He does not get discouraged. I’m sure he does, he just never shows anybody. But that’s the attitude, the mindset, that’s allowed him to fast-track the process.
“We want to be mindful of that. I don’t want to fast-track it, but in terms of where he’s at right now, we want to keep making sure he’s progressing. … We all love it because he inspires other guys. They see what he’s doing. They see the toughness.”

To be fair, he’s a gritty defender at the PG spot. I think for some reason, fans have started looking at Dru as a bad PG, he’s okay, especially as a backup. He had solid runs last season. If Mitchell were to be the starting PG (he should be). Dru is a solid backup.
Dru Smith, when he got injured we went back to losing, so that’s all that needs to be said about how great Dru Smith is. He doesn’t get hurt, the now bum, Diva Warriors player would’ve stayed here. And we go on to win championship last season.
