Those are not the types of games that Super Bowl teams lose, and especially not in that fashion. That’s the closest thing to a “free win” we were going to get in the midst of this absolute gauntlet. I’m literally beside myself right now, I can’t even compose a comment. Over half the team should have to fucking hitchhike back to KC.
Defense has played a major part in losing two games. As much shit as we’ve given the offense, good god this fucking defense isnt clutch.
Next has gotta be a must win against a really good team.

What a disgrace of a game. 12 penalties. The pick 6 was awful. Letting Lawrence fall down twice and still score the winning TD. Most uncharacteristic chiefs game I have seen in the Andy Reid era.
Reid has to put the foot on the gas on difficult teams. We should’ve had at least two more touchdowns

Defense lost the game but Mahomes pick 6 INT was a big factor too. Time to go bed pissed. 😡
If he’s not shanking field goals he’s giving our opponent the ball at the 40 on a boneheaded kick out of bounds. I’m so fucking sick of Butker.
That defensive drive up 14-0 is the catalyst for all this. Phantom PI on 3rd and 15 and dropped maybe the easiest INT of all time

This defense couldn’t tackle an armchair.
Out-gained JAX by 150 yards, won the turnover battle, and still lost the game. Can’t imagine that has happened very often in the Mahomes era.
Sick of Butker finding a way to fuck up every week
The Jags game winning drive literally started with Lawrence dancing around and burning 30 seconds and a timeout out to gain a total of three yards. And they still found a way the game winning TD.
Yuck.
That Mahomes pick six is still the defining moment of the game for me. 14 point swing there
Butler kicking the ball out of bounds. They basically started the last drive at midfield.
Very, very frustrating. If Mahomes doesn’t throw that redzone int we most likely win despite the horrendous penalties and specialteams play. But I will say it was a good defensive play and those things will happen. However, what we can control is NOT having 13 penalties worth over 100 yards. Undisciplined football means you can’t make any mistakes and hope to win – well, we did both: play undisciplined and made one too many mistakes.
The road ahead is tough. We have to beat the Lions no way around it. Our margin for error is nigh nonexistent.
