Who in their right mind thought this wouldnt be the case? The whole point of an 18 year veteran who is familiar with the division is that he will start….
FLACCO MY CRACKO
As expected. I don’t think he will be great but hopefully the team will rally around a dude who can help them win.
How many times during the broadcast will we hear “QB / center exchange”? Broadcasters love this situation.
In my personal opinion it was obvious Joe Flacco was going to start their was no way Jake Browning was ever going to be allowed back on the football field after his piss poor performance.
ELITE DRAGON READY TO WIN
40 yr old QB who has got benched every year for a decade starting 5 days later against one of the teams that has a real home field advantage?
How can this go wrong?
Making me root for Joe Flacco feels like a crime.
Going to need some extra weed for this game.
Makes sense, he’s already played against them this season.
My only concern is if the oline can get up to speed on time. They looked so bad against the Vikings when it was Brownings first full game.
Poor Flacco. He’ll be on the injury chart after this one.
Also Zac: Browning f$%@ing sucks
I was going to bet on the Packers to ease the misery of this season, but Vegas already priced it In. +14.5 is honestly the most I’ve ever seen for an NFL game, goodness
Does Flacco know this?
Really? There’s no way I could learn a new offense in 5 days. Hell I prolly couldn’t memorize the terms in that long, let alone what routes and blocking assignments those terms connected to
Constructing the Elite Dragon shrine in my house to ward off evil cheese spirits
Geriatric Dragon noises!
How funny will it be when Flacco beats the Packers twice with two different teams who aren’t making the playoffs.
I hope he survives the first half, but I don’t think he will.
imagine telling one of us 6 weeks ago this sentence
He beat the Packers in week 3.
Is Burrow there to help him? Or is it more of “good luck!”?
Have we ever had a Vet presence like this on the team in the ZT era? Feels like it’s all guys drafted or lower level additions. Hopefully Flacco can teach Taylor a thing or two about well coached organizations.
The Brown-Blackburn sent a car to pick up Flacco and his wife, I hope they sent more than just one car because they have 5 children, unless he’s commuting which explains the instate transfer.
Real question. How difficult will it be for even a savvy veteran to pick up on a new system and develop timing with new receivers with less than a week’s practice?
I just don’t get how anyone can pick up a playbook with as much complexity and nuance as a Zach Taylor brings to the table and just start.
Who ever doubted this?
When you’d rather start Joe Flacco with 2-3 practices over your backup who has been with the team learning the offense for years….
Who wants to bet that Jamar Chase was like “Yo, Zac. Jake Browning is making my hamstring hurt. Need to ditch this chump.”
I say we continue to trade picks away every week, slightly moving up in tiers of talent and potential until we find the fill gap. Since obviously, our future doesn’t matter without Joey B anyway.
Let’s end up with Mac Jones and 3 6th-round picks. Then, we can use them all on O-Line since regardless of the round they’re drafted, they’ll all be probable starters anyway.
For fucks sake, can we please fire Zack after this game? It’s the fucken coach, not the QB
I guess Zac’s complete faith in Browning has waivered
does Flacco think he’s Johnny Knoxville and be able to recover after getting smashed every time he drops back? we have a non mobile qb behind this sieve o-line, Jake will be back soon
