he was solid for like the majority of those games. You know what I mean? It’s just the clutch moments. He’s just coming up short again. You know what I mean? So yeah, you could be right. This could be kind of like last week where he puts together a full game, but it could be an even stronger performance because of what we’re going up against. Question for you. Do you think there’s a part of him like we all know that the relationship with Tyreek seemed like it hit a strain, right? Do you think there’s a a chance that right now that Tua has exhaled and be like, “Yeah, now I can go and be the quarterback. I want to be more than the quarterback that is force-feeding one player more than the means. Like I and like again Tyreek’s great even at our high points. We on the show had always said that our offense was too Tyreek centric. We wanted to spread the ball spread the wealth. Like I I do think we found the most success is when two has eight or nine receivers, right? Like that Jets game without Tyreek when we beat the Jets and Wadd was out burning DJ Reed and Sauce. like that to me I I think Tua can exhale a little bit now he’s got to deliver but the pressure of having to get the ball to your $50 million receiver next year right like that is gone and that could be a good thing like I think for Tua Tungalo where he is in his career he’s just got to say [ __ ] it and I got to go out there and do it and I don’t care anymore you can talk about me I don’t care about my weapons I don’t care if you want to replace me I’m just going to go out there and drop my marbles on the table every week. That’s what I would do if I was I think I think two things are are here right now. And I think Tua right now, I’ve talked about this since the off since the offseason. You know this. I thought there was a you know concentrated effort between Tua and Waddle that they wanted Wadd to become the number one guy this year. And I think now here’s your chance. On the flip side, Mike, here’s your chance to prove that you are the guy because Tyreek’s gone. You didn’t lose a distributor of the football, but you lost Tyreek. Here is your chance to open up the playbook a little bit. Change things a little bit. Show some adaption. So, show show some adjustments that we haven’t seen. And here’s your chance, Mike. Over these next six games, there’s some good teams and some good run running teams. Here’s your chance to show something with this offense and here’s your chance to show you’re the right guy in Miami. Yeah. And I think we have seen them pull back the deep shot element to the football game a little bit and I’d actually like to see a little bit more of it. I thought that Wadd should have had a couple shots that game and overall o overall I was kind of underwhelmed by Wadd in that game. Not that he played bad, but I expected him against Brandon Stevens to be Yeah, embarrassing him to be honest. But they have a like I think their game plan is a little bit more conservative and I and that’s could be a good thing. Like they’re not going out there trying to score 50 yard touchdowns and and you said AJ’s been running really tough. He h like he’s running tough between the tackles, man. Like he he’s taking his game to the next level. I I think they’re playing smarter football on the offensive side of the game, but I got to start seeing them sprinkle a couple more shots per game. That that that’s just my thing. And I I think Wadd needs those opportunities to go and like right now he’s got the opportunity for rest of the season to cement himself as a number one or is he just a really good number two? That’s a question we’ll find the answer to very shortly. I’m telling you either way, I don’t care what he shows me. 2027, you already know where I’m going. I’m a nerf for Jeremiah Smith. 1. The only reason I can think of putting Jonah at LG is because they identified his struggles early and didn't want him on Tua's blind side. Outside of that, I don't get it.

  2. The Panthers 100 yard rusher Chuba Hubbard most likely is coming this week against the Miami Dolphins worst rushing defense in the league! I’m putting money on it.

  3. I can honestly see a major comeback as well as a very strong finish. Mike McDaniel may even win his job for the remaining contract and TUAS as well. This don't have to be a bad season. We can solve it all with VIOLENCE!!!

  4. Why? The roster year 4 going on week 5 is great? For regime 2? Cam Smith marks busted high db pick #? Ken Grant is high pick not making any meaningful impact now # ? Where is Brandon Jones, Andrew fin Vanginkel, west by god 3/4 of the servicable FAs that could still be here since 2023?

  5. 11:26 talking about how bad this run defense is here what I jotted down.

  6. 21:44 I don’t agree with Neal on this upcoming statement. I think the biggest reason that we went without giving up a sack in this Jets game was because of play design. I noticed Tu rolling out of the pocket way more than this game as part of the plate design than he has a long time. He was rolling out at the snap and throwing in the move.

  7. I think there is a possibility that we could be better without Tyreek..We have seen plenty of times when a number one receiver gets injured, traded, or leaves in free agency that the QB spreads the ball to different receivers…The offense becomes better and more explosive…In other words, we know where the ball was going and so do other teams, Tyreek ..We saw this recently with the Bills when that traded Diggs to the Texans, all of the sudden Buffalo's offense became more explosive…I hope Tyreek gets healthy and plays well, just not for the Dolphins…We shouldn't forget all the distractions that Tyreek brought to the cohesiveness of this team, also how he quit on us last year…He is a great wide receiver, but at what cost ….Again, I wish Tyreek health and success, but I think we will be better off …I think Tua will feel less pressure to force the ball to Tyreek… Also, we should not forget we have another number one receiver in Waddle…I think we are going to be fine..I like the two Washingtons also…..

  8. Tua will get a lot better now that Tyreek is gone..Tua is not going to feel pressured to get the ball to Tyreek 10 or 12 times a game …He could just relax, and get the ball to the open guy ….I've seen it plenty of times before, where a primary receiver leaves or gets injured and QBs become better at distribution..Miami is loaded with wide receiver talent….

  9. See what a difference a good tight end makes in this offense…. Athletic tight ends in this offense are pivotal for success…Red zone is going to drastically improve if Waller stays healthy…
