I have concerns about ASP staying with the big club: the number 44 is aesthetically ugly, his game is too pretty for that.
Also bought some Red and White AF1s in anticipation of the season.

Trying not to get hyped until I see opening night roster. Todd is prepping us to not look too much into today and yesterday.

When does the roster drop?
Here’s hoping we have at least 2 rookies on the opening night roster. Even if it’s just a temporary thing. I have no illusions about this gauntlet of an opening stretch of games – you couldn’t really ask for more of a “Welcome to the NHL” schedule and there will be warts, but it’s exciting to see the young bucks making so much progress!
Stevie said it would take a long time, and he was right, it took a LONG time.
BUT we can now see the end result of his vision for the Red Wings.
Lucas, Mo, Marco, MBN, ASP, Simon, AlJo, Elmer, Finnie, Nate (when healthy). All Stevie draft picks. All on the team. Throw Cat in there (traded a 1st round pick for him). Mazur is close. Cossa is close.
The free agents he signed to keep the Wings competitive so a losing culture didn’t set in. They are starting to fall off the roster.
I’m excited. I feel like we finally start to see what his plan has been.
