We got week seven college football, but all week long we’re going to have MLB playoffs, WNBA finals, and the NHL starting up on Tuesday. Between the Jacksonville Jaguars and the Kansas City Chiefs, the Jacksonville Jaguars 3-1 straight up and against the number could easily be 4-0 if we’re if we’re being honest after, you know, they had that loss against the Bengals. They’re coming off a 26-21 win over the San Francisco 49ers in their last matchup while the Kansas City Chiefs 2-2 straight up and against the number this season. Coming off a back-to-back wins, the most recent one being that victory over the Baltimore Ravens 37-20. And that follows up the win over the Giants. And you got to remember, I mean, this is still a uh a Chiefs team that I think is still really solid. you know, they just they had the the opening loss to the Chargers, you know, in the international game and then a three-point loss to the defending champions in the Super Bowl rematch. Um, but since then, they held the Giants to nine points and really took it to a Baltimore offense that, you know, I should say Baltimore team in general that was just banged up, but also just really can’t get any stops early on. Now, if you’re the Kansas City Chiefs, you face the Jacksonville defense that, yeah, you know, gave up 31 points to the Cincinnati Bengals. But the other three teams, they’ve held to 21 points or less, including 10 points in each of their two home games this season against Houston and Carolina. And even in that game that they lost against the Cincinnati Bengals, they still picked off Jake Browning three times. So, I think that the Jacksonville Jaguars defense is is is for real. And you look at Jacksonville just overall this season. I mean, through their first four games, you know, 12th um excuse me, uh 13th in total defense, 12th in yards per play. They’re top five against the rush. They’re top 10 in yards per carry allowed. Where you can get this Jacksonville defense is through the air. They’re 22nd in pass defense, but they’re only 18th. They’re just below league average in yards per completion. They’re just outside. And I’m not all that sold on this Kansas City offense who I really wasn’t, you know, all that enthused with outside of that win over the Baltimore Ravens. And like I said, this is still a banged up Ravens defense. So, I think that Jacksonville is going to be a bit of a step up here. But on the other side, I want to see what this Jacksonville team is going to do against Kansas City defensively. Kansas City’s defense is still legit as well. They’re top 10 against the pass. they, you know, they’re, you know, a team that you can run on, but if you, if you go with a runheavy approach for the Jacksonville Jaguars, I think that’s only going to lead to a lot of clock being chewed up in this game. And I think we’re going to have a bit of a lowercing, more defensive kind of game. You know, maybe a, you know, first to 21 or 23 wins kind of game here. I could easily see 24 21 2420, something that falls around this number. So, I’m going to go with the under here. I think, like I said, I think it’s going to come close to this total, but I think you’re going to have um, you know, a bit more of a defensive battle here and what’s going to be an interesting game to see where these two teams are at, you know, just from a uh, from an overall perspective on both sides. So, give me the under here between the Jaguars and the Chiefs. And that’s going to be my free pick.
