Lonzo Ball Making Himself at Home With Cavs (Impressing Team!)

Lonzo Balls in Cleveland. They’re finding out how hard he is to contain and also how easy he makes the game this year. The Cavs pace will be incredible. [Music] Zo brings that pace. Zo, I mean, he brings, you know, like a real floor general um point guard. You know, he comes out pass first kind of guy and um great at getting his teammates open and he just he’s just he’s easy to play with. He really is. He, you know, he hustles. He’s a great great defender. Got fast hands. And then on the offensive end, you know, he’s finding he’s finding us when we’re open. I was just excited. I mean, no hard feelings with Chicago. A lot of love for them as well. Um, but happy to be in Cleveland. Lonzo ball eyes wise, you know. We are at Cleveland. Let’s go get some pieces for the house, man. I didn’t know that was a basketball. Yeah. Lucky my pants are a little tight right now or I can get in a stance. Hey, watch out now for the lamp now. She might need it. That’s a good sturdy lamp. those tables with these little There we go. $40. Yes, that’s what I’m talking about. 30. But that also caught the corner of my eye. That pop of green. What’s the details on that chair over there? I can’t talk about it too too much until I get a nice sense of the comfortability. I’m a big comfort guy. It’s on a roller, too. That’s pretty nice. Big seat, man. Put a dog up here, my girl, my daughter. You know what I’m saying? A lot of people can go up here. Color is really nice, but it’s just not going to work for the crib, unfortunately. I just think that, you know, I’m here to help win the championship. um do my part and and just be a good teammate. Well, it helps that I already knew a couple of the guys already. Um we got a couple 2017 draft class guys on the team, so that helps. Um but like I said, everybody here has been cool, man. Open me u welcome me with open arms. Haven’t had any, you know, problem situations, nothing like that. So, I think that um as long as we play for one another, we’ll be fine. They were playing tremendous basketball, but you know, at the end, you you know, hope for the best, but injuries definitely set them back. Yeah, it’s just an ongoing um conversation with me and the staff. um take it day by day. Obviously, you know, depends on how I’m feeling, but you know, I’m looking forward to being healthy for as many games as possible. I mean, nobody’s 100 at the end of the year, but to be as um close to that as possible is definitely the goal. You didn’t play back. Um I think I can bring a lot on the court and off the court as well. So, um everybody here that I’ve been, you know, getting along with has been, you know, fine. Nobody here has like any attitude that I’ve seen. So, um looking forward to get started, man. since I was a kid. Um, I was usually one of the bigger players on my team because my dad just liked playing with the my brothers and the local kids around. So, I was a point guard center, I guess. So, I’ve guarded a lot of different players, you know, growing up and my other two brothers didn’t play very much defense, so I had to I had to pick up the slack. Um, I think the offense is free flowing. I think Kenny gives I mean, I don’t know him too well, but just being around him, I think he gives a lot of freedom to his players. I definitely think he’s a player’s coach, so that’s always a great thing to have. And um as far as where I fit, like I said, hit open shots, you know, push the pace and um just make sure people in the right spots. What does legacy mean? Uh I mean, that’s a broad question. I think legacy really just depends on when you look back at your life and in the mirror and if you’re happy with yourself, then that’s really all that matter. Um I mean, from top to bottom, you got to be ready to go. This is the NBA. Um, you know, the next day you can be playing, the next day you can’t be playing. But either way, you got to always stay ready. You never know when your number’s going to get called. And I would say, um, just be prepared. Uh, I feel great. Um, I’ll be fine, you know, full goal. Um, looking to come in and get started right away. Yeah, hopefully it’s some uh, as Kenny says, controlled chaos. So, um, I got a lot of free reign, you know, go for a lot of steals and blocks and stuff like that. So, I don’t see that changing, you know, at all this year. So, just go out there, play hard, and try to anticipate and get some get some good plays going. You know, sometimes you just can’t call it, but um it’s a new year, everybody’s excited, everybody’s happy to get going. So, um, tomorrow starts training camp and so looking to, you know, get training camp going in preseason and then right into game one.
