Chicago Bears PERFECT TIME for BYE WEEK Bears Get 5 STARTERS BACK

What’s up, guys? Today, I want to talk briefly about why this is the perfect time for the by-week. The Bears are a team that has been beat up and ravaged by injuries early in the year. No other team in the league was missing as many starters as Chicago was in week four. Yet, somehow someway, this team did just enough to squeeze out a victory on the road in Las Vegas. This byee comes at a perfect time for the Bears and we could be getting back a handful of starters. Kyler Gordon, TJ Edwards, Grady Jarrett, Darnell Wright, and Coloulston Lovelin, our first round pick. All of these guys should be back and ready to go after the by-week. That’s a lot of talent. Kyler Gordon is not only one of the best nickelbacks in the league, but he plays the run extremely well. He covers slot receivers and he’s an effective blitzer. He has been missed a lot in this secondary, especially with JJ being out as well. TJ Edwards, meanwhile, he’s one of the better run stuffing linebackers in the league and he’s a leader on this defense. Grady Jarrett is our vocal leader on that defensive line. He brings energy and experience, but so far this year, he has not been effective on the field. I’m hoping that having two weeks off here with the by-week and not playing last game allows Grady to get healthy and then we can actually see him making impact plays on the football field. That would be huge. Darnell Wright’s return also would be a significant boost to our offensive line. He’s by far our best run blocker and he’s developing into one of the better pass blocking tackles in the league as well. He just needs to clean up his penalty issues. And then let’s talk about Coloulston Lovelin, our first round pick. A top 10 selection. I’ve seen guys in the media trashing this pick already and comparing his stats to Tyler Warren in Indie who’s having a big impact early on. Look, do not write off Colston Lovelin. This is Ben Johnson’s guy and he’s recovering from offseason shoulder surgery. Tight end is also one of the hardest positions to learn in the NFL. And it’s one of the more physical. You not only have to be fast and get open like a wide receiver and catch the football, but you got to take on defensive ends and be physical in the blocking game as well. Give Lovelin a little bit of time. And also, I don’t think many people noticed how involved he was early on in that Cowboys game. Three targets in the first six pass attempts. I think Lovelin was about to have a breakout game before getting hurt. Watch out for him after the by-week. Ben Johnson has big plans for this guy. But on top of all that, another key player returning who isn’t a starter is Austin Booker. A guy I expect big things from this year. He was probably our biggest breakout player early in camp in preeason. And he was playing his best football as a pro. If he can help our pass rush, his return would be a welcome addition. We need more help rushing the quarterback. And honestly, we need Austin Booker to provide an impact on this defense. I love where this team is entering the by-week. Heading into the season, I really disliked having a week five buy. But with how things have went this year, it couldn’t have come at a better time. How will this team respond with time to get healthy and prepare for a big-time showdown next Monday night? But simply put, this by week could not have come at a better time for the Bears. We’re beat up, missing more than a handful of starters, and somehow managed to limp into the buy on a twoame winning streak with some momentum. And now we could be getting a handful of starters back next week. Everyone except Jaylen Johnson could be ready to go. This is an opportunity for the Bears with a huge matchup coming up against the Commanders. Let me know in the comments how you guys are feeling. As always, I appreciate everybody who watches. Please remember to hit that like button for me. Stay tuned. And until next time, bear down.

  1. Let's not talk about Colston Loveland ever again…horrible pick… He gets arm tackled by cornerbacks. Tyler Warren is a BEAST! But Bears tried to be cute and show they were smarter than everyone else by seeing some hidden talent in Loveland. I will not forget and forgive Poles and Co for passing on Warren and Skattebo this past draft.

  2. 🐻⬇️✌️✝️
Jonah Jackson is not getting it done imo, what are the other options? Does anyone else feel the same or am I just not watching closely enough? Maybe I'm crazy. Thoughts?
HIT THAT LIKE BUTTON FOR SWIFT!!!

  3. Warren is better than Loveland. Its a fact. Not to mention he can be used all over the field. Oh and he wasn't coming off an injury. You don't draft the second best, injured prospect at a position with the 10th pick. When THE top prospect is still on the board. Numbers don't lie.

  4. The defense seems to be coming around…the offense will continue to improve..and there are many, many injuries on every team..this could be an interesting season. Could be alot of shootouts coming down to the last minute .

  5. With up to 2 to 4 players coming back on defense it will be a productive menace just like a guy I know in Indiana whenever he works with concrete. ⬇️😤😤😤😤

  6. Perfect time this year, yes for now we have no idea what the future holds, for now the perfect time. Yea give Loveland time, is there a choice? I wrote before the draft that I thought the Bears would take a tight end, just not the one they took. I hope that Loveland becomes everything you say he will and produce like Warren is. The problem is the Bears once again pick a wounded warrior who has added little to the team production. Hard to blame fans for not understanding why we passed on a top producer taking an injured player who we were told would be 100% before game 1. Once again, what we were told is not what we got. Yes very anxious to see what Austin will bring; he could be a game changer.

  7. Important, Bears fans have eyes and ears, Loveland is what he is, not his fault for the reaction to his availability. I'm sure he wants to play I'm also sure many here feel like we once again were taken for a ride, we were told many times and repeated on every Bear content provider that Loveland would be 100% day 1. We passed on the #1 TE for an injured player, something we came to accept from the Bears of old. Times and coaches change some stupid moves made by the Bears haven't. The reaction here and all over Bears nation does nothing to denigrate Loveland, we all hope he returns and burns up the field. The truth is that at this time he is not that guy while Warren is that guy. No one wants Colston to fail, would love to see him be all pro.

  8. Dyo and Sweat are making over 40million a year between them, and we are getting very little, more bad decisions by Poles, atleast Dyo was. Billings has been our best NT by far, so Grady coming back doesn’t do much for me.

  9. once again Chicago Bears should trade for stud running backs like Houston Rockets has a running back Pierce, Atlanta has a running back Allgeier, and Tampa Bay has a running back white

  10. We needed our starters as it should improve our win success. Injuries are my biggest concern this season & we have gotten a blessing @ OT! GO BEARS AND BEAR DOWN 🐻 ❤❤❤

  11. I don’t get all Bears games cause I live in AZ & I’m on a fixed budget. Like everyone else I guess. Ok just askin’, I’ve seen Cole Kmet as a productive player. Last year & this year CW doesn’t utilize Kmet much. Why? Predetermined plays? Why isn’t he involved more? Yep, I’m a Southsider. Da Bears!

  12. Who is getting moved to the Practice Squad when they come back? Dom Rob or Hardy? Dom has a Sack already. Hardy plays a role. But Edwards can play that role if back. Booker we can't wait. They will likely move a LB to the Squad when he's ready. Gordon…do you put McCloud on the practice squad? I would. Loveland and Wright I don't think hit IR.
