[Music] The New York Giants lose to the New Orleans Saints 26-4. An embarrassing performance for Big Blue from top to bottom. This game had trap game written all over it and the New York Giants unfortunately were not ready to overcome that. They start the game hot, scoring two touchdowns on their opening drives for the first time in five years, but then they were outscored 23 to zero. And it all is because you did not take care of the football. But it all was a ripple effect from that drop by Darius Sllayton. Early in the game, Jackson Dart threw a beautiful ball down the field to Darius Sllayton. That would have put the Giants inside the 10yd line, but he dropped it. He dropped it. And guess what? He dropped it because that is what he does. Joe Shane, you’re an idiot for resigning Darius Sllayton. I told you when it happened, you shouldn’t have done it and you did. You decided to pay Darius Sllayton $36 million. That’s the money that Saquon Barkley wanted. But you decided Darius Sllayton should have it. You should have let him go just like you let his butt buddy Daniel Jones go. But the gift of Darius Sllayton does not stop there. He also then fumbled the football deep in enemy territory. So he can’t hold on to the football and he cannot catch the football. You lost today’s game because of Darius Sllayton dropping the football, fumbling the football. You have a C on your chest, Darius Sllayton. You’re supposed to set the example. You’re the longest tenure Giant on this team. And that’s why you should have left because you’re a losing football player. The Giants should have swept all of the losing funk out of the building, but they did not. They rewarded you for mediocre play with $36 million. And now you’re stuck with him cuz he has a $16 million cap hit next season. Nice [ __ ] job, Joe Shane. Nice job. You weren’t hit, you weren’t touched, and you let it go. What sucks is Jackson Dart was money in the first two drives for the Giants. Was he perfect today? No, he was not. Does anything today I saw change what I think of Jackson Dart? Not really. He had a really bad underthrow on the play to Darius Sllayton. How about Darius Sllayton who makes $12 million though tries to make a contested catch. Not going to do that. He’s a wide receiver five making wide receiver two money. The interceptions by Dart, I don’t really blame him. The one to the right where he throws it on fourth down, it it was essentially a punt on fourth down trying to make a play out of nothing. The other one, Bo Collins. Bo Collins. Bo Collins just stopped on the route. He just stopped on the route. All the people that told me, “Marshall, we don’t need to make a move for a receiver. We don’t need to go out and get a receiver. We got Darius Sllayton, we got Janelle Robinson, we got Jaylen Hyatt, and we got Bo Collins. We don’t need to go out and get a receiver.” If you said that with no respect, you’re an idiot. You’re an idiot because we saw today no one could get open, no one could catch the football, and no one could hold onto the football. You know how you mess up a rookie quarterback’s development?   10. I thought the only way the Giants could be competitive this year, is if the defensive line dominates. They don’t, the Chargers game was a Mirage. The Chargers Oline is decimated. This is looking like a 2 to 3 win season.

  13. Appreciate the hell out of you Marshall. Chances are we clear house right? But this was not an unexpected result from this team. Last week sure felt good, but this was the most likely outcome for this one on the road with a desperate franchise. This week felt real bad. I hope lessons were learned. And for sure we need a better receiver. Was Lil’Jordan Humphrey just a preseason mirage?

  25. This is why Dart should not be playing. He should not even show up to the games until Schoen, Daboll and company are gone. The Giants are going to do everything they can to ruin Dart the same way they did everything they could to ruin Daniel Jones. The team is garbage from top to bottom and there i just a stank permeating everyone and everything that comes in contact with this organization and until that changes the team will not win. Once this whole regime is gone and start fresh and actually put some talent around the QB then and only then should Dart next see the field.

  27. I tired telling giants fans this was a trap game saints have played nothing but playoff caliber teams and have been in everyone of those games minus the Seahawks but I wouldn’t feel too. Down darts a rookie and gotta develop he’s gonna be good for a long time .
