If you are ever in Hawaii you might run into one of these beautiful birds. Also called the Red-crested or Brazilian Cardinal, they were introduced to the state of Hawaii in the 1930s. What a beautiful bird! Very much unlike the Cardinals introduced to the state of Arizona in 1988 who provide pain and suffering.
