Let’s start with you here, Howie. Your impression here of some of the early games that are finished. I, you know, we talked about Dallas early on, you know, with multiple offensive linemen outs, CD Lamb out, this kid Williams. Uh, you know, Dak with a running game with some pieces around him. Flournoy 140, 14 yards. Pickens big touchdown catch. Dak is playing as good as I’ve ever seen Dak play with with kind of people that you’re not, you’re not used to seeing. Uh, it’s pretty remarkable. I refuse to get excited. I love Dak. I think Dak’s a great player. I think he’s well. You’re looking at playoffs and going on, yeah, I get it. I mean, it’s kind of like we’re reading the same book. I’ve read this book too many times. I’m gonna keep reading the same thing, kind of like looking looking and looking now the Giants are just bad, but this is like at least we’re not being fooled and teased. We just realized we’re bad from the beginning. But here you’re feeling good and he’s just throwing it all around the field and they’re running it all down the field and you know they bring pickings and you have a big game, but when it Comes down to the playoffs and the pressure of that. That’s when I wanna see how the, how the Cowboys respond. But until then, I like to good for them for winning games and good for their fans for believing that this is the year. Good for you, but when it comes down, push comes to shove later on, you are bitter. I’m not, you’re bitter right now. You know what you are. I know what you are. You know what you are. You’re concussed. Yeah, I did get hit in the eye. I don’t feel like myself. So you’re basically saying that. The Dallas had no pressure on him. They went in, 04 jets, uh, you know, all eyeballs were were on them because they were playing in New York. But without that pressure being on them, they can play free is what you’re saying. And when the Dallas Cowboys are playing free, that’s when they’re phenomenal. That’s when they’re putting up all the points. But I’m worried about their defense and big time games like last week versus the Green Bay Packers. They let up 40 points versus them. So I get it. What Stre is saying when the pressure is on, when they’re playing an easy team, they can dominate when that pressure is on though, can. They come through like you said, we will see in the future. I thought the Jets, the Jets are supposed to have a good defense, aren’t they supposed to be not this year, not this, I thought it was all right. Their defense is all right, you know, but the Cowboys, everything about Dallas is gonna be our judgment of Dallas is gonna be playoffs and, and winning and, and, and to your point about Dack, I get it. Loud light it up, throw for yardage, throw for a touchdown. They’re running the ball. They are doing that, they’re doing that. With an offensive and they’re doing it with a lot of faces that we’re not used to seeing Gervonta Williams coming over, George Pickens coming over, and remember CD Lamb is still out right now. He will be back at some 0.34 offensive linemen out. Well, who’s that say I’m just saying today it was great. That’s all I’m saying. And they get to 500, they’re 22 and 1 on the season. They play great football. Yeah. So now you’re jumping on this one. I didn’t know. I didn’t pick that game. I picked it. You said they’d win. You told me. How about we put that game in the rearview mirror.

  4. Normally the Cowboys start hot and we have expectations and they fall apart. I like that the turmoil is in the beginning of the season but they’re playing pretty well. If this was under McCarthy they’d be 1-4 with all the injuries. Weirdly, the only game they definitively lost was vs Chicago. They very easily should be 4-1. Let’s see what they do when they get healthy. If they’re right there in the mix before the trade deadline, Jerry might just make a big move for a defensive player.

  5. As a die-hard Cowboys fan, it's nice to see the defense play lights out against a Jets team looking for answers, but I want to add another tid bit into this discussion here about the Cowboys. If you look at the numbers through 5 games of the season, the Cowboys have been playing some good football. Now granted if they didn't lose to the Bears and had a tie with the Packers, we could easily be 4-1 right now, but I digress. If the Cowboys defense can just get to above average with the way this offense is playing, they can most definitely challenge the Eagles for the division and make the playoffs. To go into a game with no Lamb, Turpin, and 4 O lineman out, and you still put up almost another 40 burger against an NFL team, I don't care what the people are saying, but that is some great stuff for the Boys. Dak Prescott is playing like an MVP this year, and he needs to be in that discussion through 5 games. Look at these numbers for the Cowboys through 5 games of the season:

    1. #1 in total offense
    2. Dak Prescott 2nd in passing
    3. Jake Ferguson 2nd in recieving
    4. George Pickens 2nd in TDs
    5. Javonte Williams 2nd in rushing
    6. O Line allowing 2 sacks

    These are numbers that are unheard of and should be mentioned.

  8. Dallas wasn’t predicted to be good this season and maybe they won’t be. The media is moving the goalpost on the cowboys every time and it’s funny. This team isn’t a good team but to say winning isn’t impressive because they need to show in the playoffs when this current cowboys team wasn’t even seen as a legit contender this season is comical to me.

  10. Dak has been good. Only qb with consecutive 400yd games. Only qb with 12 win seasons 3yrs straight. Bad coaches. Bad offensive coordinator. Horrible gm. Horrible owner. Dak is not a perfect qb none of them are,but he is not as bad as people claim him to be. "Dak can't win the big game". It takes an organization.

  15. Yes, just look at his pocket awareness and accuracy of his throws, not to mention him reading defenses better knowing when to audible to a counter play. Much better than previous seasons where he would look like a deer in headlights and throwing wobbly overhead passes. Oh, and to add one thing, Strahan has the worst takes. Sports, politics, he's a clown. 🤡
