Hopefully, Zack Taylor shows that he can win games consistently without Joe Burrow. kind of the I think the you know um you know the tier to really being a good coach in the NFL is if you know some of your starting players goes out especially your starting quarterback if he ends up going out can you dial up plays can you you know go throughout the week and uh prepare in a different way to give your guys success as well that’s something that I want to see from Zack Taylor I see uh Chandler Rosa putting the C’s in there. And then hopefully the Bengals can get a dub in this one. The Bengals inactives for this game today. Germaine Burton is a healthy scratch. And I even read earlier, I believe it was uh Ben Baby actually tweeted out earlier in the week, Germaine Burton, you know, he said he’s been doing a good job. He’s been kind of turning the corner, doing things correctly during the off season, but he was late to a practice this week. So, um, you know, he’s been he’s been a healthy scratch for every single game so far this season. So, it’s not really a surprise that he’s a healthy scratch for this game either. But it definitely does not help that you’re late for practice. Noah Fant also dealing with a concussion, so he’s going to be inactive for today’s game. McKinley Jackson, Howard Cross, also healthy scratches for this game. And then Shamar Stewart, um he’s been dealing with an ankle injury for the past couple of weeks. So hopefully the Bengals will be able to kind of work back and get him back into the lineup next week or maybe even the week after. Hopefully, it’s next week, though, because uh if you guys watch the videos, I’m not the um you know, most confident in everybody else besides Trey Hendrickson out there for the Bengals at that defensive end/outside linebacker edge rusher spot. So, we’ll see what the Bengals can end up doing in this one. Haley Bailey also down in the chat putting her hooday in there as well, saying she’s at the game. Let’s go, Bengals. Uh Chandler Rosas asking about Cam Taylor Britt. Um he’s going to be good to go for this game. Uh he was good to go last week and it seems like he’s just continuing to uh you know make progress on that. I believe he had a hamstring injury is what he was dealing with. Um you know uh Paul Der about 40 minutes ago said he’s uh was questionable coming into this one, but he’s going to be active. So hopefully he can make a difference in this game for the Cincinnati Bengals. On the Broncos side of things, they didn’t really have a ton of um you know, notable guys. I don’t think that were really on their inactive list, but I did want to mention this. Marvin Mims Jr. was um listed as questionable on Friday and he’s going to end up playing in this game today most likely. He’s dealing with a hip injury that, you know, came up during practice with this week, but, you know, he hasn’t done a ton for for the Broncos in terms of pass catching on the offensive side of the ball, but he is a big time playmaker when it comes to punt return and kickoff return for the Broncos. So, that is definitely going to be a player on the Broncos side of things that um, you know, I’m going to be interested in seeing uh, you know, if he goes out there and can really contribute there. So, we’ll see what happens there with uh Marvin Mims Jr. um you know, in this game today. And you know, I’ve said it before. I said it during our our preview that we put out a couple of days ago. The Bengals right now sitting at 2-1. They might be, in my opinion, one of the worst, unfortunately, two-1 teams right now without Joe Burrow. Uh you see their offensive rankings, their defensive rankings right there. I honestly think their defense has probably played better than so far this year than what they did last year. Um, but still it’s still a work in progress right now. And the Broncos on the other hand might be the best one and two team right now in the National Football League. The past two games they have lost on uh game losing field goals right at the end of the game to the Colts and the Chargers. Um, you know, they ended up they did beat the Titans pretty handedly there 20 to2 in week one. But this is a very very good uh Broncos team. Hopefully the Bengals can um, you know, really have a good game along the offensive line, but we’ll talk about that here in just a little bit. So, you know, when we flipped the script from the Vikings to the Broncos, I sent our Broncos host, uh, Trace Mustakis a message, and I was like, “Hey, could you, you know, we’re 3 weeks in now. Could you just send send me some trends that you’ve seen so far from this Broncos team?” And he sent me a list of like 10 or 15 things, but um, I just narrowed it down to the top five here. So, in the first couple of weeks, this is what uh our Broncos host Trace Mustakis has uh you know, noticed the inconsistent run game, especially in the first half of games. You know, once they get into the second half, they kind of start getting it a little bit rolling on that front, but um you know, they’re averaging over 5 yards per carry right now on the run game. So, hopefully the Bengals can stop them from running in the second half as well. But he specifically said in the first half of games, they start off very, very slow um in the run game. also best pass rush in the National Football League. They lead the league right now or I guess they’re tied with the Rams for number one with uh in sacks right now in the National Football League. He also said Bo Knicks just overall has kind of been average so far this year. And just kind of looking at his stats, I haven’t really seen uh you know, I went back and watched some highlights from a couple of these Broncos games, but you know, Bo really hasn’t been this crazy playmaker so far for the Broncos. 64% completion percentage, over 500 yards, um five touchdowns to three interceptions. So, he’s not doing a lot of stuff um that’s going to go absolutely crazy for the Broncos. At least he hasn’t done it so far. Hopefully, this Bengals defense can really hold up in this game today. Also, this team is heavily penalized. They are averaging eight penalties per game, 72 penalty yards per game right now for this Broncos team. So, um, you know, they’re kind of hurting themselves, especially in different types of situations, some important situations, whether it’s third down or they’re driving down the field trying to score, whatever like that. They’re getting some of those false starts, pre- snap penalties, just stupid penalties overall for this Broncos team. So, hopefully they don’t clean that up for this game. And also, a very good secondary has kind of been hit or miss right now for this Broncos team. So, we will see. you know, Jake Browning has kind of been a little bit of a uh interception boy here in the first couple of weeks. Hopefully, he can take care of the football and um you know, just get the ball out quick and get the ball to his playmakers and you won’t have to deal with that pass rush. You won’t have to deal with that secondary tonight. So, just wanted to go over that as well. A couple trends for this Denver Broncos team. Man, you have got to be able to protect Jake Browning in this game. And I know a lot of uh you know, people really blame the offensive line about that Joe Burrow injury. Some people blame it on Joe Burrow holding the ball too long, but I kind of feel like look, what do you want Joe Burrow to do at the end of the day? You want him to go down or you want him to make plays? Probably want him to make plays. So far this season, it’s an absolutely insane stat. Jake Browning has been under pressure on 42 almost 43% of his dropbacks so far this year. And man, when you’re going against this uh when you’re going against this Broncos defense, this this one’s going to be a struggle this week. They are leading the league right now in sacks. They’ve got 12 sacks so far this season. And it’s not just those edge rushers. Those interior guys are doing a really, really good job getting some pressure. They also, this is an insane number. I thought it was fake. Uh, but I went to Pro Football Focus and I looked it up myself. The Broncos have 87 pressures through three games so far this season. They are getting the quarterback down. They are hitting the quarterback at a very, very high level. So, your offensive line has got their work cut out for them for this game tonight. Like I said, it doesn’t matter if it’s their, you know, their edge rushers, their their linebackers, their defensive tackles. Everybody for this Broncos defense right now is getting in the back field. Whether it’s Nick Bonito, he is leading the team right now in tackles and sacks. Jonathan Cooper also leading the team. I guess he’s tied with Nick Bonito in total tackles. He’s got two sacks so far on the season. And I, like I said, those interior guys, whether it’s DJ Jones or Zack Allen, man, they’re doing such a good they’re doing such a good job just getting pressure on the opposing quarterback. And and this Bengals offensive line so far this season has been rough. You know, Lucas Patrick, you know, they signed him in the offseason to play that right guard spot. And, you know, you really haven’t been able to do anything consistently since Lucas Patrick went down after that first drive of the season. Maybe it was the second drive. Either way, it doesn’t really matter. You go out, you sign Daltton Risner, and unfortunately, Daltton Risner just really hasn’t been able to live up to, you know, what a lot of people thought he was going to be, including myself as well. So, there might even be an opportunity today. Zack Taylor said it in the week leading up to this game. You might see Jaylen Rivers out there at that right guard spot. Um, you know, maybe Daltton Risner starts this game. Um, and maybe they just rotate in Jaylen Rivers for it. But he did say, Zack Taylor did say that that right guard spot right now is up for grabs. So, that is another position that we will continue to monitor in this game today. So, what is your confidence level in the Bengals offensive line? Let me know down inside the comments section. And what’s pretty crazy about Chase Brown, he’s actually got more yards after contact than he does just net rushing yards. I think he’s got like 96 yards after contact, which means he’s just constantly getting hit in the back field. You need the offensive line to step up. And look, we said it last week or leading up to this game as well. Maybe just switch it up. Put some AJ Perine in there to get some more carries. have four carries so far this season. You know, they put him in at the end of last week’s game and um you know, it was that that third and 12 and he ended up picking it up on just a draw up the middle. So whether it’s Taj Brooks, whether it’s Sam Per, Perod’s done a great job on kickoff returns. Like why not just put him in the game, too? Why not just put him in the game?
