This just has EVERYONE Confused…

This just has everyone confused as the Raptors are entering the season with one of the more unpredictable rosters in the entire NBA. And that has led reporters and analysts to propose a lot of crazy win projections as well as trade scenarios for this Toronto Raptor team, which are very, very interesting. So, we’re going to break down what these reporters are saying about this Toronto Raptor group, how many wins they’re projecting this team to get and what trades are already being tossed out there on the table after just one game of preeason because they had just got very, very jarring. And there’s a few interesting names being tossed out there, including one being Giannis onto Tacumbo after all of the latest developments, which we will discuss out here in this video. So, lots of stuff to dive into. Without further ado, let’s jump straight into it. Because the Raptors, as we know, right, are a team that entering this season are uh have higher expectations. Darker Rayakovich has talked about it. Bobby Webster has talked about it. They are hoping this team is competitive finally after multiple seasons where things have uh not been that great in terms of the win loss column. And speaking of the win loss column, you know, start off with the projections people are tossing out. they are uh you know have some people very fired up but also some people saying hey that’s uh that’s a little bit too high which is rare out there for a fan base and basically the overunders have been pegged you know multiple places have different overunders but the Raptors right now are hovering at that 39 wins you can see on the right side on this list so that’s projecting them to be the ninth best team in the Eastern Conference behind the Cavs the Knicks the Magic the Hawks the Pistons the Bucks the Sixers and the Celtics and very very close with the Pacers. I’ve seen a bunch of different overunder sites. You have us listed you alongside the Indiana Pacers in these types of lists. And then in the entire NBA, we’re worse than basically a lot of those teams, the Western Conference as well. So, that does have the Raptors ahead of the Heat, which I think are a team that could be sneaky competitive. I don’t think uh I don’t have high hopes for the Nets, the Wizards, or the Hornets, or any of these different types of rosters, but the Toronto Raptors here are being pegged as a playin middle of the pack squad. Now, if we’re taking a look at this list, because of course, you got to take a look at this Raptors team. Last season, the Toronto Raptors finished with the 30 and 52 record. And they didn’t look that great in terms of uh, you know, points per game, 23rd out of 30, you know, opponents points per game, 18th out of 30th. The Raptors did have a top 10 defense at the back uh, you know, the last stretch of last year. So, that is one thing to bring up, but uh, you know, other than that, they played fast. They didn’t have a great offensive rating. The defensive rating was fine and that has led to some interesting projections because this team of course is going to be a lot more talented this year because firstly your top guys won’t be resting fourth quarters especially the way they did the last third of the season. So that all in all, even if you’re injury riddle, as we were last year, right, that just playing your top guys to close out games will be very, very helpful in terms of adding wins to win loss column, which wasn’t that bad last season. As we said, you know, the Raptors are 30 and 52. So that’s one thing to take a look at to discuss. And then you also have CMBB coming into the mix. You have Makulli. So we have a little bit of a deeper front court along with Mobo and hopefully Shamsh is help somewhat. And then of course you’re adding Brandon Ingram, you know, to that forward spot. You know, him and Scotty Barnes are interchangeable in terms of the positions there, but you know, you’ve added some depth out there to your front court. We already have a lot of elite players out there at the wing position. You know, the Baji, Grey Dick, RJ Barrett, Jacobe, Walter, Jameson, Battle, AJ Lawson. This team is deep and this team is very very much uh has a lot more infusion of talent actually on the court than it would have last year. So with those arguments, you look at that and you say, “Hey, is 39 wins, you 10 win increase enough to really uh, you know, say, hey, that’s what we’re really looking at.” And you look at the other teams out there in the Eastern Conference as well. Few of them are confusing. The Celtics are a team without a big man. You know, they’re going to be running Luca Garza, Neimus Kada out there at the five spot. So no Jason Tatum, they lost Chris Porzingis, they lost Drew Holiday. 40 wins is an interesting spot. I think there’s a lot of question marks for that squad as well. So, we’ll see how things shake out with the Jaylen Brown Derrick White le team. The Sixers, they were atrocious last year. Of course, they have Edgecomb, they have a, you know, a big, you know, hopeful big if, you know, big if of Joel Embiid and Paul George being healthy this season. But they have talent on the roster, but they dealt with a lot of injuries and project to deal with a lot of injuries in the future. One team that I am just not sold on whatsoever are the Milwaukee Bucks, who have a 42 win over under. Of course, they do have Jiannis onto Kumbo as one of the best players out there in the NBA, but there are question marks regarding that and you know, we’ll take we’ll discuss all the trade scenarios, the trade stuff that’s being tossed out there. But there has been a lot of discourse on Giannis onto Tumbo. As Giannis is an agent have reportedly been reviewing teams which could realistically acquire him at the trade deadline. You know, the Prair ESPN, the groundwork is being laid. There’s an expectation that Giannis Antakumba will eventually leave the Bucks according to Brian Winhorse. And uh you know we’ll see whether it’s this you know trade deadline the offseason or whatnot. And the big thing that’s been taking people by storm is according to uh uh to tom.com if I’m pronouncing that correctly. Giannis’s wife Maria and their young four children have moved back to Athens. And then you had that Shams report end up dropping if you didn’t see that. essentially discussing how Giannis is uh you know wants to see how things play out in Milwaukee, but if they’re not competitive, they’re laying the groundwork and feeling out the entire NBA about where he could potentially go. The New York Knicks were what the top of his list, the top of his radar, and uh we’ll see how things shake out. Of course, yo, on this channel, we’ve been uh you know, we’ve coined the Giannis watch for years now at this point, trying to see whether or not he’ll land with the Raptors or or not. Of course, until he’s listed, the Knicks are his only destination. It’s still uh it’s it’s very much a pipe deer, especially about Messiah Juri out here on this team to recruit Giannis, those relationships there. But the Raptors do, as we saw, have a lot of depth, a lot of young players, a lot more assets than the Knicks do to uh facilitate one of these big trades. But we’ll see. We’ll see how things shake out there. But that transitions well in terms of other trade talks and other trade discussions which just has Raptors fans very very confused because essentially Bleach Report came out and propose this that uh the Raptors trade an ambitious trade target for the Toronto Raptors would be Michael Porter Jr. who is a very very interesting player. This is their pitch for the Raptors to acquire Michael Porter Jr. saying the Raptors finished 29th overall in made threepo pointers last season and 23rd in accuracy. Michael Porter Jr. owns career averages of 2.4 made threes per game on 40 uh.6% accuracy. His uh 18.2 points per game last year were a careerhigh and the rebuilding Brooklyn Net should be more than willing to move on from the 27y old for the right price. The Raptors need shooting alongside Scotty Barnes, Yaka Purle out there in the front court, an area which Porter has thrived his entire career. And you know, they’re not wrong in terms of the analysis. He’s a good shooter. He’s a good floor spacer. All that type of stuff, yada yada yada. But MBJ is a guy that if we’re really seriously looking at him as a trade target, it just doesn’t make a whole ton of sense for the Toronto Raptors to make one of these moves. You know, he’s a 30 million per year guy. And you know, we’re taking a look at the Raptors roster need shooting and stuff. Brandon Ingram does everything that Michael Border Jr. except for efficiency out there as a floor spacer. In terms of a scoring option, in terms of a bucket getter that you need around Scotty Barnes and Yaka Purle, Brandon Ingram does everything better than a Michael Porter Jr. I don’t really get the arguments in terms of why he’d be a better fit. You know, Brandon Ingram, we take comparison to the stats, 22 points per game, 5.6 rebounds, 5.2 assists. You know, he’s a very effective three-point shooter as well, just 2% uh, you know, in terms of total three points. Uh, down, they’re similar ages. We already have them on the roster. We have them locked up. I mean, you get the less off the court drama and all that. And defensively, you know, Michael Porter Jr. just isn’t really all that. So, you’re not really getting an upgrade there. Also, you know, you talk about injuries, the Raptors dealt with a bunch of injuries last season. You know, take a look at this roster. MPJ is always dealing with injuries. Now, at this point, we saw in the playoffs last season. I’m not that sold on him being, you know, a die ambitious ideal trade target for the Toronto Raptors. So, let me know what you guys think about all this in the comments section down below. Would you like to see the Raptors trade for Michael Bora Jr.? Do you think Yiannis onto Kumbbo trade possibilities are more likely at this point? And how you feeling about the Raptors over hunders? Let me know in the comments section down below. 1. Giannis' wife moving back to Athens with his family is not a good sign. Almost certainly spells trouble in that marriage. That's what a wife would do when her man retires from his career. She has essentially separated herself and her children from her man and the kids' father. Bad omen.

  2. Giannis has been speaking with Doncic and the two of them will be going back to the euro-league you just watch. The NBA is sliding downhill and the euro-league is busting and grooving.

  3. The hard part about the Raptor is they push defense yet there was one point cant remember if it was halftime and the Nuggets were just over 69% shooting against our starters. Granted I know Poetl was not playing that would have helped but if they had of held them to even 60% at that point they would have won by 10

  4. We could use Derrick white or maybe a veteran on the bench for Gradey… the eye test tells me he doesn’t work with what we’re trying to accomplish in the future…

  5. Barnes is looking like the odd man out after year five but we’re going see if that’s hold true the rest of the season especially with Cooper Flagg looking that good for a year one rookie,we’ll see.
