Seems Foote has the respect of the room. I’m here for it. And the clear shifts we have seen in a number of elements during the preseason is exciting to see. I’m hopeful.
Reading between the lines, Cootes will get a lot more than 9 games…
Wonder if the talk about Cootes easing the center depth problem give us an idea if they think he will stick for the whole season.
But what about Hughes to NJ?! No comments about him wanting to stay on the team?! The sky is falling, Quinn wants out! /s
How I feel trying to read this on my desktop:
Petey wants revenge by the looks of it
so what I’m hearing is Petey Selke and Cootes and Lekk fighting it out for the calder?
Nice to hear that we will continue to be a ‘cap team’ as it rises!
Very interesting how Petey is easier to talk to. Sounds like Brad Richardson’s warning of “you’re gonna lose him” came true. Probably why there was a debate between the two; Miller was more communicative and engaged, but had caused a problem in the room and was damaging their other, younger star. Water under the bridge if he gets back to being himself. My expectation up until the all star break 2024 was 100 points every year going forward pretty much.
