Will Michael Porter Jr. be a hero or a villain for Brooklyn fans this upcoming season? And I lean towards the former. I think hero might be a little strong, but I view MPJ as a player who can really help out these Nets rookie ball handlers in Jory, Nolan Troy, and Ben Saraf being a 6’10 sharp shooter and elite three-point shooter. I think that floor spacing will open things up for those rookie point guards and make their lives a little bit easier. Also, I think MPJ is going to have some struggles out of the gate in an expanded role as a ball handler, as a pick and roll guy, an isolation scorer, some of those things. And I think that those struggles could lend themselves to maybe some Nets losses out of the gate along with these Brooklyn rookies having a heavy role, you know, handling the ball. I think those losses will really serve to help boost this Net’s team’s draft positioning in a year where securing a top draft pick is going to be a huge
