No team in NBA history has ever had four players averaging 20+ PPG. Can the Knicks be the first?

  1. Nah. Brown is gonna play too many guys so it’ll spread around. I would expect OG and Mikal to be high teens.

  2. We had a better chance last year with the amount of minutes these guys played. I’d expect their PPG to be around the same on fewer minutes. (I hope)

  3. I doubt it. Mikal will be around 18 and maybe og hits 20 with this new offense.

But these guys aren’t gonna play 40 minutes a game like they did last season.

  4. I don’t think we’ll even see 3 players average 20+, just Brunson and KAT in all likelihood. Too many mouths to feed to have 4 starters averaging that much, plus Brown is indicating he may go with a full 10 man rotation.

  5. I think it’s not likely. Clarkson if he’s a true solid bench scorer along with Deuce and Hart getting buckets are going to make it harder for Bridges and OG to get higher than 19 ppg. Brunson and KAT should both be around the 24-26 PPG range and OG and Bridges will have a hard time both getting over 20 if Deuce/Hart/Clarkson combine for 30. Plus Mitch and Yabub should both get points.

Last year was probably the best chance to see it happen

  6. It’s not so important that they need to average 20, the important thing is that they are all capable of it. That means they can pick up the slack if others are slow. if Brunson is cold than others can pick up the slack, it won’t be so reliant on run it through Brunson and Kat like Thibs did.

  7. No.

    They are all capable, yes.

But no, it won’t happen. Two out of 4 of these guys are primarily here to defend.

  8. Probably not, but each one of these guys can drop 30-50 on a night which is nuts

  9. Yes, but only because Tyler Kotek is going to score 680 points in a meaningless game 82.

  10. Last year the rotation was top heavy so it was more possible then. This year we’ll have a 10 man rotation, so probably not

  11. Brunson can definitely dish the rock , it’s possible but it won’t happen since we’ll be playing our bench.

  12. The lower minutes will offset with a faster pace. Still, it’s unlikely. I don’t think OG and Mikal will have enough 30 point games to counteract the 10 point games.

  13. No, but they could become the team with more players averaging double digits in a single season.
