On Wednesday, LaFleur was asked by reporters about Bisaccia’s group and their issues, and he didn’t mince words when addressing the team's struggles in that particular area.
“We haven't executed it well enough, obviously. We got punked," he said regarding Green Bay giving up “catastrophic” plays.
LaFleur elaborated further on the Packers’ special teams issues, saying that you can’t give those “catastrophic” plays up because they make “such a big impact on the game of football.”

Good now be as brutally honest about your own time management incompetence
Words mean nothing when not backed up by action. Hold this man accountable in some meaningful way that leads to change, even if that change is he’s out of a job.
We got punked because someone decided to play 3rd stringers and practice squad elevations on meaningful snaps during a game when points are on the line.
Is Bisaccia making that call, or LaFleur?
But I don’t see Ashton Kutcher running around that corner though?!
His words mean nothing
Good, belated diagnosis. Hopefully he is driving some action to correct the ongoing issue. It’s been years.
Is the person who “punked” you in the room with us right now?
Didn’t we pay Bisaccia enough to be the highest paid Special Teams coach?
LaFleur is feeling the heat and redirecting blame. This was a problem before Bisaccia and will likely continue to be under MlF going forward.
I feel like people aren’t interpreting this the way he intended lol
Take the last game as an example, there were three kick offs to an area between the 5 yard line and the goal line and each time the packer player (Savion Williams )downed the ball in the end zone, resulting in the starting at the 20 yard line. Cost us 10 to 15 yards per occurrence. Somebody should got up and got in the guy’s face and told him to field the ball and return it but yet it happened not once not twice but three times. To me that is pure coaching or lack thereof . Bisaccia was asleep at the wheel.
Fire this fucking guy yesterday. His god awful unit has already cost us 2 wins
Lol give him better players, Matt
If he’s got Brent Banks out there, that’s a LaFleur decision
Bisaccia’s a fucking clown so sick of him
Full stop, I’ll accept whatever consequences come from it, PLAY STARTERS ON TEAMS. You know what the best Special Teams in the league have? What the Patriots, Broncos, and Seahawks do? They play their 1st and 2nd stringers on teams and aren’t trotting out UDFA ROOKIE Brent Banks to block on field goal and PATs. It isn’t a cure-all but it sure as hell would be better than hoping Musgrave and a couple UDFAs can hold up for every kick jus so you can get a couple extra snaps of rest for Jenkins and Walker.
MFL punks himself every year by keeping Rich Bisaccia on his staff.
He’s good at saying the right things but they’re always empty words
At the same time, Golden hasn’t looked good on returns, we released Hardmon because we didn’t want to use the roster spot and Nixon is a bonafide pro bowl returner that doesn’t play ST anymore.
Our backup tight ends are a big reason why we’re having kicks blocked on the edge and rather than putting in the better talent, Rich is given the scrubs.
Who plays on ST is the HCs decision.
