I have been saying this since the 2011 playoffs… the Tampa Bay Lightning are the redheaded stepchildren of the NHL. They _hate_ us. But y’know what? That just makes those rings our team has won shine a bit brighter, because we had to play better and fight harder to earn them.

Sabourin should get a $2500 fine. His play was identical to what Greer did except his first check was legal so technically it was less bad.
Greer. Crosscheck to the back away from the ice. High-stick/punch to the face. Two full punches to the face. That’s 4 roughings in a row.

Then we go to Moser and Verhaugue. Moser with a dangerous board to the head. Verhaugue with a dangerous board to the head.
Each of those should be the same penalty.
The fact that the Tampa player will face a sterner discipline in both instances is obscene.
