We’re going to break down the two matchups and try to predict the outcome, the winner, loser, final score. and we’ll also take a look at our best bets, the money lines, the spreads, the overunders for every single game. Let’s not waste any more time. There’s only two games, but they’re two very good matchups. The very first one, 4:08 p.m., the 94 and 68 New York Yankees on the road versus the 94 and 68 Toronto Blue Jays. This game is more than business. This is a personal matchup. Both these teams coming out of the AL East. The Yankees second place, the Blue Jays first place cuz they won the head-to-head matchup. But these are two really good offenses facing off. And the Blue Jays took game one the other day. The Yankees, they don’t want to drop to 0 and2. They want to make sure to win this game. Try to get back to New York not being down. And that’s the goal here. Yankees 56% chance to win. The Blue Jays 44% chance. Toronto’s the underdog. The Yanks 1 and a half run favorites. An 8.5 overunder. New York minus 156. Toronto plus 130. But you don’t want to sleep on either of these teams. These are two really good offenses. Two of the best overall rounded offenses in the American League. Yankees are in the regular season. 5.2 runs per game, hitting 251 team average. 274 home runs. That was number one in baseball. And it wasn’t even close. This team hits a lot of homers, 134 steals. Obviously, Judge leading the way with 53 home runs, a 331 average during the regular season. The team rate 3.91, which is really good. They had a lot of injuries to their starting rotation. Still, they continue to pitch well, especially down the stretch. Toronto 4.9 runs per game. 265 team batting average, the highest batting average in baseball for the team. 191 home runs, 77 of 4.19 runs per game. on the mound for the Blue Jays. Trey Yavage on the mound. 22 years old. This guy’s a rookie. Only pitched 14 innings this year. He had uh 16 strikeouts. He is a strikeout pitcher, but it is a very tall task to ask him at home to take on this Yankees lineup game to playoff atmosphere. It’s going to be crazy. There’s a lot riding on this game, but the Yankees, they want this game to try to get back to 500 within this series. The Blue Jays wanted they want to put the Yanks down 0 and2 going into game three. Unfortunately for Toronto, they’re going up against Max Freed. He’s pitched very well during the playoffs so far this year. 19 and5 overall record, 2.86 year, 189 strikeouts. And it’s the way he was doing it. He was controlling. He was the Sai Young favorite for probably the first half of the season. He had 195.1 innings. He was eating up innings, conserving the bullpen. This is the guy you want going against the rookie. This is a very positive match up for the Yankees. Not saying that that’s going to automatically get them to win, but Freed verse a rookie playoff atmosphere. Give me the Yankees outright winning this game. I have them covering the spread. And I’m going to go with the over. And guys, this is easily the best pitching match up of the day. This is actually one of the best pitching match ups of the playoffs so far. 8:03 p.m. today. The 87 and 75 Detroit Tigers versus the 90 and 72 Seattle Mariners. Detroit finished second place in the L Central. Seattle won the AOS fully rested here because they had the week off. The Mariners 46.7% chance to win the Tigers a 53.3. Tigers won game one. They’re up 10 here on the road versus the Mariners. Tigers are the favorites here. One and a half run favorites. A six overunder. Very lowscoring game according to Vegas. Uh Detroit minus 134, Seattle plus 113. But I’ll call it like this with this pitching matchup. This game is a true 5050 pick. I could go either way. You can make a very solid case for either one of these ball clubs to walk away with the win. Tigers come in here. They’re averaging 4.7 runs a game. Hitting .247 198 home runs. 61 sealsing of 3.95 runs a game. Seattle. Seattle very well-rounded roster. 4.7 runs a game. 244 average 238 home runs. It’s top three in baseball. 161 steals. That’s top five and only giving up 3.87 runs a game. But it’s all about the pitching this game. Scubble will be on the mound for the Detroit Tigers. One of the best pitchers in baseball. Some will say the best pitcher in baseball. 1 and0 record for the playoffs so far. 1.17 right. Just to show you how good he’s pitching. He pitched 7.2 innings in the playoffs. He has 14 strikeouts. That’s two strikeouts for every inning in the playoffs. During the regular season, 13-6 record, a 2.21 RA, 241 strikeouts. Like I said, he’s one of the best. But Lewis Castillo for the Seattle Mariners is going to be trying to match him blow forblow. Finished the season 11 and8 record 3.54 year rate 162 strikeouts. Very solid overall pitcher. He’s one of the most consistent reliable pitchers in baseball. Career 3.55. He gives you the same performance week in and week out. I would say the this game is so tough to call because you have the Tigers coming in here with Scubal pitching at an elite Sai Young caliber level, but they’re on the road verse the Mariners verse Lewis Castillo at home. Very difficult game to call, but I’m going to go with the Tigers. Give me Detroit pulling off the W, going up 2. I have them winning this game. I have them covering the spread. And I’ll go with the over. The only reason that I say that is that’s a very low overunder. Guys, that’s our breakdown for our two playoff caliber games we have coming up this Sunday, October 5th.
