The Islanders have signed D.C.-based Vanda Pharmaceuticals as their home and away jersey sponsor, becoming the first NHL team to promote a pharmaceutical company on their sweaters since the program began for the 2022-23 season. The team moved quickly to find a new jersey sponsor during the offseason after its previous partner, Solo Stove, moved to end its agreement with the team amid financial issues.

  1. They make that weird Anime bipolar drug commercial. Not sure if it plays on MSG but its on TNT all the time

  2. Not going into politics … Not taking a side…please don’t kill me…. The government is toying with the idea of banning pharmaceutical ads on TV (most of the world already has that) . If that happens, what would happen to this agreement?

  3. Hahaha remember last season when we got the ad patch for the first time and everyone was like “well at least it’s Solo Stove which actually fits in, looks ok, and is relatively inoffensive”? They couldn’t even let us have that. Can’t wait for 2030 where we’ll be sponsored by the casino in Willets Point.

  4. The Solo Stove patch was orange so it blended it with the jersey. This being green and black is atrocious.

RIP the Snoop Dogg Solo Stove commercial every other commercial break
