Chicago Cubs vs Milwaukee Brewers – GAME 2 FULL HIGHLIGHTS | October 6, 2025 MLB Playoffs
Ashb will work against Justin Turner who hasn’t appeared in a postseason game since 2022 with the Dodgers. And the first pitch from Ashby 98 telling the corner. We’re underway. Bush who has homered in back-to-back games but starts on the bench as Turner takes one off the hands and flies out to left to begin the night. And her serves this into right for one out single. Suzuki drives one to left. That ball is gone. Seya Suzuki with a three-run homer. There’s his line right at Bryce Terang at second and the inning is over to Churio. The first career playoff start for Imanaga and Churio strikes out. The winning formula all year for Milwaukee. Backto back Ks to begin the night for Imanaga since the moment he arrived in Chicago. This is served to left by Contraras for a two-out hit around the corner at first and scamper back. A heartbeat of this team and Yich hits this to left. A two out rally for the Brewers. Another payoff and it’s a high fly ball to left field. Cap underneath it in front off the wall. This ball’s gone. Andrew Vaughn ties the game with one swing. He’s done it again. Freelick gets underneath one. And that’ll end the inning. But we’re right back where we started. Petco Armstrong now who pops one up in the infield. Caleb Durban off third makes the catch and he pops this up right field. Freelick in front of the track. Two. And her pops it up. It should end the inning. Freelick is there and Kitridge, but still. There’s a fly ball to right. Suzuki takes a couple of steps in. Perkins is down on strikes. Two two fly ball. Suzuki is there and it’s a one, two, three second for Ianagago. Tucker gets a piece of it. Nicely played by Turn on a short hop. A couple moments ago, Lauren caught up with Craig Councel. Payoff pitch. Strike three. Half tied up. Runner takes off from first. It’s grounded right back to Mizarowski and he’ll jog all the way to the bag. Right or compromised middle finger on your left hand. Contras with a drive to left field and the Brewers have the lead. A no doubt shot from William Contrarus faces Pete Pro Armstrong here and he fans Pete Pro Armstrong. Another one. Swanson hung up. Miz arowski tying him in a knot. Matt Shaw, as you mentioned earlier, Ron, he’s done a great job drawing walks in this series. and he flies one to left field. Tailing away from Churio towards the corner and he makes the catch in front of the railing. Churiel with a drive center field way back there and gone. A threerun shot from Jackson Cheerio and the Brewers lead seven to three. Baseball and the percent of runs scored via the homer. Trying to lay down a bunt for a hit is Terang. He pops it up instead and Pomeran makes the catch. Tucker strikes out. Four Ks for Miserowski. Suzuki with the fly ball to right. Shallow Freelick run out of room perhaps. He makes the catch against the railing. Popped up. Jurio long way to go. Loses his hat. Makes the catch and foul ground. And the inning is over. [Applause] Strike three on the outside corner. Contras not happy with the call. Marggo’s on 3-2. Freelick sticks the bat head out there and flies one to shallow right. Suzuki makes the catch. Finds himself in the postseason here with the Brewers. And he gets Kelly for the first down of the sixth. Two-2 for Armstrong is down on strikes. Q shot first base side. It’s a fair ball. Vaughn will make the flip. It’s a one, two, three, six for Chad Patrick. There’s a fly ball to left field. Pat going back. That ball is tracked down by Pete for Armstrong. Another [Applause] hard hit ball. Diving stop by Swanson and he throws wide to the back at second. This gets all the way to right field and both runners will move up. Chopper to second. Charges and makes the play and the inning is over. [Applause] Quick K with Shaw getting fanned. Chopper first base side. Tough play from Fawn. He’ll flip to the cover and they get the out. Bang bang play and Kan. Eight straight retired by Milwaukee pitching. First pitch swing for Nicoer. That’s a fly out to right. And it’s time to get up and stretch. He goes, “But we don’t just compete. It doesn’t always look pretty, but we find ways to win.” And that’s what we’re going to continue to do. Swanson gets one at second and they turn two. A double play to end the inning. 643. But the Cubs are running out of time as he dealt with a flexer strain late in the season. Popped up foul ground in the infield. Long run for Durban. 2-2. What does he go with? He gets a popup. Long way to run for Freelick coming in. He waves off Tang. Makes the catch on two hops. Secured by Horner. The flick for one and Swanson with a strong throw for the 463 double play. [Applause] There goes Perkins. Ortiz pops it up. Suzuki is there. And we head to the ninth. Got him. Devastating slider from MIB. PCA down on strikes. Got him. Aribe strikes out the side in the ninth. And the Brewers have a strangle hold in this series.

How many great pitchers can one team have…Brewers look like Champions to be to me.
I need the brewers to win the world series and packers to win the superbowl, and it will be a very good year!!!
Iβm confused! I was informed by every baseball analyst that the brewers couldnβt hit the long ball???ππ
Yall have a software update available btw π
My favorite thing is watching fan reactions man. It feels so good to see this team succeeding
Vaughn is back with the dingers! ππ½π―π₯βΎοΈ 2-0 lead BABY!
Two down, nine to go.
Jackson Chourio is hitting .556. With 5 HR and 9 RBI in 5 post season games
@5:14 π
The fan in me is absolutely loving this. The tin foil hat wearing me is waiting for this to come crashing down. The PA wants no part of brewers making a World Series run. When the cba expires next year, this team would be used by the owners as a reason to have a salary cap. Look! You can win with a team that has a payroll thatβs 1/3rd of the team wit the highest payroll!
Will PCA ever be any good again? I have my doubts.
Miz was excellent
I LOVE THIS TEAM!
I was at this game and it was so fun, Lets go Brew Crew π€
0-2 pitch to jackson was the dagger. right down the middle.
wouldnt call it a stranglehold. the cubs can easily win 2 at home. and bring it back for a one game win and in scenario. the phillies are toast after loosing 2 home games
Why can't the Cubs keep any of these games close? Really boring baseball by Chicago.
Awesome game Milwaukee Brewers one more win and Chicago and Will be eliminated hopefully it will be game 3
… something I remember, maybe not exactly, I heard Pat Murphy say in answer to a reporter's question of game 2's starting pitcher …
"Ah, Aaron, is that what they call him, Aaron Ashby? I always call him just Ashby, he knows who I mean …"
At 4:20 where tf is the ump going
Not a fan, but Brewers over Chicago any day!
The Brewers' bullpen is truly amazing.
On TV the announcers noted that the three-run homer was the first ever for the Brewers in the playoffs.
Three innings later it happened a second time.
I think this team can make the finals
Goodbye Chicago π
The arrogance of some of these Cubs fans… wake up
Cubs will win in 3;
