Kinda shocking that Hino and jojo are blocking yurov. Suppose it is early tho
So annoyed Jojo is still here
Ah yes top 6 right winger Marcus Foligno
edit: left winger i’m dumb
This team is going nowhere with second and third lines looking like that
I think Yurov has been better than Ohgren, but none of these guys have outplayed anyone. I’m very disappointed that Ohgren can’t seem to adjust his game to the NHL. Yurov I knew would take a few reps to get used to the NHL, but I’m also disappointed at how far he seemed from being a top six contributor.
It would be great if a Wild draft pick above round 15 could ever step in and meet or exceed expectations like a Rinzel or Hutson.
Looks good to me. It’s a long season but I think this group can get to the second round.
Yuck
Let’s reserve our judgment until we see how the lineup plays out. I, too, have some feelings about it but I wanna see how the lines mesh and what adjustments Hynes will make if it’s not working. At least our top line looks nice!
We have half of a top 6
I might develop a fetish for the FEET line
While I’m not saying guys should be given elevated roles due to potential/draft slot, at a certain point I’m not sure what you can really expect from guys who’ve played in the top 6 their whole lives once you stick them in a checking, 11 minutes a night type role. Winning every single game should absolutely be the priority, but you can still be a good team while properly developing guys. Maybe I’ll be wrong and Yurov/Ohgren will quickly play themselves up the lineup, though it kinda feels like we’ve seen this movie before. Hope I’m wrong
Tarasenko’s on an island until Zuccy is back. FolEk won’t mesh with Vlad
One bright spot is Haight gets some TOI in game 1.
Anyone know how Jimmy is doing? Going to play or no?
These lines don’t do much for me, but that’s why they play the games.
Happy to see Haight making his debut. My one note is that he and Vinny play a similar game – lot of hustle and heart, less scoring or playmaking. Solid 4th line game, though.
Bold prediction: Massive year coming for Hinostroza, dude has skill and that dawg in him. I think he will be a similar scorer to peak Hartman but with more skill . Could even see him be one of our new top scorers
Imho, Hartman will be the first to lose his roster spot. Been trending down for 2 years, constant penalty machine.
I hope the second line will surprise me

Seeing Marcus Johansson in the lineup over Yurov makes me suicidal.
