This may be one of the worst games I have ever watched. They had no spy for Lawrence……and he didn’t seem to get pressured much until the 4th quarter. The offense somehow continually forgets they have the most success when they run the football and it may be possible we have the worst special teams in the NFL. I have never seen the Chiefs with that deer in the headlights look like I saw tonight. They lost their composure, no killer instinct no calm confidence. Rattled. Getting ready to go 2 and 4 next week ..,. See you next season!

If I can play devils advocate for a second. Multiple times I have wanted to comment that Chris Jones is washed/where is he/ etc. He is getting double teamed at an insane rate this year. You go through that for 60 minutes you might be a bit gassed, especially when the rest of the D-line is doing nothing.
Not absolving him of everything (especially this play) but just some food for thought

Chris Jones has been great for us, has anchored multiple Super Bowl winning defenses, is going to go down as an all-timer in KC, and I look forward to his name being in Chiefs Ring of Honor, so Iām not going to shit on him.
In my opinion there are many things that went wrong in this game. Bottom line in my opinion is this team is not playing basic football, we rely too much on the razzle dazzle. The chiefs do not have the ability to just line up and impose their will on any other team.
Nobody has any idea what is role was on that play so STFU. Maybe he had contain to the offense right side. I get it he did not move when QB popped out but there was zero chance of him getting to Trever at that point. Having said that, CJ does a good/smart job of conserving energy when it makes sense. Maybe it got the best of him on this play.
