Dan Campbell previews Lions vs. Browns | 2025 Week 4 Opponent Preview
Welcome back for another opponent preview week four with head coach Dan Campbell taking on the Cleveland Browns. It’s coming off a short week. How do you want to see your rookies like Kate Ratlage and Tyler Williams respond to a test like this? Well, look, it’s your it’s your first shorter week, right? Six days instead of seven. Um so with that, you’re not going to have as much practice time. You recovery becomes really imperative. You got to get the game plan without a ton of practice time. And I think that’s the big thing is just man, fall in line. Watch what the vets do. And man, you got to study and you got to recover and and all those things. So, this will be good cuz this will prep you for Thanksgiving week. Yep. Speaking of vets, Joe Flacco is there at quarterback for the Cleveland Browns. Year 18 and he’s still making some pretty good plays downfield. It’s amazing. You know, it really is that that he’s still playing at the level he’s able to play at. He’s still got a good arm. Uh and it’s really, you know, between the years, man, this guy’s uh very intelligent player, very smart. He’s seen them all. pressures, coverage, and he he can still give his guy a one-on-one chance to make a play. One weapon he has is Jerry Judy. He’s averaging 13 yards a catch right around there. What kind of edge is Jerry Judy giving that offense right now? Well, he’s been a good addition for them. And I I think look, he’s got a really good route tree. He’s got some length. He’s got some size. He’s got, you know, good hands. I mean, so he he’s just been kind of a good consistent receiver for them that does a lot of different things. defensive end Miles Garrett is looking for his sixth Pro Bowl season in a row. He’s already wreaking havoc with sacks. What kind of matchup does that look like with your tackles? Well, look, I I’m always going to take our tackles first of all, but this guy is, you know, he’s he’s one of the best for a reason. You know, he’s got length. He’s got explosiveness. He’s got size. He can bend. Look at his bend right here. When you are 66 and you’ve got 36 in arms and you can jump off the ball and then you can bend like this. I mean that that makes it very difficult. You know, we’re going to have to make sure we nudge this guy a little bit and chip him with the back and just give our tackles a breather every once in a while. Multiple defenders you have to be on the lookout for, but Devin Bush outside linebackers is another one in year seven and he’s being productive as well this season. How do you account for him? Well, it it’s listen, do your job and you got to make it hard on him. Make him make a play with somebody on him and then just drive your feet cuz he is he’s another headsy football player. He’s aggressive. He’s smart. He’s tough. You can’t let him make these kind of plays, right? And to me, this is all about the want and the will. Like, he wants to make this play more than the guy across from him does at this moment. As you head out of the month of September here in the NFL season, what do you want your team to be known for early on, man? Just the ability to find ways to win, right? I I I mentioned this to the team. Let’s let’s figure out how many different ways we can we can find a way to win a game. And and they’re all going to be different, but man, you learn from all of them. And and there again, by the end of the season, you’ve really figured out multiple ways to win a game. And so nothing gets on you. You just adjust, you adapt, and you overcome. All right. We’ll see. Thanks so much, coach. All right. Thank you.

Just score More than 17 points and we'll be okay. Bold prediction I could see our defense get 7-8 sacks again π
Don't do what the Packers did. Play down to the competition. The Lions need to play like their the better team.
If our pass rush is just half as good as it was against the Ravens, the Browns are cooked
The secondary still makes me nervous….
Oh I π Danny (The girl not the coach)π!
Give Danni another show and ax twentyman pls
If the lions play their A game on defense they should be good to win this game cleveland did not score 20 points in their 3 games.
She asks intelligent and interesting questions. Sadly, thatβs rare these days.

My prediction for Lions' game against Browns 9/28/25. The Lions will score 32 points. The Browns' running game will be weak but will pass for 250 yards. Why so many yards passing? because the Lions' defensive pass coverage sucks the big bahoona. Final score: Detroit 32 Cleveland 21. Those 3 touchdowns by Cleveland will be from the passing game. Also, DO NOT make the mistake made many times by the Lions, do not take ANY team for granted. ANY team.
Time to prove we're better than green bay
Bro is a celebrity lol love it π
Go Lions!
Sewell needs to be assigned to Garrett in a special case this week, I think. It would be the best trench matchup of the season, bar none. Go Lions π¦
Browns defense for the win
Be careful my Detroit Lions donβt drop the ball instead catch the ball
Go lions π¦!!
Think think think smart
lose when you lose win when you win if you know, you know, if you donβt know you donβt know you know?
Go lions π¦π!!!
