Jets Trade Rumors Are HEATING UP After The 0-5 Start Ft. Breece Hall
[Music] What’s going on Jets fans? You are watching the Jets Report. My name is Patrick Seatman and coming up on today’s show, I want to talk about the latest trade rumors around the New York Jets with the NFL trade deadline approaching quickly. I got three players that the Jets could trade away after their 0 and5 start. And then speaking about the 0 and5 start, Jets are the only team in the NFL without a win this season. Are they the worst team in the NFL? We’ll break that down on the second half of today’s show. But before we dive into it, if you guys could help us out here, we are closing in on 10,000 subscribers here on YouTube. Just need 132 more of you guys to hit that subscribe button. So, if you guys have not already, hit that subscribe button today. We post videos every single day around the New York Jets. Plus, we’re closing in on 10K. So, if you guys want to help us out here, just need 132 more of you guys to hit that subscribe button today. All right, I do want to get this off my chest first because listen, I understand fans hate talking about trading their own players because some of these guys, you got their jerseys, you’ve been watching them play for the Jets for a couple of seasons. So, obviously fans aren’t a fan of trading away some of their marquee players. But this is the reality of the NFL, especially when you have a new regime who don’t really have any ties to majority of the players on this roster. they could be looking to acquire draft capital and potentially just move forward and try to get more of their own guys in the building. So, obviously, I’m sure I’m going to get a lot of fun comments on this show, but let’s talk about the guy um one of the better corners in the league, S Gardner being the number one trade candidate for the New York Jets. Now, S Gardner has obviously not been too good this season. He had a fantastic week one against the Pittsburgh Steelers and DK Metaf, but he has definitely taken a hit over the last couple of weeks. Now, I will say this. I think there is a 0% chance that they trade sauce. But let’s discuss this if it makes sense at all because this would be a blockbuster trade. Like, well, if this trade goes down, we probably won’t get any reports of it beforehand. I think this could kind of be similar to like the Luca Dona trade in the NFL where, you know, nobody really has any indication that Sauce could be on the move, but maybe the Jets view, you know, Sauce as a tradable asset and if they want to go get more draft capital to potentially get a franchise quarterback or just fill some of these holes on the roster, maybe it could make some sense to trade S. And also the cap situation like S Gardner this year actually is only on the books for $9 million and next year 12.25 million. So that’s pretty good deal for a Sauce Gardner. But then that extension starts to kick in. 2027 on the books for 23 million. 28 28 million. And then in 2029 he is on the books for almost $39 million. And in 2030 it’s 36 million. Now these are his cat pits. These aren’t like his base salary signing bonus. This is how much he is against the books which is obviously the way S Gardner’s played this season. this right here the last three years that could be one of the worst contracts in the NFL because Sauce hasn’t been good this season. Now, I will give him the benefit of the doubt. It’s not like he’s working with much defensively. Like the Jets defense is a joke. Like the linebacker position has definitely taken a hit ever since Quincy Williams went out the, you know, rest of the secondary round. Sauce is flat out horrible. Like even Cisco really hasn’t had that good of a year. Tony Adams is the worst player in the NFL. Brandon Stevens is the second worst player in the NFL. So Saus is out there by himself, but he still hasn’t been good. Gave up that big- time touchdown to George Pickkins. Gave up that touchdown to Darren Waller. He just been h hasn’t been making the plays that we are accustomed to seeing Sgardner make. And his coverage grade 60.4. That is 80th out of 169 eligible corners in the NFL. So he just flat out hasn’t been good enough. But some pros and cons of trading S. The biggest pro would be draft capital because even though S sauce with that contract and how he’s been playing this year, I still think you could somehow get a first round pick out of a team, maybe you get a first and a third. And if that’s a deal on the table, like the Jets at least have to have a meeting about that and consider training them. Now, the biggest con would uh in trading Sauce would be that the Jets would have the worst secondary not only in NFL this year, but possibly in NFL history. Like if you moved off Sauce, this quarterback room would be absolutely terrible. And another pro, he is, you know, regressing right now. like his first two seasons in the NFL, all pro years, best corner in the league. Last year took a step back and now this year he seems like he’s, you know, even taken a further step back. And also another con, you would be admitting the season is lost, which is also why I don’t think they’re going to trade him because when you have a new head coach in there, if you just trade away one of your better players, that’s just pretty much telling the team like, “Hey, this season is a lost cause. We are looking towards the future.” But also another pro, if you moved off his contract and you got draft capital, you would get more, you know, obviously funds and you could put them else uh elsewhere. Like you could go still get another corner, not pay him $35 million, you know, per season over the last three years of that contract. You could go get another safety. You could go get more help at the wide receiver group. So you would get more funds that you could spend elsewhere. But still, all this only way I’m trading sauce if you maybe get a first and uh maybe like twothirds. I think that would be, you know, pretty good deal there. But I just think it’s an interesting conversation. I doubt it happens, but who the hell knows? I mean, stuff happens in the NFL all the time that we don’t expect to happen. But a move I could see happening. And that’s Tyrod Taylor. I think there’s a better chance that teams start calling for Tyrod than we think cuz his name hasn’t really been to toss around in the latest QB trade rumors. You know, it’s all Kurt Cousins, like he’s getting a lot of buzz. But with the Cincinnati Bengals situation right now with how bad Jake Browning has looked and them still having Jamar Chase, T. Higgins, like obviously they know they’re not going to go on a Super Bowl run this year without Ty uh without Joe Burrow, but maybe they view Tyrod as a guy that could at least be better than what Jake Browning has been. And if you could get a fifth round pick for it for him, you just take it. Like I think that would be good value because you know Tyrod obviously he is not, you know, going to be a Jet for a very long time. like he’s on the, you know, back nine of his NFL career and I think if you could get a fifth round pick for him, just get more draft capital, try to fill more holes on this roster, I would do it. But another name that probably is the most likely to get traded out of anybody on the New York Jets, and that’s Bree Hall. Now, I will say the Brilin Allen injury throws a wrench into the plan to trade him. But even with the Brilin Allen injury, I still think the Jets need to consider moving off Bree because you know what? Bree Hall is a fine player. He is probably the 12th to 20th best running back in the league. That’s probably where I’d slot him in at. He’s got some talent. He’s got the some juice. But at the end of the day in the NFL, the running back position is the most easily replaceable position possibly in all of sports. Like these guys come out of nowhere. You could take a guy in the sixth round, he could end up being a star. You could pick up a guy off the street. I still think, you know, when it comes to run games in the NFL, I still give 60% of the credit to the offensive line. running backs get probably, you know, 20 and then the scheme overall gets the last 20. So, running backs are very, very replaceable. And also, you’re not gonna extend them this off seasonason. At least I wouldn’t extend them. And if you could somehow, you know, get a fourth round pick for Bree Hall, maybe you get a fourth for Bree, you get a fifth for Tyrod, like then you’re accumulating more draft capital, but just keep on throwing darts in the NFL draft, and hopefully you end up hitting on these guys. So, I would move off Bree Hall if you get a fourth round pick. But what do you guys say? Be the GM for me. Let’s just say the Kansas City Chiefs where they very likely could offer you a fourth round pick for him. What would you do? Would you trade Bree Hall? Give me a T for trade. Give me a P for pass. You guys want to know your thoughts down below. Now, we’ll talk about if the Jets are the worst team in the NFL here in a second, but if you guys want to get some New York Jets merchandise, hit this link, chatports.com/jets hoodies. These hoodies are on sale right now. I love the cut off hoodie look. So, if you guys want to rock one of these, hit that link, chatports.com/jetshoodies. They also got a bunch of different options, so click that link in the comment section and description of today’s show. All right, let’s talk about it. Are the Jets the worst team in the NFL? Well, they’re the only team in the NFL without a win right now. And they have obviously been playing some horrible football over the last four weeks specifically. And what’s so concerning about the New York Jets is, you know, how they have started these games. I mean, the first half scores over the past four weeks, like you’re not even competing. Like, this is hard to do. I will say like the Bills came out, blasted you 20 to three. Wasn’t even a game in the second half. Buccaneers came out blast you 20 to6. Only reason this was a game was because the block kicked. Dolphins 10 to three. Like not as bad, but the Dolphins are one of the worst teams in the league and you were still down 10 to three to them. And then the Cowboys, I mean it was a 10 to3 game. Bree Hall fumbles. They have two quick touchdowns. It just wasn’t good. And what is also so concerning when like trying to get a good evaluation of the offense specifically, the Jets haven’t played a meaningful second half since week one of the Steelers. So like obviously there was some meaningful snaps in that Tampa Bay Buccaneers game. There’s some meaningful snaps in the Miami Dolphins game, but like as a whole, like a whole second half, they have not played a meaningful second half since week one versus the Steelers. So it’s kind of tough to get a valuation on like one truly how bad the Jets are or even if the Jets offense is good whatsoever. But what has been so concerning the most with this Jet start is you hire Aaron Glenn. He’s a defensive mastermind and your defense is the worst in the NFL. Like you’re giving up 354 yards per game. That’s 21st. Now pass yards per game only 207. But the reason that number is so low is cuz teams aren’t throwing the ball in the second half. Like they are completely, you know, cutting down their playbook to just running the football and giving up 140 rushing yards per game. Also giving up 31.4 points per game. That is flat out terrible for this Jets defense. And I think this right now they are the worst team in the NFL. Like they’re playing the worst football over the wor uh past four weeks, but NFL changes every week. Like the Jets could somehow get a win this Sunday against the Denver Broncos and obviously they won’t be the worst team in the league, but it changes so fast in the NFL. Like a team can look terrible playing bad football. It can just take one win to kind of spark some momentum, get them back on the right track. And you know, even though I’m guessing we’re going to get to a point this season where we’re rooting for draft picks, but I still think there would be some benefit in the Jets getting a couple wins obviously because it sets the culture up a little bit. It has these guys more, I guess, in tune with what Aaron Glenn is saying and his message. But, you know, there’s some other bad teams out there like Tennessee Titans. I think they’re just as bad as the New York Jets, even though they have a win. The Arizona Cardinals, what the hell was that on Sunday? That was one of the worst games I’ve ever seen. I mean, D Marcato drops the ball at the goal line. Cam Ward throws an interception, but it results in a touchdown for the Titans. Like, they had no business winning that game. The Raiders are falling off the face of the earth. I want to say the Dolphins, but the Dolphins beat uh the Jets. And the Cleveland Browns are still a bad team. Cincinnati Bengals could make an argument though, 2 and0 with Joe Burrow, but without Joe Burrow, they have the worst offensive line in the league. Still probably a top five bottom defense, and you know, they’re just not that good of a football team. So, right now, I think the Jets are the worst team in the NFL, but again, a lot can change week to week, but I’ll ask you guys this. Are the Jets the worst team in the NFL? Be honest with me. Give me a Y for yes or an N for no down below. We appreciate all of you guys tuning in. See you guys next time. As always, go Jets. [Music]

Yes
Sauce ain’t going nowhere. You forgot one detail. No team going to take Sauce’s contract. Sauce also a two time all pro. Garrett Wilson is balling. Quinnen Williams is still on a big contract. Only players I see Jets trading Breece Hall and Jermaine Johnson because they’re both still on rookie contracts. Trade AVT because he can’t stay healthy.
The Jets already have the worst secondary in the league..QB's complete 60% of their passes for 1st downs or TD's. If the Jets could get a 1st and a 3rd rd pick for him you do it immediately. Maybe the Chargers would give the Jets a 2nd rd pick for Breese..You get whatever value you can..what is the difference between a 0-17 and 2-15? Jets need a QB in the next draft
It’s hard yes
Must unsubscribe from you bro,sorry
Management needs to send a message to all these overpriced players that none of you are safe, especially when there playing like shit!
Thank God it's hockey season!!lmfao!
Y
This guy smh
Might as well trade Garrett Wilson too then, right?
Who wants sauce ?? He’s terrible, has been for 3 years
Sauce over over rated trade
Same thing happened in Detroit with the Lions first season with Campbell and Glenn. Ya'll need to chill and get off this win now kick and be patient with this team.
No one is untouchable. Time to tank and get more draft picks.
P
N
Sauce kick him to curb
They can trade any player idgaf
The way this coaching staff has made this team under perform, do they even deserve to be allowed to dump all these players without ever proving they are capable of coaching? This makes no sense.
If Sauce is on the block to be traded and you get a 1st round pick you jump all over that deal. We are whether we want to admit it or not in Rebuilding mode. Not even a few pieces away from being competitive.
All you morons calling for AVT and MC2 to be traded. Who tf is trading for hurt players on expensive contracts? MC2 gonna be cut next year and AVT is a FA 😂
Why ?
If they trade Tyrod Taylor away you have tk question this teams drafting decisions and its early in the game for Mougey and Glenn. You had Sanders sitting there available to be picked and all the players selected after the 1st to the 5th dont make a difference right now. Could of had Sanders learning you have a chance at a 1st round talent that dropped to the 5th. Instead we move up for a Miami player thats trash and doesnt belong in the league. Arian Smith who the fell in love with potential instead of hard stats in which his was drops.
Trade Hall. He won't make the Jets into a good team. He could probably help another team. Despite not having won any games the Jets are not the worst team in the NFL.
Please trade Sauce s he not worth the money he getting paid!
THE NY JETS TRADE SALE START NOW!
COME GET IT BEFORE IS ALL "GONE" BY THE END OF THE 1ST HALF OF THE SEASON.
"Crazy Eddie" should be proud of the New York Jets.
🤡🤪🗽🍎✈️👎
Sauce is a zone CB and the Jets want to play man. He is not a scheme fit and a penalty waiting to happen playing man coverage. If you get a 1st round pick for him jump on it!!!
The no touch list is: G Wilson, Membou, Olu, Taylor, Macnamara
and Quinton. That is it. Every other player is open to trade. We need to turn this roster over with as many young players as possible supplemented by a significant FA class of proven winners and leaders
No matter how good you package shite, at the end of the day it is still shite. Jets will always be shite as long as Woody owns the team. The stupid GM named Magoo is utterly incompetent. Betting another 100$ against the Jets next week. Sinking fast like Titanic. #SOJ. It will be really great for Breece's career if he gets traded to a good team. If getting a RB of Breece's quality why didn't they have one before he arrived with better stats? Glen took the 6th best defensive team during Saleh era and ran it down to one of the worst in la few months !!! Anybody can talk but it needs to make sense to be appreciated.
Good point on non meaningful second halves.
How many fifth round picks ever make it? Keep Taylor.
TRADE THAT MAN HE'S NOTHING SPECIAL AS A RB
Pass ..That's our problem. We let our talent go. They play well elsewhere..Keep our home grown..
Trade Sauce Gardner please. He is a liability
Sauce is terrible this year. And if he continues to play like this next year I say cut him loose. He is not worth 20 mil or more a year.
T
T
Anybody wanting to trade Sauce is a moron…he's a press man corner who there not using properly.
What's interesting is NYJ could have a better record just eliminating penalties and turnovers. Even with a limited Offense you could still win if your Defense was good. Look at PHI and their Offense this year.
Trade Woody Johnson
Year 1 Sauce played well. Since then GARBAGE. I told him in year 2 game that he needed to pick up his game if he ever wanted to be Revis like. He commits too many penalties and doesn't like to hit. He chases and holds. His game has really declined in my opinion. College elite level at best.
Huh?!🤔 Yes trade Breece as he is the best to have be that has never been much, Sauce stays , Yes trade Quinnen as he’s not getting a new deal from the Jets, JJ is Carl Lawson at this point so if there is a deal take it . Other than these folks who else is someone another team wants?
Trade him. We may not be good for a decade!
The jets make my heart hurt man 💔
Joe flaco signed to bengals
PPP
I like what the browns did in trading Flacco. If I’m the jets I’ll trade Tyrod to Baltimore. The building blocks for this offense in the future are Gshine, Mason and Breece. We just lost Allen & Kene cant stay healthy. I’ll “P” but I’ll consider trading Quin for the right price 💰 Maybe ? 🤔 to a team like KC for a second round pick, I’ll take that.
When not trade Allen for Meyer makes more sense
bring on the tankathon!
