  1. They really aren’t though and using one play to justify it is silly. He’s good at a lot of things and he can make the right play more often than not but it’s not like he’s Luka or LeBron level out there. He does occasionally miss open guys and lacks the creativity of the best of the best. He’s still really good

  2. He made so many high level passes in the two Abu Dhabi games. And his connection with VJ is already going swimmingly.

  3. I don’t know where this “can’t throw an entry pass” narrative comes from. What do you think the two-man game is? He throws entry passes just fine.

What you mean to say is that sometimes, when guarded by tall wings/guards, he doesn’t get it over the top. But this can be corrected by jumping to pass. Something we actually saw him do a bit in Abu Dahbi. It’s an important tool in creation for a smaller guard.

  4. They aren’t

But he can get better. Austin Reeves got better at this. If he gets to average he will be near elite because he can break down the defense whenever he wants

  5. While this is a good play I’ve seen guys make this same play in my local 3rd tier men’s basketball league

  6. Maxeys passing has gotten way better, and in just the two games so far I’ve seen a jump in his halfcourt vision. it’s not staggering and the vision isnt elite yet, but he’s making easy passes and extra passes way more confidently
