Ravens Rumors: BIG MOVE COMING After Ravens Injury News?

[Music] Could a big move be coming for the Baltimore Ravens after the slew of injuries that they’ve gone through over the last couple of weeks? Don’t believe me that this team is beaten up, broken, and injured? Well, I want to show you yesterday’s practice report because this should show you everything you need to see. Lamar Jackson not practicing. Neither was Ronnie Stanley. Rocoan Smith, Nate Wiggins, Marlon Humphrey, Patrick Ricard, Chado Auzier, Devontes Walker, Kyle Vanoi, Travis Jones, and the name you don’t see on that list, Nami Mad BK. And the reason you don’t see that is because he’s out for the season. He’s not going to be practicing for the rest of the year. And John Harbaugh was asked about that, whether the Ravens could address their personnel problem on the defensive line now that Nandav BK is out for the whole year. And John Harbaugh said, “It’s always something that’ll be on the table for sure.” So, we’re going to take that quote, we’re going to run with it, and we’re going to tell you three people, three players on the defensive line that the Baltimore Ravens might be trading for over the next couple of weeks. Before I tell you who those players are though, make sure you guys are subscribed because we are moving our way right on up the chat sports sub rankings, our power rankings here at the company. Michigan Football Report, we passed them. We passed them about a couple weeks ago. Up next is Falcons today. They’re around 3,000 subscribers ahead of us. I want to pass them by the end of the season. Okay, my balls are in your court. Pause. You guys have not subscribed, please do so today. Help us climb up the sub rankings and also get yourself daily free coverage of the Baltimore Ravens. So, what we know right now, three things. This defense horrible, like one of the worst in the National Football League. Everyone is hurt. Namdi Benedik included. He’s out for the rest of the season like I mentioned earlier. And from John Harbaugh, a trade is on the tape. The injury to Namdi Benedik was absolutely brutal. And about a week ago, I think it was actually exactly a week ago, I believe it was on a Thursday, I talked about how it is extremely concerning what he was going through. Everything that we had heard so far up until that point did not point to it being good for his future in Baltimore for at least this season. And unfortunately, that was true. And the worst part about it was he was having a phenomenal year so far in 2025. One of, if not the best defensive lineman this team had to the first two games of the season. Look at that quarterback pressure rate. 15.6 against Buffalo, 11.8 against Cleveland. He had a sack in each of his first two games. Nine total QB pressures. In those first two games, it felt like we are finally seeing the Nam de Verbique that we all got used to seeing in 2023. And unfortunately, he’s gone. But that’s over. We got to move on from here. The first guy I believe that at least Baltimore should try to move on with is Jeffrey Simmons, defensive tackle. Played his college days at Mississippi State. He currently is a Tennessee Titan. And if we’re gonna talk trade ideas and we’re gonna talk him for the defensive line, this one to me makes the most sense. He’s on the Tennessee Titans. We know that they are going to be sellers at the deadline. They’re not good enough now to not be sellers. They’re sure as hell not going to be buyers. I can promise you that. And reason number one, like he’s still a really good player. His pass rush PFF grade like a 90.2. I think it’s the second highest of all defensive tackles in football right now. But he’s not just doing it on PFF numbers, right? He’s putting up the stats as well. 14 tackles, five tackles for loss. Of those 14 tackles, I believe 12 of those are solo. Two sacks in the first four games, four run stuffs. He can do it all, man. He can help you in run defense. He can help you in pass defense. And the second reason is for the player that he is, I don’t think it would cost too much when talking about a tradeful. Like when you’re talking about some of the premier interior defensive lineman in this league like a Quinn and Williams that’s going to cost you a first round for Jeffrey Simmons. It’s not going to be that much. 2026 third round pick. And now I know Eric Dasa he likes to hoard those. He likes to keep those. Obviously with how this team has been playing so far this season that strategy isn’t working. You need to get better on the interior. you need to do it quickly or you’re going to put yourself behind the eightball too much by losing too many of these early games. A third round pick. I would do that in a heartbeat. Now, the only problem is is once you trade him, you got to pay him. And he currently is on a contract where he makes $23.5 million a year. Now, it was a four-year deal. He signed it in 2023. He already played in 2023, played in 2024. So, there’s two years left on that deal. So, I guess if you trade for him, you could kind of help that cap space a little bit by extending him after you trade that would help alleviate it a little bit. But regardless, it’s going to be expensive when talking about what you have to put in his pocket after you get him in the building. Would you accept this trade? Let me know down below by typing A for accept or D for decline. Jeffrey Simmons for a third round pick in 2026. Would you do it? Give me an A or give me a D down below in the comment section. Something I do think you should A for accept is this deal that’s being offered to you right now with our friends at Prize Pix. If you download the app and use our code CLNS, you get $50 in lineups after you play your first $5 lineup. You and I make decisions every single day. What to eat for breakfast, how we get to work that day. But on prize picks, being right can get you paid. Don’t miss any of the action with our friends on Price Picks all season long. It’s the only app that offers stacks, meaning you can pick the same player up to three times in the same lineup. Want to pick more on Dak Prescott, pass yards, rush yards, and touchdowns. You can now pick all of them in the same lineup. Price picks also than the flex play, which means you can still cash out even if your lineup isn’t perfect. You can double your money even if one of your picks doesn’t hit. Going to give you an example of what a prize picks lineup looks like for Thursday Night Football tonight. We got the Rams, we got the 49ers. Give the more on Devonte Adams, half a receiving touchdown. More on Matthew Stafford, 233 and a half pass yards. Less on Christian McCaffrey, 48 and a half receiving yards. Now, when talking about that flex play, what’s really cool, you get that flexibility. So, Devonte Adams could score two touchdowns. Matthew Stafford could go through 300 yards. And if you flex play it, Christian McAffrey, he could have two yards receiving, you could still win money. So, download the Prize Fix app today. Use code CLNS to get $50 in lineups after you play your first $5 lineup. That’s code CLNS to get $50 in lineups after you play your first $5 lineup. Link to this promo is in the comments and description of today’s video. Prize picks. It’s good to be right. The second interior defensive lineman target we’re going to talk about is one in the division. Let’s talk about Shelby Harris. Now, he hasn’t put up the sheer snap numbers that a guy like Jeffrey Simmons has or the final guy we’re going to talk about, only 91 snaps on the year, but his volume, although short, his production has been pretty solid. His grading has been pretty solid. 72.5 overall grade. Pass rush grade is 63.8. Run defense grade really, really good. That’s a 75.9. And sometimes, in my opinion, when talking about this position group for Baltimore, you just need depth. You just need warm bodies to rotate in and out of there. It’s a lot to ask for an ISP to step up after being a sixth round pick in this most recent NFL draft and be the star that Ni Metab was. Sometimes you just got to get a good rotation of players, keep guys fresh so that way they’re at their best for all game long when the opposition’s offensive line is getting a little bit tired. Good thing about Shelby is he wouldn’t cost too much either. Like you’re not gonna have to trade a third round pick to get him. Okay? Not even a So while Jeffrey Simmons might cost a lot and while this last guy might cost a lot, Shelby Harris is not going to cost much at all. Let’s talk about that last guy now. Okay. Dexter Lawrence. Sexy Dexy. That’s right. I know we’ve already talked about him before, but I can’t keep them out of my mouth when I talk about trading for interior defensive line because the New York Giants, let’s face it, they don’t really know what they’re doing right now. They started with the year rust at quarterback. It just went to Jackson Dart. It seems like the way that organization run is ran is horrible. So, if they believe they can get a good bit for Dexter Lawrence, they might be willing to part with him. And I would be very interested in trading for him because of how good he’s been on PFF and how good his numbers have been in the last four seasons. I mean, look at his total in the last three seasons. 106 tackles, 16 tackles lost, 13 and a half sacks. Look at what he did in 2024. In 12 games, he had nine sacks and 44 tackles. Guys, this one would be a dream. Dexter Lawrence being a multiple Raven would be an absolute dream. I feel like he fits with this culture or what at least what this culture used to be. I feel the same way about Jeffrey Simmons. We like to get guys in here that we say play like a Raven. We don’t have a lot of Ravens on this team, but those guys could be and those guys could bring it out of other guys. be the leaders that we need to step up to see a change in this team so far. Now, with Dexter Lawrence, it’s going to cost you a lot. A firstrounder, probably a fourth rounder in this upcoming draft. But kind of similarly to Jeffrey Simmons, your Super Bowl window’s closing, ladies and gentlemen. You got to pay a lot of people a lot of money. Why not just make a splash, make a move, see if you can pull this team out of the gutter? Now, I’ve got a feeling if you lose this game against Houston, a trade will happen. And knock on wood that you don’t lose that game. But if you do lose it, I feel like they’re going to have to make something happen because it’s like, okay, that game against Los Angeles is a mustwin. You need to have as many guys on that interior defensive line as you possibly can. I’ve got a feeling though over the next couple of days before that game, nothing’s going to happen. If it does though, I’ll keep you updated. Drop a name. Who is a Ravens or who’s a player you believe the Ravens should trade for? Let me know in the comment section down below. I gave you three. I’m actually about to give you four more. I give you three on the interior of the defensive line. You just give me one. We’re going to round this out. We’ll go kind of rapid fire here. Other trade targets for other positions. Reek Woolen at the cornerback spot. Interesting thing about Reek Woolen is a report came out on Monday from Ian Raport that apparently was leaked by the general manager of the Seahawks that they are very, very open and trading for. If you don’t believe in Jay Alexander’s ability to get out from injury, we all know Marlon Humphrey’s gone for a couple of weeks. We don’t know the status of Nate Wiggins yet. Reek Woolen could be a guy who could come in here. He’s a veteran presence. Could help kind of write the ship at least a little bit over the next couple of weeks. Dear Davis, I get it. He’s old, 36 years old. This dude is, let’s just say he’s registered for ARP, but he is still a baller, man. And with Roan gone, I feel like you need somebody who’s not going to have to come in and struggle on the defense. He’s played in the National Football League for a very, very, very long time. As Dear Mario Davis and Trent Simpson, I feel like, needs a guiding light. Teddy Buchanan needs a guiding light as well. Trevor Penning, he’s listed as an offensive tackle, but he’s really versatile. He could play guard as well. We know this team doesn’t need a tackle right now. They need either a left guard or a right guard. and the former first round pick in 2022. He could be that guy. Now, the reason I don’t think he’s had as good of a career as many people thought he was when he got drafted is because he’s been in New Orleans because they’ve just been so bad and because he hasn’t necessarily found home. If he gets in here and he gets told, “Hey, you’re a guard. That’s it. You’re a right guard. Get Daniel Fle. Ship him to Mexico.” Maybe something could be pulled out of Trevor Pitting that has been failed to get pulled out of him before. Kyle Duggar is the last name I’m going to leave you with. Malachi Starks, I love you. And this one is interesting. It’s a hard line to tow because I don’t want to trade for somebody necessarily and just shoot Malachi Starks’s confidence down, but in the same breath, man, that room can’t be making the same mistakes it has been. I love Malachi. He’s not playing up to the snuff of a first round pick so far. Kyle Duggar’s a fine player. I just don’t know if it’s worth the risk. But is he at least an eight to my but say you guys how are you feeling? What is the percent chance you think the Ravens make the playoffs? You let me know in the comment section down. Scale it up for one to 100. 100 obviously you’re saying 100% chance. You guarantee they make it. Zero. You’re saying you know what? I don’t think they’re going to do it. You let me know in the comment section. That’s going to do it for today. Make sure you guys got me followed on social media on Twitter on Instagram Peterson. 1. Virtually zero chance the Ravens make any of these three moves. If this ends up being a lost season, which at this point is highly probable, the Ravens are gonna want to hold onto every pick if they end up drafting in the top 10-12 of each round.

And they’re not even close to being “One Player Away” right now. There are so many holes – one DT isn’t going to make that much of a difference.
