Well he has ties to the Vols, right? That’s what popped into my head when I saw this.
I personally wouldn’t mind giving him a shot… i mean its not like we are going to find a HC sitting around with Cally or Bo Hardegree calling the plays (I’d honestly just see it as a long form interview with low odds of success. Essentially just due diligence of a potential candidate that would probably not work out… but who knows and frankly i’m at the point that i’d overlook a lot for a HC that can get us back to mid levels).
That said, I’m not the owner of the Titans, and I find it very unlikely Amy hires someone who resigned over homophobic and mysogynistic language… Same reason I never even considered the Titans would take a shot at Deshaun Watson despite needing a QB. Amy for all her faults genuinely sees this organization as part of her family and she isn’t likely to invite a mysogynist or an alleged sexual assaulter to the table.
I’d advise fans to find/suggest different candidates that Amy might be more on board with.
