Seems fairly close, especially among the top 4 teams. Brewers, Cubs, and Blue Jays are a bit behind. Not a lot of love for the Tigers.

  1. It’s all so dumb.

EDIT: For those downvoting my comment, allow me to elaborate. Odds are predictably fluid and meaningless and often don’t translate into what ultimately unfolds in reality. The Yankees’ odds, for example, improved significantly based upon their and Schlitter’s performances in Game 3 of the Wild Card… as well as them becoming the first team in the Wild Card era to blee blee blee and blah blah blah, which was going to happen for some team eventually. Whether or not they’ll be able to carry that success the rest of the way is unknown. Any of the remaining teams could win it all.

    Odds are meaningless.

  2. I’m as much of a Brewer’s hater as the next Cubs fan but damn is +700 shortchanging their odds

  3. If you swap Seattle and Toronto this is approximately the reverse order of what I want.

  4. Team Payroll for comparison

    Los Angeles Dodgers $350.3 million

    New York Yankees $300.1 million

    Philadelphia Phillies $290.2 million

    Toronto Blue Jays $255.3 million

    Chicago Cubs $211.9 million

    Seattle Mariners $164.5 million

    Detroit Tigers $157.5 million

    Milwaukee Brewers $121.6 million

  5. Yeah, right. 49ers had a 14% chance to win last night. Y’all keep buying ESPN’s hogwash.

  6. LMAO at the Yankees being the favourites — they are too dependent on Judge. If Judge goes into a slump
or (god forbid) gets injured, they are cooked, pure and simple.

  7. I’m assuming the dodgers dogshit bullpen performance lately is keeping them from being the clear betting favourite. And I’m kinda surprise the brewers aren’t getting much respect.

  8. I’m glad that I don’t understand what any of this means. I plan to keep it that way.

  9. Ok so Toronto wins division and gets to sit back while Yankees play extra series

Toronto wins regular season vs Yankees 8-5 (without that Yankees would have won division)

Yankees now play as road team in Toronto for post season (they only beat Toronto a single game on road this season; Toronto is 6-1 at home

But the Yankees are fav to win World Series

  10. I’m probably in the minority here, but I hate that sports betting has gotten so normalized and prevalent

  11. I am assuming this is just based off the level of competition needed to get to the WS. Having to go theough the Brewers then Dodgers/Phillies for the cubs is a hell of a gauntlet

  12. My guess is whoever wins the Dodgers, Phillies series will become the clear favorites on FanDuel
