But the fans are the ones who are burdened with for the rest of their lives. They don’t know what to do with their a hat anymore. Manfred actually waved fees that you usually have to pay in order to move from one city to another. So they were greasing the skins. They wanted ma baseball out of Oakland. A lot of the owners these days don’t get into it because they love baseball. You know, in the past there were family teams were familyowned. The key buzz word here is competitive balance, but really it’s competitive imbalance. Not spending it is it’s stealing. Let’s put let’s call it what it is. It’s steal it.

I’m a Pirates fan, love the history of the A’s. Obviously, as a Bucco’s fan. I really only pay attention to my disdain for Bob Nutting. It’s sad what is happening with the A’s. Historical organizations that deserve so much better. Now, is she referring to revenue sharing money? Because that is an obscene amount of money handed out. Nutting pockets all of it, and it should be treated as criminal. We need change in baseball. Just once it would be nice to see a superstar play their whole career where they were drafted. Instead of the YanKees, Cubs, Red Sox, Dodgers(even worse than the Yankees, and their fans are a whole other level of douchebaggery). Anyway, from one disenfranchised fan, to you guys. Truly wish you guys the best, A’s are a team I always got behind, probably my favorite AL team
This is exactly the point, the ownership, it gets all the flack, but this was hmm top to bottom. Everyone dropped the ball on this. The A's owner wanted to be gone. The Major League Baseball management wanted the team to be gone. The giants wanted them to be gone and the fence. The answer was to boycott and not show up to games. The gun was there, and we put the bullets in it.
As Mark Cuban said, it used to be about the sport, now it's about real estate. The product on the field means nothing
Manfred openly mocked Oakland fans after the reverse boycott in 2023. That's when I knew here was not going to be a change of mind.
