All right, perfect. Uh, when it comes to injuries, uh, Michael Carter, obvious concussion protocol. Um, there’s a good chance that he’ll be out this week. Um, I mean, Kane and Germaine, uh, they’ll be dayto-day. there’s a really good chance we’ll get some work with both of those guys tomorrow. So, uh we’ll see exactly how that goes. Um Allan Lazard, he didn’t make the trip. He has a personal uh deal he’s dealing with. So, um he’ll be out. He’ll be out also. All right. So, um other than that, that is all the guys when it comes to the injury front. uh when it comes to this week. Uh listen, I really love the um the idea of us getting away, uh get a chance to get in this hotel, be able to vibe together as a group, be able to understand exactly the things that we have to do to what we have to work on to improve on where we at. And our guys are doing a really good job of that. Listen, we know exactly where we at. Um we’re not hiding from that fact. Yes, we are 0 and five. We understand that and we understand that we have a lot of work to do and we’re not running from that at all. Um, offensively, um, running the ball has been something that we’ve been hanging our hat on. Been really good. I think Justin’s been, uh, good as far as passing the ball. Um, I think Tanner’s doing a really good job of mixing the running pass. Uh, when it comes to that, defensively, we got a lot of work to do, and I understand that. And listen, every day we’re chopping wood to make sure we get better. and the players understand that, the coaches understand that, and it’s my job to make sure all three phases of are above board, and we’re going to continue to work our ass off to make sure we get there. Um, listen, we say it’s a long season, but we know how these weeks continue to compile, and we have to make sure we get out get out of this hole that we’re in, and we all understand that. So, any questions? Um, I think there’s a really good chance he’ll be out there. I I I really do. Um but again, tomorrow, you know, be a big day. Well, today is going to be a big day. Tomorrow’s going to be a big day as far as him being on the field and being able to get the reps he need to go out there and play um and play confident. So, um I am I I’m I’m looking forward to seeing how he operates today going into tomorrow. Yeah. uh just the detail of everything. And when you look at it, when you see guys that’s running open, when you see um missed tackles, when you see angles of pursuit, when you see all those things, just the the little details of understanding how to play together, how to coordinate everything together as a unit. And listen, that that’s that’s not one person, you know, that’s us collectively as a team making sure that we get on the same page. Um and that’s why I like this situation that we’re in right now. I mean, we’re away from everything. we get a chance to get in this meeting room, look at everything. Um, listen, no hard feelings on anything that we say either. You know, everybody has to take it for what it is, the criticism I’m talking about, and do everything we can to try to fix these issues. And listen, we’re doing everything we can to fix them. you know, it it can it can. And that’s what I said early on. You know, when I first started, I thought that this was going to be a really good trip for us. Um, and listen, our guys are buying into that. And but the thing that we’re not running from is the fact that we are we are, you know, we’re over and five and there’s a lot of work for us to to to get done. And this is a really good week to try to hone in on those things because it is a lot of distraction on the outside. But that’s what the NFL is, you know, and you can’t run from that. And again, I’m not running from that either. Um, we just got to work our ass off on a daily basis to get out of this hole. Yep. Yeah. You know what? That’s um that’s something that we um that we’ve talked about, you know, over these last couple of weeks to make sure that um and listen, I understand from the outside that people going to say, “Okay, we’re getting yards because I don’t know if teams are no listen, teams play in this league and no one wants to just give up yards.” Um I do think we get in a situation where we start to get in the groove a little bit and that’s any quarterback and I think Justin has been getting in the groove in that situation also. um early in the season against Pittsburgh. I didn’t think that was the case. You know, some people might say it, but I didn’t think that was the case. Uh Buffalo, listen, we just got our ass whooped against Buffalo. All right. Um come back to T. I thought Tyro did a pretty good job in in that game. So, and I can go on and on. Um but I understand what the naysayers are saying. You know, I think our guys are doing a pretty good job as far as um getting the pass game where it needs to be. And then we got to improve and I know that and we will improve in that situation. Um, listen, I have no issues with where we’re at right now in the passing game. Well, they have two edge guys that are pretty elite uh, when it comes to that. They have interior guys, I think that does a hell of a job. And when you have the corners and the man-to-man guys you have, it makes the quarterback hold the ball quite a bit. So, I think they do a good job of coordinating how they want to play defense. Um, and they’re very aggressive. Very aggressive. They’re sending five at you, you know, majority all the time. So, um, listen, our old line has their work cut out for them, and they know that. I mean, it it it is what it is. And plus, our receivers know they got to get open and Justin got to be able to deliver the ball and throw it um throw it accurate, you know, cuz guys going to be tight on them. So, um, listen, we got to work this week to make sure we get that. Our scout team has to do a good job of making sure we give them that picture. And listen, we got to go out there and out compete these guys. Yeah. Yeah. I owe a lot to um my coaching development to Sean. Um I think he’s a hell of a coach. Um offensive minded um really understand exactly how to attack uh different defenses. And he’s taught me a lot about being a coach. And listen, I he he he’s one of the guys that I love everything about, you know, who he is and what he’s about. And I’m looking forward to competing against him cuz I know how he is. And um this will be a competitive battle between the both of us. Um but I also know as both coaching staffs, you know, there’s some friends on each side with that. Uh Zack Street, for example, I mean, I’ve played with Zack and I know how he is as a coach. So this will be a good competitive battle between the coaching staffs and we’re looking forward to it. Yeah. Yeah. You know what I have? And the thing is it’s it’s also putting guys in those situations in practice. I mean, if you put guys in pressure situations and then you make practice just like game, I think a lot of guys can feel that. You know, we do we have a start fast period where man offense you’re trying to get a first down, right? Defense, you stop them from getting a first down. To me, those are pressuh situations, you know, and those are situations where you can develop mental toughness. So, we continue to do that throughout practice. Every day in practice, we have something that’s really like really gamelike that I want to put our guys in. Um, and to me, that’s a great way of trying to develop mental toughness. a couple things. Um, you know, it is it is, but when you look at us on offense, I think we’ve done a pretty good job of starting fast. Defense, we haven’t done a good job at that. You know, we have to be able to do that. So, um, we didn’t score a touchdown, but we actually got a chance to put ourselves in position to do that. So, I’m I’m I’m happy with the way the offense is starting. It’s just some of the other things that we got to get better at. um red zone defense. I mean that has like ticked down a little bit. Third down has ticked down a little bit and we got to continue to work with those things to get better. Man, we’re here to play a game. You know, that’s what the focus is. Um obviously when you know you have to drive home and things like that, you’re going to have extra time. But man, our total focus is how do we go out there and how do we beat the Broncos? And that’s what we’re working on uh every day. So, um, and I think guys are are looking at that way, too. I really do. I don’t think I know. I know. So, um, everything that we do while we here, man, is focused on how do we beat the Broncos and go out there and playing our ass off for them for this game. Yeah. Well, I think that’s something that we’ve talked about. um I think the last two weeks of making sure he’s getting involved. Uh obviously he’s a damn good receiver. Um he’s improved as a blocker. I said that during training camp. Um and he allows us to have another dynamic player out there to open space up for everybody else. I think when you when you create that with another player just like him, it allows other guys to get one-on- ones, too. So, um and we’re going to continue to utilize him. Now, he’s doing a good job. you know, there’s a lot of things he can do better with, but uh I think, you know, our quarterbacks are doing a good job of getting him involved and getting him involved early. Say it again. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. You know, I think he’s played well. I mean, obviously there’s a lot that he can do better at. Um and you know what? Sometimes when you have that C on your chest sometimes when you get that big contract, sometimes you feel like you need to do more. All right, but it’s easy to get him dialed back, man. Just take care of your job along with making sure you get everything coordinated as far as the defense is concerned. I think that’s just normal for most guys. And once you become a captain, once you get that contract, you feel like you have to do more when all you got to do, man, just do your job and make sure you coordinate the defense like it should be coordinated um when it comes to you guys on the field. So, um, I like where he’s at. I mean, obviously, he can do some things better, uh, along with a lot of us, all right? But, um, I think you’re going to see a guy is going to continue to improve because of where his mindset is right now. All right.
