This is why you don’t write off developmental picks after one year. They need time to develop.
Glad to hear it but his most noticeable play was letting Mahomes escape a tackle.
The biggest thing I noticed out of the big guy is the hustle. That dude is sprinting to the ball every single play and I really appreciate that, especially out of a 6’5 306 guy.
He looks like he slimmed down a touch (could be wrong, just a look), and looks way faster out there
This is excellent to see…..
If he can learn to finish better he’ll really be a menace. Obviously sacking Mahomes is easier said than done but he looked a little lost whenever he actually got to the backfield on Monday. Still even just creating the pressure is a win in its own right.
He just needs to hold on to the QB better lol
He was so pissed when he didn’t get Mahomes on the sack and I loved seeing that passion.
Coach Camp. is a miracle worker
Maybe he’d be even better now if the previous coaching staff didn’t seemingly refuse to play their 2nd round pick
That’s extremely impressive too considering he probably got matched up with either the best center in the league in Creed Humphrey or one of the best guards in the league in Trey Smith
It’s so nice to have a staff that, I don’t know, are good at their jobs and give a shit.
Nice seeing a coaching staff get the max potential out of people.
Honestly, he was always going to be a developmental project, but *my God* did the Pederson/Baalke régime absolutely fuck the pooch on that one. I’m really happy if he turns things around. He has the athletic profile to be excellent but was super raw coming out of college. Adding him into the iDL rotation and having him alongside young superstars Travon and JHA? Man, we’ve got ourselves one *fuck* of a defensive line. I’m pretty damn happy
The guy is a monster body. If he ever grows into it watch out. He’s like the perfect DT size.
He’s the only one that actually got hands on Mahomes that I saw.
Our pass rush was almost nothing all game. We missed Walker hugely.
