  1. I have high hopes for sunday. Offense looks good. Pacheco is looking more like himself again. Without the senseless penalties which seemed like the refs were explicitly looking for they should be fine. I am not complaining but someone (Jags or NFL) must’ve told the refs to look for specific things on special teams etc. Better get it fixed now than be called for it in the playoffs.

  2. Not trying to pile on CJ95 here — enough ink has been spilled over the season he’s been having. But I’ve been wondering if he still gets to line up where he wants, picking a favorable matchup. I see this adjustment at the line — where he trades places with someone when the offense comes to the line. I guess we don’t know the answer, but is Spags calling this or does CJ get to choose? Whichever it is, it doesn’t seem to work or make a difference. The ability of this line to get pressure is really dangerously low, even when the other team has weaknesses on their line. The Lions, for instance, have a backup in at left tackle. I bet we see CJ lined up over him a lot on Sunday. Will be interesting to see if it makes any difference at all.

  3. Really baffled by Spags use of Chamarri Conner. Conner’s rookie year was his best season, and he primarily played either box or free safety with only 20-25% of his snaps coming as the slot corner. Every year since Spags has increased Conner’s snaps at slot corner and Conner’s numbers as a result have gotten progressively worse.

Still think Conner is an above average safety, but the slot corner stuff needs to be scaled back dramatically. He’s currently one of the worst players in coverage in the NFL.

  4. There will be bumps in the road, but no one has it better than us. We get to watch 15 play football for at least ten more years and we have already gotten to celebrate three rings.

The haters are still so mad that they cope by telling themselves Gooddell is risking prison time and the legitimacy of a 100+ year old institution by rigging it for the Chiefs in hopes of getting some Swifties to tune in. They are so blinded by their rage and envy that they can’t see how stupid that is, and are forced to comfort each other with a circle jerk of internet points.

It’s a great goddamn time to be a Chiefs fan. Glad to be on this journey with you all.

  5. getting blown out would be better than realizing there’s like 10 cruital mistakes that stop us from being 5-0

  6. I’m still thinking this offense is clicking, get the defense to shape up a little and we’re right on track. A little undisciplined too, but that will get fixed I assume.

It’s always such an amusing feeling to see everyone losing their minds over penalties when it comes to us regardless of correctness. It’s a loser mentality that they cling to and makes it way more fun to push their buttons.

  7. Offense looked great, would’ve put up 30+ points if not for that pick 6. They tricked Mahomes, that’s just gonna happen. Gotta tip the jaguars for it.

The special teams having their worst game in probably a decade is a little concerning. I don’t doubt they’ll get it cleaned up.

Playing Conner in the slot should not be done again. Last year they had to due to injuries, but there’s no excuse to do so this year. Nohl getting 3 or 4 snaps is unacceptable. The pass rush is still the biggest weakness of this team. Chris Jones is the only one on the line who can do anything. Spags is obviously one of the best d-coordinators of all time, but his philosophy for the defensive line is just terrible. Also, why did he barely blitz or leave a spy on the prince?

This team got outplayed in week 1 and then lost the other two games themselves. If they can get these self-inflicted errors cleaned up, they can go on a big run. A win against the Lions would be a great start.

  8. This may be a dumb q but is there a reason Matt Arizia can’t kick for every situation?

  9. If we can get a game where we don’t lose by penalties that would be great. We literally keep losing from our penalties the last game we beat ourselves
