  2. I believe the NBA is seriously doubting the Bulls. I believe they can be the 5-7 seed. The best thing Josh did last season was chill with the floaters and get to the rim for layups. His freethrows went up, along with his finishing and points. It’s like he remember he was a 6’8” guard.

  6. you should look at OKCs stats when SGA was injured and JG ran the team… they weren't SGA levels but they were always solid… PS playing for 3 years alongside SGA,, don't you think some of that might have rubbed off !

  8. Having only watched this podcast for the past year, I can say that Katy's commentary was the best part of the show. To say nothing of her professional ability, she will be hard to replace.

  9. Here we go for another season of juvenile adolescent noises from the grown (?) men of the CHGO panel. In the midst of all the grunts, squeaks and verbal diarrhoea we do occasionally hear some gems of wisdom, especially from Will G. Hope the Bulls youngsters can take the next step in their development and we can avoid resorting to that old Matt Peck chestnut: "We should be tanking…"

  10. Giddey is the cheapest "highest paid player" of any team in the league, and he's only even that by default because of the transitory stage the roster is in. Someone has to be the highest paid on a team with no star salaries…is $25m is more than the 3rd highest AAV anywhere else?

    For whatever roster accommodations you think his skillset requires, I don't think paying a 23yo $25m represents the same level of all in "playoffs or bust" commitment that the 30% cap hit for Zach's prime was supposed to be. Giddey being young enough to add picks next to, cheap enough to maneuver bigger salaries around, and still years away from peak performance/earnings offers much more flexibility.
